Delphus has a lovely home on a beautiful site. Her guest suite has its own private entrance, so the guest suite is completely private -- you can interact with Delphus to the degree you wish. The guest suite is connected to the main home, but noise was not an issue. Delphus' cinnamon rolls are a special treat!

This is a great value for your money if you’re visiting Shreveport and want a reasonable priced place to stay. Colby and his fiancée were very accommodating when I arrived late. And if you love dogs he has a very cute one.

Doug’s place is a super lovely retro home! The space was wonderful, filled with everything a guest needs! The bed was SUPER comfortable as was the pillows & bedding! My only thought: smoking is only outdoors but if someone had issues with the smell, it would probably be an issue. Good host, good location!

I needed a 8 consecutive day stay and one of those days for the ones I needed was taken in the room available, but they were kind enough to swap me to the other room that day free of charge to avoid extra service fees. You won’t find any safer, quality location around for the value!

This place was hands-down the cheapest price for the cleanest/least sketchy place I've seen on airbnb. That sounds like a low bar, but other cities do ask for much more for a comparable room. We got in late and only stayed the night, so we didn't see much, but it was a clean and well-kept house, and we're glad to have found it after a long day of driving.

It was easy to access the keys. The home was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Great location in town.

Tara was a gracious host and the place is really charming with fresh new linens,WONDERFUL bed and hip stylish decor. A value esp for more then 1 person with good separation of sleeping spaces. This adorable Airbnb is perfect for visiting Shreveport. You're a literal hop skip and a jump away from some of the best places to eat (best margs in town!), as well as less than two miles away from the R.W. Norton Art Gallery, Rhino Coffee (and Starbucks!) and much more. The space itself had the most stylish, thoughtful, comfortable layout and I highly recommend it!

I had a great stay at Leigh’s place! She met me person and was so sweet and welcoming. The property was clean and well-kept. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! It was just what I needed to rest between long night shifts. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay for 6 weeks and it was perfect! We made most of our meals there and the place had everything we needed. We were very comfortable and felt at home with the wonderful accommodations. The location was terrific and we enjoyed walking with our dog to the local park nearby each day. The fenced in backyard for our dog was another great plus as we could just let him out from the kitchen door. We were able to work on our computers from their place on the wireless internet without a problem. Leigh and Robert were awesome hosts by checking in with us but also giving us our privacy! Thanks again for a terrific vacation!

Leigh's place is a nice pool house situated in a great neighborhood near Centenary College. It is perfect for a solo travel or even a couple. Like the other reviews suggest, the bed is insanely comfortable as well. Leigh will respect your privacy if that is what you wish as well. When I'm in shreveport again I will definitely check to see if this place is available again.

We really enjoyed our night stay at Bre and Jeremy's place. They were very helpful and quick to respond. There was easy street parking and check-in was smooth. The space was well decorated and felt homey. I appreciated all the small amenities (coffee pot, mini-fridge, microwave) and games. The bathroom was clean and right across from the room. The room got a little warm at night b/c the heater was one, but we used the fan and it worked out just fine. The comfy bed was a plus. If ever in town again I would stay with them! Added bonus I loved being around their sweet outside cat! Really cute place nice and quite area.

Beautiful place for a relaxing and private get-away. Perfect for the nature lover. My husband and I needed a "reset" from life adjustments and business of our everyday lives. We were able to unwind in this simple get-away by reconnecting through canoeing on the beautiful lake, playing with our dogs in the fenced in yard, bbqing, playing board games, sleeping in, and enjoying much needed rest. I absolutely loved the clawfoot tub and all the antique touches this space offered. There are also lots of places to visit and dine-in that Heidi provided, although we enjoyed using the pit and cooking. We did get to check out the local dog park that was about 20 minutes away and spent an afternoon there with our pups. Would come back in a heart beat!

We had the most amazing time here !! The pictures are great but actually experiencing it is even more! No car noise, no traffic, no city lights, just nature. We can’t wait to come back again and again!! Been telling all our friends too. :)

The Red River Chalet is exactly as described; rustic and relaxing! It was stocked with everything we needed, and Steve’s hospitality was more than we could have asked for. We would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to return ourselves someday!

This cute homie spot in Shreveport was perfect for our trip to go visit our son who is in college! The guest suite was clean, modern, and had such a homie feeling. It is located in an area that had basically all restaurants, stores, ect around the corner!

David was more than accommodating as a host even though it was his first time. The price was fair. The studio I stayed in for a month and some days, felt like home so much I wish I would’ve stayed. You have everything you need. Washer & Dryer anytime no matter how small. Sponges for dishes. Silverware. Plates. Stove/Oven use. Firestick to connect to Hulu and/or Netflix. A beautiful stand-in shower with plenty of Towels. Not to say the least the space of the studio was more than I imagined. Pictures don’t do this amazing place justice. Neighborhood was safe. Neighbors were friendly. And I was able to get to work no problem as it’s a short commute to and from Youree Drive and even Bossier. Loved his place. Wish I could buy it from him. Let me know someday, David! Thank you for being more than a host!

This place is pretty amazing. It is still a work in progress as Jason is in the process of renovating. But the living room and one of the bedrooms appear to be completely done and done well! Very relaxing atmosphere, very friendly neighbors, easy to get to from the highway while also nice and quiet. The front yard has a chain link fence which is very nice if you're traveling with a dog. The bedroom I stayed in (finished one) has a clothing rack with hangers, 2 nightstands with lamps, and also a dresser. Jason showed us true southern hospitality by welcoming us personally, engaging in pleasant conversation and giving us tips on the Mardi Gras parade, restaurants to try, and everything. He was very kind, and quick to respond to text messages and phone calls. He was also very patient and understanding when my dog escaped her while I was out and tore up some blinds, which I was thankfully easily able to replace. Check out was easy and simple. All around excellence here. Excellent place, excellent host. Thank you again so much Jason!

Maureen's place is so secluded and quiet you would be shocked it is only 15 minutes from downtown. The space is new, contemporary, was fresh, clean, has great views and is extremely relaxing. She was responsive and offered solutions to the very minor hiccups we had. Check in was easy, instructions were detailed, you can't go wrong booking their space. The family of deer that met us in the yard the last night was pretty awesome as well!! Unless we HAVE to stay in a hotel when we return I would book with her again.

If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and comfortable place to stay while visiting Shreveport, then look no further, you’ve arrived! This was our first time visiting the city and we were happy to find Maureen’s listing. En route to the White House Guest Suite, we loved the winding roads and picturesque views of Cross Lake. Once inside the suite, we lifted the shades for views of the serene pool and deck from one side and lush green acreage from the other. While eating breakfast, we delighted in watching the livestock gather for their morning meal. In the evenings we dimmed the lights, lit a candle, and relaxed while reading books from the mini library provided. We didn’t utilize the outside amenities due to the rainy weather; but it was nice knowing the patio and hot tub were available to guests if we wanted to enjoy them. We stayed three nights and ventured out each day to learn more about the metropolitan area. We even drove west to Kilgore, TX and attended the city’s Oktoberfest! If you plan and research before your stay, you’ll find plenty to see and do! Maureen’s guest suite is close enough to everything if you’re visiting family in the area; but also removed enough to enjoy nature and the parks nearby. Thank you for hosting us, Maureen!

Perfect place for our girls night in Shreveport! Quick responses to all questions, the basket of extra toiletries was a thoughtful touch and we used several items! I loved the old books and had fun reading the 1958 encyclopedia! We went to the casino and it was just a short Uber drive. I wish I had a little “getaway “ place like this in my backyard! Haha Thanks for a clean place to relax for a night!

Ben was fantastic. Super prompt responses to messages. The room was super clean, have EVERYTHING my hubsters forgot ( shampoo & toothpaste). He had to head out after a death in the family and Ben was super sweet to turn the A.C. on after a 9 hour drive he was so thrilled to have a cool quiet placeto take a nap.

My hubby and I did a two day stay and we offer an A+ review. The place was very clean and looked freshly painted & renovated. But there was no tell tale sign or scent of paint. The atmosphere was great! Everything was nicely decorated. The furniture was nice and comfortable. Brook's place had all the comforts of home. She was a great hostess providing water, juice, frozen pizza, sodas, several types of chips, muffins, coffee, cream & sugar. The treats were a lovely surprise and much more than I expected. There were all sort of hygiene things in a basket in the bathroom available free of charge incase I had forgotten something. Kitchen items, towels & linen were all like new and bed was extremely comfortable. There was a washer, dryer and ironing board along with detergent. It was just like home. And she even suggested a place for dinner and it turned out great. We loved it! Our entire stay was so lovely. And we would definitely stay again.

The Barn Apartment was a great choice for my brief stay in Shreveport. The layout is very attractive: nice common area and kitchen with separated bedroom and bathroom, and the back patio is pleasant. I caught public transit ($1.25 fare) from the airport to the Transfer Center--another bus would get you within a couple blocks of the apartment, but I opted to walk the mile or so from the Transfer Center. Any destinations (local food, downtown, etc.) require a bit of a hike--wasn't a problem for me (downtown is a 35min walk), but my walking range is probably higher than average.

What a gem! This home is quite beautiful. The room was large. The bed was very comfortable with multiple fluffy pillows. The walls are adorned in eclectic art and there were even two friendly cats to pet. I arrived quite late on a stormy night and they still took great care of me.

They have some wonderful amenities like a mini fridge (stocked with still and sparkling), Keurig, large TV, desk, wifi, thermostat, and even left some special Valentine’s Day treats for me and my pup. Flexible, friendly, and excellent communication. I will definitely be recommending to others and staying again.

This place was in a great spot in the city with everything near by. Caitlin and Michael were superior hosts, they made sure we were very comfortable, the place was exceptionally clean, and lacked no amenities. They were very quick to respond to any questions and checking in/out is a breeze. Comfortable bed with a coffee maker and a hot shower, strong wifi, plenty of plush towels, your own thermostat. The room is very private and feels like you are in your own apartment. I would go back and reccommend the place to others. Awesome spot!

I recommend Eric's place to anybody traveling to Shreveport. I've stayed here a few times on work trips, and each time has been great. Eric'splace is in a quiet neighborhood and close to LSU hospital if you are a student or working there. His place is always clean and organized. Eric is great at communication also. He responds very quickly if you need to reach him.

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The cabin in beautifully updated and clean, clean, clean!! The property on the lake is also very lovely and relaxing. Buz is truly a SUPER HOST who thinks of everything!! The refrigerator was stocked with plenty of snacks and accommodations...a very nice touch. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly and will definitely be back in the future. Kudos, Buz!!

My single favorite stay off all time on the edge of the lake. Do yourself and book this cute cottage and really relax. So cool!

We just spent an amazing week at The Little Red House on Cross Lake! The house is simply amazing! Truthfully all you need is the clothes you plan to wear and any other personal items. If you forget something, don’t worry! Buz & JoAnn have you covered! We spent many relaxing nights in front of the fire- either in the enormous copper fire pit, the chimnea on the deck, or the beautiful fireplace in the house. We didn’t stop for groceries before we got there, but that wasn’t a problem. There was plenty in the house to eat and drink that evening and the next morning. It truthfully felt like you were at home. We enjoyed getting to know Buz, JoAnn, and Wen and playing with the dogs. Everything in the house was comfortable. The bed was dreamy! You could lay in bed and look at the lake while you listen to the birds and the trains. Go spend some time at The Little Red House! You won’t be disappointed!

The stay was amazing, it offered a quiet place to relax after going about your business. They were quick to reply and the suite was very clean and tidy and they left specific notes on how to better our stay at their home.

I was in Benton over Christmas and needed a place to stay since Mom's house was full. I was so happy to find Jonnie's place. What a cozy and affordable little apartment! I felt safe there and had a very comfortable stay. There's a bridge over the Black Bayou a few blocks away and I enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises over the water. I will definitely stay there again!
