“We are not big fan of Stray Dog, particularly during summer season. Very long waits and mediocre food. That said, we love the rooftop bar! It's 21+. They often have live music.”

American Restaurant
“Fantastic contemporary American food. Right on the harbor! Make a reservation during summer season. Insider tip: The Marina Grand, which houses the restaurant, has a rooftop deck/bar. Best views of the harbor in town. Open in the morning, too. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the views. ”

“Off Season specials just can't be beat; rib nights on Monday, and then regular menu specials Tue-Thurs. Aside from that, the dishes are just way too good to pass up. I'd say this place is a must to try! They always have the best features and homemade desserts.”

“Right across the street from Greenbush Brewery in downtown Sawyer you'll find Infusco Coffee Roaster. They do all your specialty hot and cold brews as well as teas and more. They have a delicious lineup of pastries and other snacks available as well. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. A great place to catch a morning cup of coffee or spend some time reading a book.”

Breakfast Spot
“Best breakfast place - farm to table fresh. Everything is homemade including the apple sauce served with the potato pancakes. Kid friendly but bring something to keep them entertained as the service is slow but worth the wait. Restaurant is joined to Swedish Bakery. Best coffee cakes, fresh pastry, homemade pies, cookies and espresso coffee drinks.”

Bakery
“** Delicious cakes (love their chocolate cake, ganache filled, with white frosting), ginger molasses cookies, great granola, and other baked goods. ** A good place to go to grab a cake for a special occasion. I believe it's closed on Sundays so check before heading there.”

Bakery
“This is a local favorite. They offer both vegetarian and meat options, and their barbecue veggie meat is made from scratch and is my personal favorite. I don't normally like sandwiches, but I make an exception for Baguette De France. There are many who grew up in this town and look forward to eating at here every time they come home to visit. It's been newly renovated. Great food, great location and great ambiance. They're open 10-10 most days. ”
