Café
“Dobra does not sell coffee! There are three locations to this chinese inspired Tea Shop but I chose the one closest to the Airbnb. There's also one downtown and in West Asheville. Apparently there are a lot Tea drinkers after all. Just a heads up a lot of the seating in the West AVL and Downtown location require you to take off your shoes. Not the best option when you're wearing Target flats. When you arrive they will hand you a dictionary sized tea list and a bell to ring when you've chosen a tea (or randomly guessed one to order.) I like to pretend when I ring the bell I'm calling my butler, Jeeves. Note: they do not like being called Jeeves”

“At The Red Radish Catering Company you can purchase the best carry-out meals from 3 to 7 pm. They have lunch and dinner options available. The food is excellent, so tasty--above and beyond, really--the menu is creative and delightful, and it's a perfect option if you prefer staying in for a nice evening and don't feel like cooking. When you visit the website, click on Red Radish To Go to view the Asheville/Black Mountain menu. Red Radish on East State Street in Black Mountain is a five minute drive from the cottage. Bon Appetit, ya'll!”
