Restaurant
“The Thai food is excellent! I really enjoy the sushi choices as well, especially the chef's specials (watch the sriracha sauce - they are liberal with it)”

“Hands down the best Pizza in town! Salads are fresh - dine in or carry out. We normally get the super supreme - it will serve 3-4 easily.”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Located at Northern Entrance to mountain pass. Stop in and visit this old time market and grab a hamburger or hot dog!”

Car Repair
“What follows has nothing to do with United Auto Exhaust (other than it IS a great place if your muffler fails during travel) but it's the closest landmark I could find to Wrights Valley Road, an awesome paved road for bikers. Some say it's one of their favorite rides in Southwest Virginia. It is well paved, hardly any traffic and beautiful scenery. For those wanting a challenge, you can also ride over the mountain to Mud Fork and over another mountain back to TipTop ( pretty steep). ”

Museum
“This Train use to run at the top of East River Mountain. Now it resides and operates at the Bluefield City Park. All ages will enjoy - the track is about a mile. Minimal fee to ride - I think $2.00”

Pharmacy
“Five minutes down the road, this is a pharmacy with its original soda fountain. It's an iconic gem of "local color." They serve great burgers and fries, salads, malts and shakes, and an amazing breakfast. Food served 9-3pm. Fountain closed Sundays. ”

“Small but eclectic town with restaurants, an old drug store with restaurant in it and one of the coolest knife stores I've ever been in.”
