Restaurant
“a downhome (read: informal) local family restaurant. Good casual fare, local wines and beers, and a real local feel. Try it out any night, but make sure to try Monday nights for “Libby’s night” (Libby’s was a well known Mexican restaurant in the neighboring town of Philo that closed but Libby still shows up here on Monday nights to cook for the town.) ”

Food
“Foresight Wines (14475 CA-128, Boonville, CA)– at the east end of Boonville, just as you enter the town on your left is a lovely family-owned small batch winery which makes its wines sustainably. Amazing Sauvignon Blancs, light whites and Pinot Noirs. These are award-winning wines and Joe in the tasting room is an absolute wealth of knowledge on wine-making in general and the Anderson Valley terroir. Tell Kristy and Joe we said hello! ”

Point of Interest
“Wendy has out together a great little spot for tastings, both local and from abroad. Great place to try a few local Mendocino wines that don't have tasting rooms of their own. Also boasts an impressive collection of wines from both new and old world regions. Nice selection of snacks and a highly recommended stop if you are into trying hard to find wines in the Anderson Valley.”
