Set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views and direct private access to the celebrated walking spots. Elgar taught music here and played the organ in the adjoining Holywell Chapel!
Luxury Malvern accommodation set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The Studio is part of Holywell Chapel's grounds which adjoin the Malvern Hills Conservators land, accessed via a private gate directly to the bridleway, cycle and footpath networks. Heading south you will reach the Iron Age British Camp hillfort, and North takes you to the Wyche Cutting and onto Great Malvern. Also, conveniently situated a short distance from the Great Malvern town centre and Theatre, the Three Counties Showground and Ledbury. Architect designed and constructed in 2013, the Studio offers a haven of tranquility for visitors. There are two bedrooms, one with King Size bed, the other with twin beds. One bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
A few hundred metres from the Holywell Spring, the area is steeped in history and has a really magical feeling. Our favourite pub, the Chase is a 25 minute walk the other side of the hill or there is the Wyche 15 minutes away. Come and enjoy!
  • We sat there and watched the clouds roll by from up high. Perfect. First trip with our 8 week old twins. Knew we wouldn't get out much, so this place was perfect.

  • Amazing views of the Malvern Hills. There were 4 adults and one 5 month year old and space was fine. A travel cot was provided for us although a high chair was not available. A few basic items were provided in the food cupboards. Overall a beautiful apartment with stunning views.

  • We had a lovely stay at the studio. The space was perfect. Location was perfect. We were looking for a space where we could just sit and enjoy a beautiful location and that was exactly what we got. The walk up into the hills is equally beautiful and worth doing. It’s the perfect space to sit back and relax. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

  • Cannot express enough how happy we were with The Studio! It made for the perfect weekend away with my boyfriend & the dog. The most amazing views from inside & even in February we could have the door open & enjoy the views from the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning as you are sheltered from any wind & rain. Scenic walking trails right on your doorstep and SO many walks to be done, we could have walked all day! No need to drive as you are literally ON the side of the Malvern Hills. Really cannot thank Paddy enough for answering all my questions & the quick responses. Also for the restaurant recommendations - we went to The Inn at Welland for dinner - SPECTACULAR food! And then the Cottage in the Wood for a Sunday Roast and again, amazing food but also insanely good views! We are already planning on booking again! Thanks Paddy ☺️

  • The Small Arts cottage was perfect for a weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area is beautiful and Mark is super helpful and provides a lot of information on what to do in the surrounding areas. Only surprise was the lack of indoor sink which made the dishes become a lil challenge outside in the cold, but that doesn’t take away from the cosy comfortable stay that the cottage provides. Being able to see the stars from where you are sleeping is a huge plus and shouldn’t be missed.

    Finlay2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • A very cute little cottage that was cosy even in December weather. It was in a lovely setting and has lots of little touches to make the place feel like home and help the small space feel larger! Self check in was helpful as we arrived late, and Mark was very accommodating. We had a great stay.

    Niamh2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a lovely couple of nights in the tin shed. We especially loved the wood burning fire and thoughtful up-cycling decor. The quirky venue did not dissapoint and it was lovely to take a stroll around the farm grounds. 100% would recommend to friends and family. It was the perfect base for exploring the Malverns.

    Emma2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place to stay! We had an amazing few nights here (would recommend staying a few nights as you wont want to leave!). The space is so well thought of, it feels so cosy and homely, perfect on a winters evening in front of the wood-burning fire. Perfectly placed for trips into Hereford/Worcester and an ideal location for hiking in the Malverns. Loved it!

    Steven2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Unique and stunning accommodation. The attention to detail and passion that’s gone into creating this lovely place is clear to see. Breakfast was delicious and there’s lots of interesting places to visit so is ideally situated to explore the beautiful countryside, shops and cafes or simply sit and relax with a wonderful book or board game.

    Jayne2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely and unique little place, hidden on the edge of the Malverns, with good access to Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The views over the farm are fantastic, with ponies at the front door and the stars were spectacular once the weather cleared. The log burner was invaluable on the cold, wet nights. Can imagine a stay here over the summer would be even more wonderful. Would recommend

    Mpho2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved this place! It’s really well thought out, stylish and has more than enough room for two. The loft bedroom was amazing, very comfortable and a huge bed (if you have them put together) looking out over the fields. The log burner got going with no trouble whatsoever and kept the place lovely and warm for the evening/night. The kitchen was perfect and had far more accessories than we expected. The outdoor space would be brilliant in the warmer months, the views across the fields are lovely, as was the sky at night. A really nice space, we were checking out availability for the spring on the journey home!

A continental breakfast is included with your stay and will be delivered at a time of your choice in a traditional hamper, to be enjoyed in bed or at your quaint dining area.
Coddington is a very small hamlet with approx 12 dwellings, 2 working farms, a church and even its own vineyard. There are lots of lovely walks and public footpaths to follow in the surrounding area. The vineyard is open seasonally for tours if you fancy trying out some local wine and it has a small shop to brows round. The Malvern Hills are only a short distance away by car, for longer walks and spectacular views over Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We have 2 local country pubs, in Wellington Heath and Staplow, which we would highly recommend for that traditional experience of country life, food and drink. Colwall is a small village 3.6 miles away that has a convenience store and a selection of places to eat and drink. Our nearest town is Historic Ledbury, full of charm, tudor buildings, as well as modern shops to meander round before stopping in one of the many tea rooms for a comforting break. Further afield are the 3 cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester with their inspiring cathedrals and shopping experience.

  • Daniel’s place is absolutely breathtaking. If you’re craving an escape from the city, this is it. We were literally sleeping under the stars. The place is spotless and the hosts are very welcoming. A big thumbs up!

  • A beautiful place to stay! The place is spotless, cosy and has everything you need. We only stayed for one night but wish it could have been more. The views are spectacular. The host provided a lovely hamper with some local treats which was a lovely touch. Would stay again for sure.

  • This was a lovely little place, the directions they give are spot on (so don’t follow sat nav). We loved how trendy and comfy the flat was, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Slight noise issues from another guest but that isn’t the owners fault. We cooked one night and got a takeaway from the Indian in Malvern for the other night. Would happily return and hopefully bring some family next time too.

  • The Ash is in a great location close to Malvern which has all you need in terms of activities, shops and food. The actual building was perfectly placed out of the way and was the perfect place to relax and recharge in. It was well decorated and furnished with everything you need plus the entertainment on offer was top quality.

  • Really lovely room and bathroom, with amazing views across open farmland of the Malvern Hills. Well provisioned and spotlessly clean. Tranquil and quiet. Pam is a top notch host too,

    Joe2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful location. If we'd stayed longer I'd have loved to have found out more about the building process, but it was just a flying visit to this beautiful home. We wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.

  • Was very good

    James2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay on the edge of the Malvern hills. Everything was super easy and the loft room is a really nice cosy (and warm) space). Recommended.

    Matt2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful stay in a wonderful location - a nice peaceful retreat. We were due to arrive late at night, around midnight and Pam was very accommodating of this. She provided all the instructions needed to get there. Please do follow the directions provided very carefully, as google maps/ satnav takes you too far. We managed to follow the instructions given, and find the property in pitch black so thank you for the detailed description provided. It's a wonderful property, with beautiful touches and you just feel so immersed in nature. Waking up to the view of the countryside was a beautiful site. Would definitely recommend this property.

    George2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning place - just so beautiful and peaceful. The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Pam was so hospitable and went above and beyond for us! We’d love to come back - thank you 😊

    Emma2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. We were made to feel so welcome by Pam. Total attention to detail, even down to accommodating what we like for breakfast (extra charge for breakfast and well worth it!). Our room (a small double room) was spotless, comfortable bed, fantastic shower and even a small office/dressing room. Tea, coffee, biscuits all provided in the room, but we chose to have coffee downstairs taking advantage of a lovely sofa, underfloor heating and stunning views. We have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs and we couldn't find fault, not that we wanted to! We didn't want to leave, and will definitely return sooner rather than later.

Little Croft is a beautifully refurbished self contained timber clad annexe that sits beside, but separate from, the main house called The Croft. It's outside seating area has an uninterrupted view of the Malvern Hills and looks out over an acre of secure garden with it's own private all weather tennis court. Munsley is just 10 minutes drive from the beautiful historic market town of Ledbury and approx 20 minutes drive from the M50 giving great access links to all areas of the country.
Little Croft has one bedroom with a superking sized zip and link bed. This can be made up as two full sized single beds if preferred. The bedroom has a chest of drawers and full hanging cupboard for guests belongings. The small but perfectly formed bathroom lies within the bedroom suite and has an enormous wet room style level access shower, a large basin and a WC. The floor tiles are specifically designed for wet rooms with excellent grip to help those with limited mobility or concerns about slipping. The main living space has a small kitchen fitted with a full sized under counter fan oven, ceramic hob, small fridge and slimline dishwasher. There is seating in this section for guests around a small square table. The sitting area has one large sofa, a tv with integrated dvd player, shelving with books and dvds for guests to borrow whilst staying and a desk unit that offers guests a chance to look at various maps, plan walks and things to do in the local area. Outside there is a small table and chairs for dining al fresco and two deck chairs for soaking up the sun and the wonderful view.
There are many public footpaths in and around Munsley that cross farmland and apple orchards for which this area is most well known. Little Croft lies adjacent to a wonderful 'round' known as 'Canal Walk no 1 - Staplow', which is approx 2.5miles long and takes around an hour and fifteen minutes or so to complete, obviously depending on how fast you walk. More importantly however, half way round is a great pub called The Oak Inn, Staplow, which serves great food and local ales and is only 25 minutes walk from the property. Dogs are welcome in the bar area, so it's a great opportunity to combine the daily walk with a delicious lunch savouring beautiful organic apple orchards and wildflower meadows on the way! Please book in advance if you want to eat at The Oak on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The Malverns are 15 minutes drive away, the Forest of Dean about 40 minutes drive away and the Welsh border about 1 hour, so walks and beautiful scenery are plentiful in this truly beautiful part of Britain. There are several maps and walking books within the property for you to use and research from during your stay. If Antiques are more your thing than walking, then Leominster and Ludlow are 40 minutes and 1 hour away.... books, then the gorgeous Hay-on-wye approximately 1 hour drive away, cider, then Westons Cider is approximately 15 minutes away, Gin and Vodka, then the Chase distillery aprox 20 mins drive away, and many other attractions such as National Trust properties, Eastnor Castle, Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester Cathedrals, Cheltenham racecourse and the Three Counties Showground, all within an hour's reach. Ledbury itself is a lovely, vibrant market town with a unique feel. There are some fantastic gift shops, lovely cafes and restaurants/pubs, a beautiful fabric, textiles and homeware shop called Tinsmiths and Roger Oates, the famous carpet/runner maker, is just up the road in Eastnor. So whether your stay is for a day or one month, there is plenty to do and see locally and as part of a day trip away.
  • This is a beautiful place to stay - the apartment is very thoughtfully designed and decorated with plenty of space and all that we needed for the weekend. Alice was welcoming but unobtrusive, a great host.

    James2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect cottage stay with lovely extra touches. We went to relax and that's exactly what we did and have come home feeling very refreshed. Highly recommend staying here. The oak inn was recommended to us as a pub we could walk to and the food was great.

  • Little Croft is a super clean, stylish place in a lovely rural location with a comfy bed and delicious brownies on arrival. Alice is close by in the main building if you need anything. Her guidebook to the area is one of the best I have come across. Dogs are welcomed and have a fenced in area to play in.

    Caroline2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully presented detached annexe completed tastefully to a very high standard. Comfortable and cosy , surrounded by a wealth of walks, pubs and pretty villages

  • Fantastic place. Don’t hesitate, go ahead and book it now. It’s clean, modern and tastefully decorated and with many more amenities for all eventualities. Fantastic place. Super comfortable large bed with the softest sheets and very good pillows. A large living area tastefully decorated and comfortable large sofa. Well stocked kitchen with oven, hob, sink and all the cooking utensils you could need and then some. Also lots of amenities such as a variety of breakfast items, juice and even butter. And... a fantastic hot shower! All this in the most peaceful surroundings.

The Moats is a pretty late Tudor half-timbered, thatched private cottage B&B in a quiet rural backwater between Ledbury and Malvern. Choice of single, twin and double bedrooms, some with low doorways/ceilings. Shared bath/shower room, separate shared WC/basin. Extended continental breakfast included, served in the kitchen. Cooked breakfast extra, to order. Shared living room with TV, etc., free wi-fi, off-road parking for cars, motorbikes and cycles. No children, pets, parties or smoking.
Other larger twin, double and family rooms available. This single room, we call the "bunny hutch", because of its small size (just 13'6" x 4' wide). It is for the nimble, having a little doorway, just 2'6" high by 2' wide). Windowless, but neither claustrophobic nor stuffy due to the high ceiling, it contains a comfortable single bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, hanging rail, shoe rack and tea/coffee facilities. It shares a bath/shower room and separate WC with two other rooms, and has proven very popular with single guests travelling on business or on a budget.
In pretty countryside between Ledbury and Malvern, we are popular with guests walking in the Malvern Hills, visiting the Three Counties Showground and Eastnor Castle events. Malvern is famous for Morgan Cars and the Festival Theatre, Ledbury for its independent shops and restaurants, historic buildings Poetry Festival and Westons Cider. Close to fine NT and English Heritage properties, open gardens, Cathedral cities and the River Severn. Located in the Forest of Dean, within easy reach of The Wye Valley ANOB, Welsh Borders, Birmingham, The Black Country, NEC, Stratford and the Cotswolds.
  • The hospitality was excellent and the room, although small was very cosy. Fiona is an excellent host and the room and other amenities were clean and comfortable.

  • This was such a great find. Thank you Fiona for your hospitality. The house was charming and I loved staying in the quirky cosy little room, lovely comfortable bed and everything clean and tidy. The breakfast was quite adequate and Fiona went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay.

Whitewells Farm is a small complex of barns converted in 1978 into holiday cottages situated near the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border with fantastic views from all cottages towards the Malvern Hills. They've all been individually decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard and are a home from home. We are ideally situated to use as a base whilst visiting Stratford, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Ludlow, Warwick and Bristol to name a few or as a base for a relaxing break all year round.
Cider Press cottage is a very comfortable well equipped spacious cottage with lounge/diner, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom on one level. Its bedroom has either twin beds or a superking (please advise requirement at time of booking). Cider Press cottage has everything that you would need for any length break either relaxing in the gardens taking in the views or hiking over stiles and exploring the local area. It has its own dedicated seating area overlooking the Herefordshire countryside.
We live in a rural location 1 mile outside Cradley. Cradley is a large village with a Church, doctors and local shop/butcher. We are within an hours drive of Bristol, Gloucester, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Birmingham, Shrewsbury to name but a few. We are perfectly centrally situated to visit many attractions that the Midlands, Cotswolds and Gloucestershire have to offer. There are a number of well respected wineries in Herefordshire including Three Choirs and of course much of the cider produced finds its way across the globe. Herefordshire has an abundance of highly rated eating establishments from rosette pubs to Michelin rated restaurants. Hereforshire is a county that really does produce lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, fish and meats which is then used in lot of restaurants and local cafes. Malvern is highly regarded on the theatre circuit showing many shows from London and it also has its newly renovated cinema showing all the latest releases alongside art house releases. Cradley nr Malvern Worcestershire. Quiet four bedroom farm house set in a rural location. Surrounded by footpaths with views set around the Malvern Hills. Motorway access is 15/20 mins away. Off-road parking available and I can accommodate larger vehicles.
Although I live on site with three dogs, two cats and two chickens your space is your own. You have your own lounge/dining area, bedroom and bathroom. You may have to look at sheep on the odd occasion though but they keep themselves busy eating grass.
We are in a great location for walkers, cyclists and lovers of the countryside. Based near the Malvern Hills we have lots of local attractions. The three counties show ground has lots going on and if you fancy chilling out then why not try Malvern Theatre.
  • Great area and beautiful surroundings, great and welcoming host, and best of all a great bed. Definately a place I can recommend.

  • Great place to stay for Malverns or Herefordshire, super host Emma is very accommodating and the room is so lovely, very highly recommended

    Iain2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Really comfortable bed! Emma and Rob are really welcoming hosts. They couldn't have been more helpful. I'm sure I'll be back.

    Emily2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • My second time staying with Emma - such a lovely home and the bed is soooo comfy. Lovely to have the use of your own lounge with its own entrance, which is equipped with a small fridge, kettle and microwave, as well as some cutlery to use. Also you have your own bathroom next to the bedroom. Even though its all in the main house, I felt like I was in my own apartment. Highly recommend. Emma is also very warm and welcoming too.

    Nayna2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Emma was very friendly and the place is a very tranquil and beautiful place to stay

    Jonny2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely location with stunning views of the hills, Emma & Rob's place was the perfect peaceful retreat for me. I really appreciated having the lovely lounge/diner all to myself, where I could heat up my food, make tea and relax, then go up to my HUGE luxurious bed! Very friendly, welcoming hosts who were happy for me to come and go as I pleased with my own key, but were on hand if I needed anything (which I didn't, because they'd pretty much thought of everything!). It's a very private, comfortable space and just what I needed to survive a full-on weekend of dance workshops nearby!

    Sarah2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for work and it’s FAB I would happily bring my wife it’s such a nice place and very friendly Thank you 👍

    Ivan2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely welcome and introduction as Emma was there at the time. Fresh and clean throughout with comfy bed and nice touches like delicious biscuits and sweet soaps. Mind Emma’s instructions about not approaching via Wells Lane as it’s having a name makes you think it’s just a narrow lane, whereas it isn’t even a lane really. Visited the unique dream world of Ralph’s Court, t’other side of Bromyard - well worthwhile. Enjoy!

Currently Only Available for Key Workers or Longer Lets of 30 Days Plus. Message for Prices The Hays is a charming old Malvern Stone cottage built high up into the hillside with wonderful views of the Cotswolds and Bredon Hill. The location gives easy access to the hills walking routes but is a mere 5 minute drive into Great Malvern town centre, with amenities such as supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, boutique shops, Malvern Theatres and there are 2 local pubs within a 5-10 minute walk.
The Hays is a converted hay barn which was used to house the donkeys who would ferry the Victorian visitors up the hill. It is said to date back to around the mid 1700's having originally been built as a hay barn and the house next door being the coach house. The hay barn is now very comfortable 1 bedroom cottage with all modern conveniences and a wonderful log burner which is particularly atmospheric in the winter months. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric burner hob and oven to cook up a storm should you wish to! There is breakfast bar seating for 4 people plus a washer/dryer and fridge to keep all the chilled essentials in. During the warmer weather we'd recommend a morning coffee outside whilst watching the sunrise which is really spectacular, and something not to miss. The kitchen is stocked with various teas, hot chocolate, instant and ground coffee, salt, pepper, oil and possibly even some treats for your furry friend if you're bringing one. The living room is comfortable and tastefully decorated including a brand new 3 seater sofa bed and two armchairs. There are plenty of logs and kindling to get the log burner going and it'll be set up ready for you to light. Add in some family favourite board games and a smart TV and you've got your cosy winter evening sorted! Upstairs in the bedroom the double bed has a sprung mattress with a memory foam layer which is finished with a pillowed top which we hope will give you a wonderful nights sleep. You'll also find a high chair, iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the cupboard should you need them. There's also space for a travel cot if you need to bring one. The bathroom has everything you could need including a thermostatic shower with a large rain shower head and a second flexible head. There's plenty of shower gel, shampoo and handwash too. There isn't a back garden at The Hays (it is the actual hill!) but there is a wonderful courtyard at the front of the cottage with a table and chairs for 4, which means you can take in some of the best views. The road is quiet and only used by residents so the front courtyard is a great place to enjoy breakfast or a simple coffee whilst watching a glorious sunrise...if you're up early enough!
The Hays is located in The Wyche area of Malvern Hills so it's on the Hill itself. Once you get here you can access the hills without need for a car but you may wish to explore further parts of the hills and a car would be useful to get you to the various car parks quicker than on foot. There is parking outside the house on the road and spaces are usually easy to find as only residents tend to park outside. If you want to eat out or explore Great Malvern the town centre is about a 15-20 minute walk depending how fast you walk! In Great Malvern you'll find a Waitrose and some lovely independent shops and Malvern Threatres which we'd thoroughly recommend. Within a 10 minute drive you'll find the Three Counties Showground for all the country and flower shows and also The Morgan Motor Company who do brilliant factory tours at a really reasonable price. Eastnor Castle is a great day out just on the other side of the hill about a 15 minute drive away and a visit to Ledbury is a lovely half day out with its boutique shops and Tudor properties. Worcester City is also recommended as is its Cathedral and Commandary and perhaps a bike ride along the river, you can drive to Worcester in about 25-30 minutes. Cheltenham with its regency splendour and great shopping is about 45 minutes by car. Further afield if you fancy a visit to the bright lights of Birmingham it'll take you about 1 and 15 minutes by car or just less than that if you take the train from Great Malvern...there's so many more visitor attractions we could list including some really interesting and beautiful National Trust Houses and Gardens and the beautiful villages of The Cotswolds are about an hour away and well worth a visit. If you want any specific recommendations please do ask us.
  • Naz & Andy’s cottage is clean & comfortable and was perfect for our weekend away. The hills are moments away from the front door and it was a great place to start and end the days. I was worried initially about its location because we had decided to take the train to Great Malvern, but its location is great if you want somewhere quiet with a fantastic view to wake up to! We found it warm & cosy with excellent cooking facilities. Naz was quick with her responses and was very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave!

  • Really great time at the hays cottage. Amazing space to chill, amazing views, great communication and just a wonderful experience!!

  • We were so glad to arrive through all the flooding. We would have hated cancelling but great communication from our hosts, reassured us all was ok. Wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage and obviously very thoughtful caring host. Well done to Naz and Andy xx

  • We had a fabulous stay and found the cottage to be extremely well equipped and homely. The location was excellent and could easily walk up the hills from the front door. We did have one issue with the lock on the front door which completely broke! But because Andy was so responsive and close by it was replaced first thing next morning. Luckily being a stable door we could open the top part and climb in and out!! Altogether a great stay and would definitely return if visiting the area again.

  • Amazing little cottage

    Adam2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Naz and Andy 's place is great. It's a delightful little cottage with everything you'll need for your stay. The location is amazing as you are right on the hills. Thanks for having us!

    Jenna2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Hays. This cottage is adorable, stylish, cozy, and perfect for a couples' getaway. The location can't be beat with beautiful views out over the hills and a 15 minute walk to the Wyche cutting (trailhead for a number of walks). Naz and Andy were marvellous hosts who took care of everything, left a number of lovely small touches (bread, butter, milk, logs for the fire, etc...) and were incredibly quick to respond to any queries. If Airbnb offered awards for hosts, Naz and Andy should certainly win one for their attentiveness and hospitality. We felt incredibly welcomed and can't wait to come back!

  • Naz & Andy's perfect cosy cottage in the Malverns is simply stunning, comfortable, has everything you need and all those little extra touchs which makes it an amazing place to stay. The local area is stunning and definitely recommend the Plough & Harrow for great food. Managed a walk up to the Beacon and it stayed clear, spectacular views and walk able from the cottage. Would definitely love to return to this special place, thanks both.

We've created a quirky, self-contained retreat. It is on the beautiful Malvern hills, surrounded by uplands and woodland, a short walk from the Iron Age hill fort of British Camp. Ideal for nature lovers, bird watchers and walkers. It is in the Castlemorton Common SSSI and is an AONB. Dark skies are fantastic for night sky watching. Malvern, Ledbury, Tewkesbury (20, 15, 30mins) are beautiful towns with fabulous theatres, cinemas, lesure centres, spas, markets, museums and historical buildings.
The retreat is self-contained and is in our large and beautful garden. It is small. Ideal for one or two. There's a tiny shower and toilet with a basic kitchenette including, single ring induction hob, a microwave and fridge. The retreat has its own little gravel garden with a table, chairs and firepit.
It is a walker paradise. You can walk in any direction out of the door into woodland or up onto the ridge of the hill. You have the length of the hills to explore, the unique grasslands of the common and the parkland of Eastnor Castle is just over the hill. Nearest pub, which serves food, is 20-30 minutes walk along the ridge.
  • Beautiful little place that is completely self sufficient warm even in the middle of winter. The location is great for walking the Malvern ridge, as it is literally on the side of the mountain and withing access to amazing walks in lots of directions. Zoe and her husband were very welcoming, offering us wellies if needed, any necessities from their house and even a ride in their car if we needed to go anywhere. Keep in mind that this is a very isolated location and hard to reach with out a car. We came by train and had to take a 20 minute taxi to the place. Alternatively you could walk there (2.5h) from Great Malvern by road or even by the ridge as we did when we left. If you don't come by car, it is also wise to bring your own food for your stay as the nearest shop is a 40 min walk away. Despite this, this is exactly what we wanted and the only true complaint is that we didn't decide to stay longer.

    Valentina2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderfully situated hidden gem! For a small space it's very well designed, perfectly functional and really cosy. The rain tinkling on the metal roof is a real treat! You're straight out onto paths that take you up into the hills, so much beauty to explore. If you're wanting to cycle, be aware that the terrain is very challenging so if you're after a leisurely ride it's probably not appropriate, but if you're up for mountain biking then it's perfect (note there are designated cycle routes than can be found online). Would recommend this place for rural explorers and nature lovers (:

    Anna2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect secluded getaway... stylish accommodation with everything needed for a mini break ... plenty of walking and a short drive to local resources We were thankful for the complimentary mulled wine too!

  • A gorgeous little hideaway tucked in the folds of the Malvern Hills, at the end of a track half a mile from the nearest lane, and just feet from a stunning view over the Severn Valley. Peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of well-trodden paths over the hills. And a lovely half-hour hillside walk to the pub!

Fresh Eggs from our farm are normally available. There is a shared fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and large decking. We’re on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)
  • This place is lovely, the pictures on here don’t do it justice. We had the whole barn to our selves as they close the yurt in the winter so no other guest there. It’s quiet there and you have privacy and the whole barn and loft it’s self is very modern and beautiful. They also left us a breakfast basket with some eggs milk bread and butter and marmalade which was a great touch! The bed is comfy and the bathroom is lovely. I would definitely recommend this place because you do get more than what you pay for. We Will stay again but next time in the summer where it would be even nicer! Thank you

    Joshua2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Me and Laurence really enjoyed our stay at Raven’s Loft. The space is beautiful with amazing views and we found it very cosy. The breakfast basket was brilliant and the brownies were so good too! The location is great, perfect distance from a good local pub where we had a meal on Saturday night. We also cycled to Ledbury which was easy to get to. So it suited our trip very well indeed. Would recommend staying here to our friends.

  • A truly stunning place. Lovely hosts. Perfectly peaceful location. Added touches when we arrived made the stay even nicer- there home made brownies are to die for. They kindly accommodated our later check in and gave us tips for visiting the local area, we couldn’t have had a better stay and will 100% be returning!

The accommodation offered derives from the complete refurbishment of a former bakery sited in the grounds of a 17th century timber framed building known as Shirkway Cottage. Offered is a spacious room providing double bed, en-suite bathroom and breakfast area all set to create a relaxing environment in what is an outstanding area of beauty.
Guests will be provided with cereals, croissants, bread, fruit, beverages etc. for breakfast with the provision of combination microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge with icebox for their convenience. The room offered occupies the majority of the building with a smaller area with separate access available at the front of the building providing laundry facilities and a full size pool table should this take your fancy, access to this room by arrangement but at no additional cost.
The area is very popular with both walkers and cyclists. The town centre of Ledbury is a short drive away being a place of many historic and period buildings. A good selection of pubs and restaurants exists in the town. Popular tourist sites such as Eastnor Castle and Westons Cider Museum are all a short distance away as is Ross on Wye for its river walks and canoeing. The City of Hereford is in itself worth a visit with its Cathedral and extensive shopping facilities in both the old part and newly developed areas of the city.
  • Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, brilliant hosts. What more could you want?!

    Ali2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Christine and Peter were absolutely lovely to deal with, very hospitable and incredibly helpful when we asked for recommendations on where to eat/walks nearby. They’ve got a very friendly dog, Meg who came bounding up to welcome us as soon as we pulled in the driveway and enjoyed being made a fuss of. The place itself was spotless, we could tell it was still very new....very very comfy bed and lovely shower room. We struggled to connect our phones to WiFi (not very strong signal as I think it is based in their house) but that doesn’t really matter when you’re in such beautiful surroundings, however we were able to connect the TV to Netflix with minimal issues. The area around the room is stunning, it’s set in between Christine and Peter’s farmhouse and a cider apple orchard, surrounded by fields - very peaceful and on a clear night you’d have a great view of the night sky because there is no light pollution. Christine provides a lovely continental breakfast with fresh bread & croissants, cereals, fruit & yoghurt and even left us a couple of homemade custard tart slices in the fridge! All in all it’s just a very charming and peaceful countryside stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of your local town/city - it was nice to be woken by a cockerel rather than an alarm clock!! We’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again!

    Samantha2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • What an excellent choice in booking a short break with Christine and Peter. The accommodation was everything that we required and whats more included so many little extras that added to our stay. We are more than happy to recommend the accommodation, the facilities and the location but more than those we especially recommend the hosts as they were probably the most friendly and helpful that we have come across. Thanks again.

    Jean2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. Booked at the last minute and accommodated for with fast responses. We were greeted by Christine and Peter who were lovely and made us feel welcome and gave us a tour. The views are amazing. There was a pool table in a separate location which was a nice touch, table and chairs and bread/cakes and all cutlery/showering equipment needed. Peaceful to sit out with very little if any passing traffic, orchards all around and a lovely swinging chair at the bottom of the garden where we sat out for a drink also. Ledbury is a 15 minute drive with easy parking and a nice unique village with some good book stores and fresh produce. There is also a Tesco for picking up food (there is a good sized fridge and a microwave also). We will certainly be back. Thank you both, Tom & Hannah.

    Tom2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Superb accommodation in a delightful location. A lovely touch was some home made egg custard in the fridge. Christine and Peter made us very welcome.

    Kath2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • A very peaceful and attractive rural location. The studio is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and thoroughly equipped. Christine and Peter were very welcoming hosts and provided extra touches that made our stay an exceptional experience.

  • Really amazing stay - Chris + Peter are very attentive, chatty + thoughtful, always on hand with extra info, local tips or offering more facilities. The cottage itself is lovely and had everything we needed, plus the hosts were always around to check in on us. Great location too, some gorgeous walks and pubs in the surrounding area (we did have a car to travel to Ledbury, Malvern etc). Would definitely come back!!

Close to the M5/M50, yet rural and peaceful. Just a few steps down the lane is Aylton’s historic 12th century church, which is definitely worth a look for its beautiful sundial at the very least. And there are so many walks in the surrounding countryside that we couldn’t possibly get into them all here. We do, however, have a very well stocked ‘library’ of walks, OS maps, guides and more – just delve in and find something fantastic to do. We are also close by to the Malvern Hills, Three Counties Showground, Hartpury College and Eastnor Castle.
  • A beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable cottage with everything you need to explore the surrounding area.

  • A delightful warm, cosy cottage in peaceful surroundings. A well equipped kitchen, comfy armchairs, an even comfier bed with good quality bed linen and also a bath to soak away the aches of walking through the lovely countryside. There's lots to do and see without travelling far or relax in the fair sized garden and let the world drift by.

  • Our hosts made everything incredibly easy. Beautiful location, cosy cottage with everything you might need, and very comfortable bed! When Ciara drove us indoors, this was a wonderfully warm hub in which to snuggle down. And when the weather broke, the meandering country lanes nearby were great to explore.

Set on the edge of Malvern it is convenient for the town and walks on the Malvern Hills. The Cider Press has one double bedroom plus a sofa bed in the sitting room. It has been recently renovated to combine modern facilities with character and charm and has WiFi and central heating. Plentiful safe parking.
The Cider Press has a private patio with table and chairs and use of the shared gardens that include a large pond, water fall and stream as well as a summer house and outdoor table tennis table.
  • Ruth is a great host, really welcoming and offered to upgrade our stay to better suit all the guests staying at Cowleigh Park. Farmhouse cottage is a lovely space, really nicely presented and lots of bedroom space. We had a party of 2 but cottage sleeps 6, felt great for us but the living area could potentially be a bit tight for a full house. Not that this matters as it is such a nice location that you won’t be indoors much! Convenient for Malvern town and Worcester plus up on the hillside so great walks with amazing views. Would definitely recommend!

Z shaped side tables have been made from leftover cedar stable wall panels, the rest have been combined with the elm floor boards to make the upstairs flooring. We are only a mile and a half from Ledbury with its lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. The Malvern Hills are a 10 minute drive away and great for a walk and lunch at the Malvern Hills Hotel. Eastnor Castle is also about 10 mins drive, with its maze, gardens and indoor tours of the castle.
We are in countryside surrounded by farms but also convenient for a five minute drive into Ledbury with its quaint shops, cobbled streets and lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants. There is a lovely organic farm shop two doors away where you can buy eggs and seasonal vegetables using an honesty box. There are also walks around the fields and down to the river so do bring your wellies!
  • Fantastic high quality accommodation Great views from upstairs balcony Superb bathroom - better than in most high end homes Amazing welcome pack Always warm inside even without wood burner on Faultless

  • The apartment is a real gem. My wife and I spent a wonderful 6 days here. There is a large living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, great views and a fireplace. The evenings in particular were very cozy. The apartment has been furnished with great attention to detail and is beautifully decorated. Furthermore, it was really clean everywhere, so we felt right at home. At the beginning we received a basket that was filled with delicious regional food. We were therefore warmly welcomed by Richard. Communication via airbnb was also great. The Malvern Hills can be reached by car in a few minutes and are great for hiking. Groceries can be bought in Ledbury or in the farm shop next door. We loved to cook with the fresh, regional vegetables next door. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended.

  • Such a great stay with spectacular attention to detail. It felt so luxurious and was completely immaculate and even had a lovely welcoming hamper. Amanda and Richard made us feel so welcome and gave us some great local recommendations and we even got to meet their lovely doggy - thanks for such a fab long weekend away, would 100% come back without hesitation in the future. Your place is amazing and in such a great location.

    James2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Haylofts was just as amazing the second time round for us! Amanda has created a wonderful and warm space that is perfect for couples amidst incredible scenery. It’s one thing to have such a beautiful listing but even more special to maintain its quality and magic every time, year on year! We look forward to returning again. Can’t recommend it enough.

  • After a very stressful journey ! It was wonderful to stop and relax at Amanda's and Richards beautiful Stables and Hayloft. Such a lovely place, a lot bigger than the photos suggest, lovely large bedroom, and amazing bathroom. We loved relaxing upstairs in the lovely living area, sitting on the balcony overlooking the duck pond and watching the housemartin's flying around. Amanda has thought of everything and the welcome basket and bottle of champers was a treat ! We enjoyed visiting the Malverns, some of the villages/towns, and popped over into Wales to visit Tintern, great time, and will definitely be returning to enjoy this fab place again.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - beautiful cottage, perfect for a cosy weekend in the gorgeous countryside, round the corner from the Malvern Hills. Thank you.

    Emilia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little cosy right at the start of some great walks along the Malverns. Extremely clean and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend Lois’s advice on where to eat and visit.

    Lara2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a lovely stay. Beautiful place which is cosy but spacious. Well equipped kitchen and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Great location in the Hills for walking and a nice local pub and cooperative cafe nearby too! We enjoyed walking in the hills on the doorstep and further afield too. The town of Ledbury is a must see and just a short drive away and it’s a nice shortish walk across the hills to Great Malvern too.

    Jon2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cozy cottage! We had such a relaxing time here , lit the log fire and got stuck in a good book :) the perfect getaway in the middle of the festive madness ! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful hideaway that had everything we needed for a truly relaxing getaway . Thank you Lois for a wonderful stay!

    Natalie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lois's place is great. Just as advertised and is a great starting point for multiple walks in the hills. Place was cozy, nice and clean, parking wasn't an issue and check-in was simple! Really recommend.

    Andre2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, stylish cottage in a great location for walking. Do take Lois's advice and make sure you bring some fuel for the woodburner, so you can make the living room super cosy on a cold, wet autumn evening! We greatly enjoyed exploring a new part of the country.

    Liz2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a characterful cottage in a great location for anyone who loves hill walking and the outdoors. It's really tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. A great selection of books (a cut above your usual holiday cottage fare) and all the mod cons, despite being a bijou little place! With all the Malvern Hills on the doorstep, this is a great place to stay. The host is very helpful and quick to respond, too.

Welcome to our family-friendly 'glamping' caravan in a quiet corner of a beautiful and unique farming community. A perfect spot for couples and friends, or small families, close to Ledbury, Hereford and the Malvern Hills. With compost loo and electricity from solar panels - an interesting retreat with a small eco footprint! Great for walking or enjoying the peace of a rural farming environment. For info search 'Canon Frome Court' on the web. It's only a caravan, but it's full of charm!
Chestnut Corner Van is for our friends and families and other guests to enjoy a beautiful, quiet corner of the farm, with views of mature trees and within reach of the main house. It’s a great spot for a peaceful stay, plenty of space for children to enjoy, and within sight of our lovely goats, chickens, cows and sheep! There is a small play area on the front lawn. The caravan is warm, dry, well-decorated and well equipped. It has a double bedroom, a self-catering galley kitchen (with fridge, small oven, toaster, kettle) and a fairly spacious and comfortable living area with sofa, tables and chairs and a view out to the fields. There is a bathroom with a hot shower. We cannot provide a toilet inside the van but we think you will enjoy our quirky compost toilet, a few steps away. This space would be ample for a couple or a family, with the children sleeping on bedrolls/mattresses in the living room. Equally if you are a large family you are very welcome to pitch a tent in front of the caravan for the children to enjoy the outdoor life in a safe environment.
We are set away from roads in the quiet hamlet of Canon Frome, it takes about 15 minutes to drive to Ledbury which is a nice market town with lots of independent shops, plus all you need in the way of supermarkets etc. Canon Frome Court itself is an unusual converted Georgian mansion set in it's own 35 acres which we farm organically. Please do look at our website for more information about us: www.canonfromecourt.org.uk
  • Annie’s place is lovely and clean, the heaters kept the caravan warm enough (in October). We loved the peace of the place and the children enjoyed playing out and the novelty of the outside toilet. Hope to come back for more than 1 night at some point. Thanks again.

  • Fantastic holiday, lovely hosts, beautiful location. Great base to explore Herefordshire and Wales!

    Hannah2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Another awesome stay for my family in the caravan. Plenty of space for the boys to let off steam and remote enough not to disturb the neighbours with their occasional tantrums! Thank you Annie and Judith for keeping the caravan so pristine and the community for tolerating my rampaging nephews...they are already counting the days till their return visit next year.

    Roy2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend in Annie's country caravan. Very peaceful, beautiful location, and the caravan had all we needed. It is basic accommodation but they make it very homely. Best part is being in nature and enjoying any farm activities that are happening. Very friendly and welcoming hosts!

    Fiona2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Chestnut caravan is pretty special. Situated on the farm, in a quiet, private area and surrounded by beautiful countryside, a warm welcome awaits you here. It’s basic yet stylish and very cosy. Outstanding hosts who would do anything to help.

Their place combines cosiness with all the mod cons you need for a lovely stay, whether it be to explore the beautiful countryside (Malvern Hills, Herefordshire cider and wine country...) or the great towns - Ledbury, Worcester, Malvern and Hereford are all splendid for pottering about. Donna and Charlie were really welcoming: nothing was too much trouble. And the space comes fully equipped - complete with great views! Good for cycling too.

  • Lovely and quirky place. Bigger than expected and the views are a fabulous bonus. Cassandra was absolutely wonderful with her communication leading up to our last minute stay, and she greeted us when we arrived to make sure everything was OK. The cottage has everything you need for a longer stay than the one night we spent, and the fact our dog was made more than welcome is essential for those with a canine family member. If you're looking for a base to explore the Malvern area with your pooch I wholeheartedly recommend Holly's Cottage.
