Seafood Restaurant
“Rated as one of the best fish and chip shops in North Devon and extremely popular with locals and visitors. During the summer months this place is rammed. You can't pre book a table in the restaurant so don't be surprised if you have to queue but its well worth the wait. The place is run by a local family (The Squires) and they are very professional. If you don't fancy a sit down meal, the takeaway next door is just as fabulous. You can use their click and collect service to save queuing. You cannot beat eating fish & chips on the beach watching the sunset”

“Just 5 minutes’ walk away from the cottage, Croyde’s famous freehouse is our favourite place to visit, with great food including breakfast, specials board, surf reports and live music throughout the year, don’t get bitten by the rattler cider, it’s 6%!”

Very popular with local residents. Recommend you book a table for evening meal or Sunday roast as it gets very busy.”

Café
“The tarka trail is great for family biking and you can rent bikes. There are leaflets in the kitchen with bike rental companies. We recommend cycling between Fremington Key and Instow, the Glorious Oyster cafe is set in the sand dunes and offers great seafood (It needs to be a dry summers day as outside seating only). Or in the winter the Johns of Instow deli offers delicious food too. ”
