“Best spot to be when the Sun is shinning! Lovely Food, next to The Vecht. Make a booking before you go! Nice for lunch or diner. ”

Steakhouse

“Loetje is THE restaurant for the perfect steak, of course with delicious gravy and white bread. A must, typically Dutch. Loetje is a very popular restaurant in Breukelen. If you have not booked, there is sometimes a waiting time, but when the weather is nice, waiting for the large terrace with a Dutch beer with some ' bitterballen snacks' is certainly not a punishment. ”

Museum
“The Vechtstreek museum is located in the beautiful nearby park Goudestein on the Vecht in Maarssen and is located in the former country house Silverstein which after the renovation served as coach house of Goudestein. The museum focuses on the culture, history and art of the entire Vecht region. Such as attention to the historic buildings and tea domes. There are special exhibitions and guided tours are organized both inside and outside the museum. www.vechtstreekmuseum.nl”

“A nouveau Greek restaurant that has modernized the classic Greek restaurant menu. The mixed hors d'oeuvres, served on a platter, are a memorable starter. In the summer there are a few tables out front on the Vecht.”

Point of Interest
