Park
“Brilliant local park with open space, wooded areas, a walled garden and refreshments including dog icecream available. Dogs are free to access all areas (on leads inside the two cafes) and the park is big enough to satisfy both dogs wanting four-legged playmates and those who prefer more solitary exercise.”

Beach
“Head to the beach, it's definitely worth a visit. If you like a busy beach then walk down from the centre of town and go straight onto the beach. If you enjoy a quiet beach, turn left at the Palace Pier or go to Hove Lawns. ”

Café

“This, quieter, end of the beach is our favourite spot for swimming and picnic lunches or suppers on milder days. There's a cafe that does great cheese toasted sandwiches and public loos on the seafront near the cafe which can be useful! Head for the dog-friendly beach here if you've a canine companion - or enjoy swimming with dogs (we love it!).”

“Get lucky and you will visit during one of the many food and drink events which are held here every summer. Some are free, some are paid, all are delicious. Non-event days, hang out here in the sun.”
