“This is our big art house in town. Its a nonprofit museum with changing exhibits in 2 wings. Half-price bottles of wine and open late (till 9pm) on Thursday nights. They usually have live music in the cafe or the performance space on Thursday nights. If you like slightly sweet whites, try their Chardonnay. I generally don't like Chard.”

“When you tell people you came to Southport, they will ask if you went to Provisions. This place is unique. You order of a blackboard menu, grab your own beer out of the cooler (on the honor system) and find a seat on the deck overlooking the Yacht Basin. They bring your food out yelling your name. Plan to wait during summer months and it is closed in the winter.”

American Restaurant
“For high-end dining, you cannot go wrong here. Our favorite night to go is Sundays when they do their "Beggars can't be choosers" menu. The menu indicates you pick seafood, meat, veggies, dessert, cocktails, beer or wine. Past that, you have no idea what you'll receive and you can't make suggestions or modifications. Super fun dining experience for those who are adventurous with no dietary restrictions. Pro tip: when doing "beggars can't be choosers" go right at 5pm when the doors open as spots are limited to the bar.”
