Flea Market
“What is it? A morning market at Burleigh Heads State School. Why go? Talented local creatives come together on the first and third Sunday of every month to sell vintage and original designer fashion, art, homewares and handcrafted furniture. Food trucks and great live music add yet more reasons to visit. I have made many (maybe too many?) great purchases at this market. ”

“Easily a locals favourite beach and close to another fabulous spot to walk...the Burleigh Head National Park. It’s about an hour to 2hrs to go right around and come back to where you start. You will get a beautiful view all the way down to Tweed Heads in the Northern Gold Coast. Lots of eateries along here or you can take your own bbq and use the free gas bbqs near the beach!”

Restaurant
“Jimmy Wah's is a Modern Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Burleigh serving delicious food from a menu designed for grazing and sharing. It's a culinary pilgrimage especially if you choose the 6 course share style Banquet which is offered on Sundays for only $45 per person, or with Bottomless Beer and Bubbles for $75 per head. There's a well stocked bar with carefully selected wines, Vietnamese beer, and unique cocktails. The restaurant is named after flamboyant character Jimmy Wah from hit movie Good Morning Vietnam, and a 2m mural of him even adorns one wall. The ambience is understated contemporary & the service attentive. Bookings are recommended PH: 5659 1180 Five Stars * * * * *”
