Southern / Soul Food Restaurant
“315 Somerset Street West - www.union613.ca - Union specializes in Southern cooking. The dishes are weighty and rich and flavours are full-sized. Service is warm and utterly unpretentious. Our favorites include the buttermilk brined fried chicken and the cast-iron skillet cornbread.”

Burger Restaurant
“Best little pub in the downtown Ottawa Byward Market. Not easy to find but once you have experienced the amazing french Canadian burgers and fries, you will want to come back again...tomorrow! Amazing menu, friendly staff, great value for the plentiful portions you will get. Please note...this is a small pub for locals, so you must go early especially on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings.”

Fast Food Restaurant
“I LOVE this place! It's SO GOOD! Grab a coffee, hot chocolate and a yummy beavertail. This place is basically an Ottawa landmark with a perfect location in the heart of the Byward Market. Especially popular with tourists from outside Canada these treats come in many different flavours and are always fresh as there is often a long line up to get them. Staff works quickly and prices are fair. If you visit Ottawa then Indulge your sweet tooth here. You absolutely must have a Beaver Tail if you're visiting downtown Ottawa. Delicious!”
