Theatre
“The Fugard Theatre, named after South Africa's greatest living playwright, Athol Fugard, is situated in the former District Six and is in close proximity to the District Six Museum. The theatre has a solid reputation for presenting work of the highest quality. Despite it only being 10 years old, the Fugard has raked in numerous awards and enjoys a reputation as a game changer in the theatre industry. Consult the theatre's website for the most up-to-date information on what is on. Bookings can be done via the website and you can even order a pizza or a light meal to enjoy before the show. The Fugard Theatre is the total package - great theatre in a stunningly renovated building and the friendliest and most professional staff in town. Do not leave Cape Town before you have enjoyed an evening out at the Fugard!”

“Signal Hill/Lula Lula Mountain, or Lion's Rump, is a landmark flat-topped hill located in Cape Town, next to Lion's Head and Table Mountain. The hill was also known as "The Lula Lula Flank", a term now obsolete. Together with Lion's Head, Signal Hill/Lula Lula Mountain looks like a lion sphinx. We recommend taking a picnic basket to watch the sunset here. Time your drive carefully so as to not miss the sunset. ”

Point of Interest
“An absolute MUST, you have to take a slow drive along Chapman's Peak Drive and stop at all the lookout points. There is a toll to drive the route if you want to go all the way through to the most popular lookout point, but it's worth it, just pay it. You do have to pay the fee both ways, unfortunately, but still worth it. If you're on a budget, just say you're going to a lookout point and then coming back, then it's for free (or so that was the case when I last drove there). Pack a picnic and take a break at one of the popular picnic spots. Please be careful if you plan to hike up the mountain, there has been a criminal element lurking there.”
