  • The house is very clean and roomy! Such a beautiful home and place to stay. Very safe area and close to the ferry if you're traveling across the river. Rene made sure that we had everything we needed and more. Her hospitality was outstanding and I hope I can stay again in the future. It's no surprise why her place stays booked! Thank you for everything!

  • Great space with a great view. I can't recommend it enough. There was tons of room, a nice big television for relaxing at the end of the day, and a kitchen to cook breakfast the next morning. Rene was very responsive to any questions I had and completely respectful of our privacy (we didn't actually meet face to face). Any time we need a place to stay near Williamsburg, this will be our first choice.

    Andy2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Rene's place is so spacious, has a great kitchen, a what a beautiful setting! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there with the great accessibility to Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg. The car ferry is only 1/2 mile away and it's free! The river lapping outside the door was so peaceful and I wish we'd had time to sit there as well as use the kayaks! If you are traveling to this area, don't miss Rene's place.

    Heather2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rene is such a great host, down to every little detail of what you might want or need. Such a beautiful place with tremendous views of the river. There is so much to do in Willliamsburg and Jamestown, we could have stayed a month.

    Mike2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay--quiet, lots of space, terrific view of the river, close to the Jamestown ferry. Rene and her husband made us feel welcome and were quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. It was nice to cook a meal and then eat it on our own porch looking out on the river.

    Debby2016-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rene gave us a warm welcome to her beautiful apartment. The apartment is on the ground floor of a large Virginian brick house and has its own patio overlooking the James River; a stunning view. Birdlife abounds, with hawks, vultures, a stork and even an Eagle. As quiet and peaceful a spot as you could wish for. Naturally this means that there are no shops or ameneties within walking distance but there is an excellent seafood restaurant a mile away. The (free ) Jamestown ferry is a few minutes drive. The apartment is big, light, airy and luxuriously appointed, with a huge bed, lovely bathroom, full well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting area. We loved it!

    Robert2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rene was a wonderful hostess! She thought of everything we needed. Her space is amazing! It had a beautiful view of the river with a relaxing private patio, and very clean and comfortable room. We would definitely stay again!

    Jordan2017-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • The studio apartment was great. It had everything we needed. They were very welcoming to us bringing our 1 year old. We just may have to return. Great overall deal!

Furnished mostly with antiques, this 1870 home has lots of comfortable charm. Enjoy life in the slow lane in this quiet village.
  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Serendipity! The hosts were so gracious and hospitable! When we arrived they were helpful. Scott carried our luggage in the house and then gave us a full tour of our guest room and bathroom facilities. Our room was warm and inviting; the 19th century antique decor and furnishings were delightful! We were then offered a delicious homemade pie and hot beverage. In the morning our hosts provided us a delicious breakfast including eggs, bacon, and blueberry muffins. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling through Drewryville, VIrginia.

    Rick2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The only thing that exudes more Southern charm than this well-appointed, lovingly restored historic home is the hospitality of its hosts.  Set in a quiet village right off of I-95, the house with its eclectic collection of antiques was a surprisingly delightful break from hours of highway driving. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the hosts' family ties to the house. Our hosts were very responsive to our requests and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

    Pat2017-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Scott was a very welcoming and kind host. We arrived late and he prepared some food for us after a long day of driving. A beautiful historical home that makes for a great overnight just off of I-95. Very quiet and comfortable as well!

    Gregory2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Scott and his partner were fabulous hosts. They were very flexible with our arrival and check out times. They even provided breakfast and pineapple coconut pie. We really enjoyed talking with them and would definitely stay again. The house was beautiful and exceeded expectations. They even provided toiletry amenities for the bathroom like shampoo, lotion, etc.

    Elle2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed more than a few times and feel like welcome family.. I love the house and hospitality.

    Kathy2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed everything about my stay! The quiet country location, the comfy bed/bed linens, the shampoo, bath wash, hair dryer amenities and the outstanding hospitality. Scott's freshly made pies and tea where the perfect antidote for a long drive under rainy conditions. Breakfast (eggs, bacon, fruit, orange juice and pastries) was delicious and the conversation stimulating. But they really out did even southern hospitality when Ronald set me up with one of his own cat's odor eliminating litter boxes and extra litter for the rescue kitten I was transporting. These gentlemen are thoughtful, kind and generous hosts that made the weary traveler in me feel at home and well cared for. They have my highest recommendation and my continued patronage.

The Beaton-Powell House (1857), a two-story plantation house bearing classic Greek Revival characteristics, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The available guest room is still decorated in wallpaper selected in the 1920's. It includes a full private bath, and many amenities.
The available guest room was Frances Powell’s bedroom. The spacious front room is still decorated in wall paper that Frances selected in the 1920’s. In the summer, it overlooks a sea of pink crepe myrtles that were transplanted from the nearby Powell farm to the side lawn in the 1940’s. The room has its own heating/air conditioning unit, mini-refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, table and chairs. The room contains a Stearns and Foster queen-sized bed with fresh linens, a comfortable twin bed, a cozy reading chair and an antique desk. The full private bath attached to the room features the house’s original cast iron pedestal tub and a separate shower. Also included in the guest room is a television (17 channels and Netflix) and wireless internet access. The room still boasts the old wide (restrung) blinds installed by the Powells; these do not necessarily block out all light that pours into this south-facing room on a sunny morning. The guest room does not feature its own separate entrance, but is accessed by ascending the grand staircase in the large front hall.
  • Lisa's home was (URL HIDDEN) was beautifully decorated and she was a gracious and helpful host - even when the door locked defeated me! She was sweet enough to even share some yummy pumpkin bread for breakfast. The room had amenities to spare. My only regret was not taking a long bath in the beautiful old tub!

    Lauren2015-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is a very nice hostess. the town is very quirt, the house is old but comfortable, the dog and cats are very lovely and friendly. Lisa provide much snacks for us. A good restaurant named Hungry Rooster is just 200 ft on the opposite street. my 10 years old daughter was very happy to stay there, with the pets.

    Yanhong2015-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Before I even arrived, Lisa made me feel welcome with helpful and friendly messages. Beaton-Powell House is gorgeous and the ownership is thoughtful and considerate. My room was cozy and packed with everything I could have possibly needed - and more! I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed all its beautiful details. Truly a wonderful experience.

    Ashley2015-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Lisa is great. The home has all kinds of antiques and collectibles. Wish I'd had more time to look at everything. It's amazing how much of the restoration has been accomplished. Can't wait to see the next phase. And clean, ALL of the bedding is washed after every guest. The town is like going back 50 years in time. Great vibes!

    Margy2015-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was amazing! The room we had was huge and cozy, and the air conditioner worked amazingly. The private bathroom was fully stocked and open to us, the fridge was loaded, and there were coffee and snacks available as well. Lisa was very personable and welcoming, I felt very at home as soon as I arrived. She also has an amazing dog named Ellie who hung out with us in the morning.

    Dylan2015-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house is beautiful and has so much character. It was awesome pulling up to the driveway and seeing a big handwritten welcome sign with our names on it waiting for us on the door. Check in and check out are super easy and convenient. Lisa and her pets were the best! She is very friendly and you can tell that she will really go above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable. The bathroom had so much character and the house reminded me of my old home. I highly recommend this experience to get a great sense of what Airbnb is all about!

    Elizabeth2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was very welcoming, gracious in every way. She provided a fine self serve breakfast in our room with fruit and beverages as well as information about the home and area. The historic home was very interesting with period furnishings. We enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about history of the home and area.

    Nancy2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • I tried to arrive in daylight but traffic held me up. I felt at home as soon as I turned the key and found my way easily with Lisa's signage in her absence. Lisa had provided me with fine dinner ideas so I could eat before arriving late. Had a great meal at her suggestions. I eagerly anticipated the claw foot tub awaiting me, as described and pictured in the listing. A cold beer or glass of wine and soft drinks, plus snacks were in the suite for guests. The accommodations were very clean, imaginative. Along with very comfortable mattress. I enjoyed coffee on the porch outside. Breakfast yogurt was available. I had a great morning rendezvous with Lisa as she toured me through the house. It is as enchanting a set for a movie as you might find, and so is Lisa! Ellie, Willy and Paula all had supporting roles if you are lucky enough to catch them. Willy even offered to check my tire pressure before I got back on the Interstate!.

  • I had a long stay here, for a work assignment. It is a very charming old house! The bed was pretty luxurious, and I slept incredibly well. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee and snacks. The house is about a 3 minute walk to my favorite restaurant in Emporia, 'The Bank '. And Carlissa was such a kind and responsive host. I hope to stay again on my next work assignment.

    Tim2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Carlissa was a great host. I stayed at this location for 4 weeks and she would come in once a week to change sheets and tidy up. They also had a drawer of toiletries in case you forgot something. My only complaints would be that it's an older building so there was a little bit of a musty smell. Also the water tastes a little funny but she left plenty of bottled water in the fridge for me.

    Hannah2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay after long drive down I-95. Everything well prepared. Our son really love their toys ;)

  • Our stay was wonderful! We appreciated the list of nearby eats, and it's such a convenient walk to many stores and local eats. Lovely space, and Carlissa is great at responding quickly and solving anything that comes up.

  • Great place to stay for a road trip. Charming, comfortable apartment and Carlissa was a responsive, hospitable host.

  • This was a great place to stay. The location was very convenient and easy to find. Carlissa was very good with communication, even though it was a last minute booking. Our kids loved the toys and having some space to play after a long day of driving.

Enjoy the privacy of the RV, sleeps 5-6. Sixty minutes from Virginia Beach. Either relax or you can help with farm chores. Horses are fed 6:00 am, noon and 6:00 pm. We also operate a horse drawn carriage service where you can reserve a romantic ride.
Country setting, but we are close enough for day trips to Virginia Beach, Colonial Williamsburg, and Theme Parks.
We are about 1 mile from the village of Holland in the city of Suffolk. Our small town has one restaurant, Dollar General, hardware store and a local automotive repair shop. Our area produces peanuts, corn, soybeans, cotton and wheat. We grow organic hay on our farm. There are several restaurants 15 minutes drive: Georges Steak House Al Fornos Italian Joe's Pizzia Casa Doras Santa Fe Grill
  • We had a lovely stay at the RV on the farm. Cindy and her family were very sweet and helpful. The RV was clean and quite comfortable. Stocked with drinks and snacks. We will come back sometime!

  • Great first time experience with Airbnb! We wanted something different when heading down to Virginia for a short vacation and stayed at Cindy's RV for 2 nights. Loved it. The RV is really nice with lots of room, plus shower and kitchen. She even included snacks and drinks in the fridge, freezer, and cabinets. We were greeted by Lucy who was an amazing little hostess who showed us around the RV and the property. The horses and doves were really neat, and the property was relaxing. Some great stargazing at night! Next time we'll take some vaulting lessons! Thanks!

    RV Living on the Farm!

Looking for peace & quiet in a pristine, immaculately decorated oasis in the heart of a burgeoning downtown?! Then look elsewhere ;) What you'll find here is a comfortably clean, lived-in house, with a couple of super open minded, welcoming hosts that are eager to make you feel at home and included. We like our cocktails and food and relish the opportunity to share with our guests. Small town unpretentious comfort is what we offer, if that sounds good, we'd love to have you over.
A casually clean house that feels like you're visiting friends. Our grumpy shy pig may greet you at the door, hopeful for a treat (or the opportunity to sneak out while we're preoccupied greeting you) with the dog barking noisily by her side until you come in and she gets to meet you, she's a lovebug. While we adore both of these girls, you are absolutely welcome to lock them both out of your room, this is your vacation afterall and we want you to enjoy it. Once you make it to your room, you'll find a queen sized bed with fresh sheets and a clean "Jack and Jill" bathroom with any toiletry you might need at hand. Flat screen tv with subscriptions to Netflix, hulu and amazon prime is also in your room along with wi-fi. Tucked in the corner you'll find a coffee bar with an updated selection of a few brews you may enjoy, a Keurig and all the usual coffee fixings. Occasionally, our parrots will remind you they too are a part of the back drop by breaking up the silence - loudly. If uninterrupted silence is what you're after, this is not the place for you.
The town? Tiny. We have a quaint little restaurant across the street that opens early and serves a mean breakfast but their dinner scallops are my favorite, oh and their corn nuggets are a classic country staple that I always enjoy when I visit. We're also in a perfect spot to commute to Murfreesboro (where Chowan University is), Ahoskie, Franklin, Roanoke Rapids. They are all between 15-40 minutes away.
  • From the moment we started messaging, I knew that Cindylee would be friendly. I was received warmly even though my check-in time was not ideal. Expectations were clearly laid out from the beginning, and the House was neat, warm, and inviting. They tailored everything about my stay with little personal nuances and were just all around AMAZING!!! It’s hard to be away from your family for any amount of time as a parent, but they made it so much easier and relaxing. I will NEVER stay with any other Airbnb and get the same experience!! They spoiled me!

This modern log home has never been lived in. The home is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Paved parking and there's a large semi-wooded lawn. Within one minute of I-95 and gated for your privacy. I-95 is visible from the home.
Easily accessed for I-95 yet private. *The interstate is visible from the home and there is a low hum of traffic.
  • Cabin was amazing. Beautifully decorated, well appointed, snacks, coffee, info.

    Gina & Terry2015-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic. The log home was accurately depicted, very clean and there were plenty of beverages and snacks. The location makes you feel secluded, but on the other hand, you can hop on the interstate in a matter of minutes and escape quickly to your destination. The log home has a paved parking lot and was gated, which made it that much more sophisticated and secure. Last but not least, Jonathan was an exceptional host as well. He was reachable before, during and after the trip and he provided certain allowances. As long as Airbnb is around, I will never stay at a hotel again. Thanks Jonathan...from one host to another!

  • Honestly the pictures do not do this cabin justice, it is absolutely beautiful. The host is great and definitely makes sure that his guests feel at home. It is a great spot for couples, very romantic atmosphere. My man and I stayed here for Veterans Day weekend, we are both active duty so this was a nice get away spot for us to kick back & relax. Overall we have no complaints, we both would recommend this spot to anyone, it is truly a gem. Thank you Jonathan!!

  • Great place, hosts very generous with amenities .................. Amazingly clean.

    Jim2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan was an incredibly welcoming host and saw to every one of our needs. The home was beautiful, a little closer to I95 than I expected (if interstate noise keeps you awake you may want ear plugs) but I'm a sound sleeper and didn't have any issues. Jonathan was quick to respond to any of my questions and really made us feel welcome.

    Peter2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a beautiful house. I thought it looked even better in person than in the pictures. Jonathan was a great host and responded to our needs quickly.

    Enerel2015-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan was extremely prompt in pre-arrival communication and during my sister's stay. We booked their place as their wedding night gift before they made the drive to Florida. They even answered a 6:30 am call as they locked themselves out and he even sent me a message he got them on the road. My sister and brother in law loved the cabin! Everything was just as described. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property. Thank you for everything!!!!!

Great Executive Rental Private 2 bedroom home with outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Ideal for those wanting a short term or extended stay rental while working or visiting with family in the Ahoskie area. Convenient to Vidant RCH, Vidant Wellness Center, Creekside, Nucor, Perdue, Enviva, GEO, shopping and restaurants.
  • My husband and I, visiting from Niagara Falls, stayed almost a week in this lovely house. It was clean, nicely decorated, and was well supplied with everything we needed. It was a great meeting place for nearby family to gather for meals, hanging out and monopoly games. The outside space was wonderful. Loved using the swing and table and chairs were perfect for morning coffee. If it had been alittle cooler, we certainly would have had a cookout and used the grill. The location was very convenient. In the future we will check the house's availability, before visiting family in the Ahoskie area. We have stayed at Jernigan House and Flanagan House and Hardison House in Edenton on previous visits. All were wonderful!! But at this house, we had a special place for everyone to gather and have a great visit. Thanks to Debbie for helping make this visit a pleasure.

Private, secluded, unplugged river cabin. One bedroom, one and half bath with a loft. Located on the Roanoke River, famous for its fishing near Historic Halifax. An outdoorsman's delight with plenty of open space. Come watch the sunset on the river while fishing off the pier and getting back to the basics. The property also includes a grass airstrip. Country living at its best!
Our cabin is located within minutes from Historic Halifax known for its rich history and antiques. Sylvan Heights Bird Park in nearby Scotland Neck is home to the world's largest collection of waterfowl. Medoc Mountain is a short drive away. The Roanoke River in nearby Weldon is known as the rockfish capital of world.
  • This was a wonderful little private spot on the Roanoke river. It's quite and peaceful. Make sure to bring your fishing poles!

  • We were unable to actually stay at the residence due to the amount of dust and humidity in the house. However, the house is true to the pictures. A warning that there is no cellphone service and it took us about 20-30 minutes to get cellphone service back after we left the residence. Kaitlin was willing to work with us and responded to us with in minutes of us messaging her.

    Pamela 2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved the place! Too adorable and just like the pics. It was a steep climb down to the dock but the dog loved swimming in the river and the claw foot tub in the cabin was too charming! Bring bug spray and you have everything you need!!

    Courtney2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is in an idyllic setting on the Roanoke River. It is very private and secluded. It has basic cooking supplies and linens. Nice loft to star gaze. Lovely covered porches to enjoy a river view. It is great if you want quiet and to be away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The hosts made checking in and out easy.

  • This cottage is truly a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The décor is beautifully done, and the furniture & beds are very comfortable. The towels are plentiful and wonderfully thick. Denise has a great eye for design, and she keeps the guest house amazingly clean. This little cottage has quite an interesting history which was fun to learn about. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby Merchants Millpond State Park, a truly unique place! If you are looking for accommodations in this northeast quadrant of the state, you couldn't find a better place to stay!

    Gary2015-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful, restful spot we found in such a rural area. Denise and Jack were so friendly and accommodating! Jack even picked up dinner for us on his way home from work since nothing local was open. The banana bread was a delicious addition to our morning coffee after such a comfortable nights sleep!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this clean, well appointed home and its owners! We would definitely stay here again if in the area!!

    Laura2015-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Denise gave us a very detailed instruction to self check-in before we arrived and thanks to that we checked in ourselves without any problem, though we arrived very late at that night. The house is extremely clean, tidy and comfortable. It made us feel like being at home. The banana bread was the most tasty bread I've ever had. The house is really commodious inside and quiet outside. It's a perfect place to get relaxed and refreshed, especially for those who are tired of the crowded and noisy big cities.

Glamping! Cedar Dam has a beautiful cabin with electricity, A//C, access to a hot outdoor shower, and access to the fish house with a summer kitchen. Home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Enjoy fishing in the stocked lake, paddleboard and boat rental too. The Cabin is in the woods, therefore there may be woodland creatures including, but not limited to, deer, birds, squirrels, spiders, etc nearby at any time. Be aware the outdoor shower closes when the temp is below freezing.
22 acres of pristine countryside with manicured paths for wildlife watching. Home cooked breakfast is available, ask host for pricing and options.
Great for history buffs, located near Pamplin Park and old town Petersburg.
  • Maude's place is a rustic retreat in a quiet setting. A couple things to note: your GPS will take you to a gravel road that you will follow until it forks. Take the right fork and follow that until you see the fish house on your left. Your cabin is a little further down on the right. Also, the outdoor shower is connected to a different house; it was fine but we had assumed it was connected to our cabin. The outhouse is very clean but be sure to bring a flashlight! The lake is delightful and the swan is beautiful!

    Becky2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Maude is so very accommodating! Her space is clean and quiet. The setting is serene. This is a must stay!

  • So much to say- not sure where to start. Finding this house was a blessing for us. We were PCSing out of state and needed a place for half a month after we moved out of our house. This place was 5 minutes from our old place and VERY clean and spacious. I love vintage so this place was right up my alley. My husband even liked it although he usually frowns at anything that’s not brand new. The house was exactly as described and if we had to do it all over again we would change a thing. Staying here made our last few weeks in VA comfortable and convenient. Would definitely recommend.

  • This home is great for a large family. Very cozy and conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants and highways. Virginia Beach is an easy drive 45 minutes away. This house gives guests an authentic historical experience from the antique pewter cupboard to the fireplace in each bedroom. Two of the 3 bedrooms have mosquito nets around them, and the last room features a comfortable canopy bed for when you decide to call it a night! These are upstairs bedrooms with a 400 sq ft Great Room and one full bath. The great room has cable tv, mircorwave, 2 burner stove top, etc... We are close to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown (Virginia's History Triangle), Smithfield, Virginia Beach, Richmond, airports, local plantations (such as Chippokes Plantation, Shirley Plantation, etc...), parks, art/culture and much more.
This space is good for Surry Nuclear Power Plant workers as we are 12 miles from the plant.
Surry County is located across the James River from the historic sites of Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. It is centrally located between Richmond, the Tri-Cities and Hampton Roads. Several historical plantations are nearby. My home is four miles (five minute drive) from the Jamestown Ferry. The ferry ride is normally about 20 minutes and is free.
  • Keith and Sabrina were excellent hosts. The place is spacious and comfortable. Ideal location for visiting Chippokes Plantation State Park and for the ferry to Jamestown.

  • I'll keep it nice and simple here by listing the reasons why I would recommend staying at Vicky's place: 1) Hands down, Vicky is a great host. Her attentiveness and wonderful hospitality easily made our trip a better one. She will take care of you like you are her friend! 2) Her place is charming. It's clean inside out and nicely decorated. The bedroom is spacious, as well as the private bath. We particularly fell in love with the backyard garden where Vicky planted a beautiful array of flowers. And if you're like us, who enjoy hanging out in the back porch for that fresh air, bring a mosquito repellent! 3) The neighborhood is equally lovely with streets lined up with historic buildings, local shops and restaurants. If you'd prefer a quiet and peaceful scene, then you will like Smithfield. Overall experience: 10/10. Would stay again!

  • We had the best time at Vicky's! As a new resident of Smithfield she helped me get the lay of the land and helped welcome me to this cute town. The location can't be beat, and the room is very homey and the friendly pups were just the cherry on top!

  • My 11 year old daughter and I loved our weekend getaway in Smithfield! Vicky went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even had decorations in the room and on the front door for my daughter's birthday! The house is just a block away from Main St and lots of restaurants and shops. The Saturday morning Farmers Market was wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to go back in the future!

  • Vicky's place is simply wonderful. She went well beyond what was expected to make our stay with her memorable and enjoyable. Her home is lovely, and she is a fascinating lady with so much to share with her guests. We highly recommend her place for anyone visiting the Smithfield area.

  • Our stay at Nana Vicky's home was so lovely! Nana Vicky is such a warm and cheerful hostess and our stay there was beyond our expectations! If we are ever back in Smithfield, we will try to book our stay with her again!

Why pay more for a hotel room when you could stay in your own studio apartment. Full size bed(memory foam), 3/4 bath, and small kitchen. Separate entrance to apartment. Walking distance to Smithfield Inn, Smithfield Center, and Windsor Castle Park.
Hardwood floors. Completely furnished with dining table, chairs, and desk. Memory foam mattress, Wi-fi, and Keurig Coffee machine for your use.
Apartment is located in Historic Smithfield. One block to Smithfield Inn, and Wharf Hill Brewing, and a quarter mile walk to Smithfield Station, Windsor Castle Park is only one block away allowing access to miles of jogging and biking trails. Perfect for walking to Smithfield festivals or a date night. We are also four block away from the Smithfield Center, an easy walk for wedding receptions, etc.
  • I've stayed in a number of Airbnb places, and this was probably the nicest. Granted everything is brand new, so that really helped. I loved the bed! Slept very well. Pictures are very accurate. So if you can't climb stairs, then it won't work, but if it doesn't bother you, then this place is awesome. Will be back if I'm down in the area.

  • I've stayed at places that are occasionally rented (but someone lives there too) and places that are rented full-time on AirBNB. This is the latter -- and it's way better because the space is uncluttered and ready for you. Justin's coach house apartment is perfect for a couple or small family. There is only one bed but also a couch and air mattress. Very clean and very modern (much more than I would've expected) and he even had a full set of toiletries available (toothbrushes, etc.). Very nice host and perfect location in Smithfield (which is very tiny).

  • Modern and clean in a beautiful historic area.

  • Beautiful space in a great location. Short walk to shops, restaurants, and a Saturday morning farmers market. Very quiet and peaceful at nighttime. Loved our stay!

  • Forget hotels! This experience was fantastic. The quaintness of the furnishings, the amenities of hotel, stepping outside the sterile typical hotel furniture and floor plans was over the top.

  • Perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful Smithfield.

  • This was our first air bnb experience and we were really happy about it! We were in the area for a wedding at the Smithfield center and were able to walked to and from easily, and the apartment was actually roomier than I expected! I definitely recommend this place!

  • Justin's place is clean, modern and spacious. The place had minimalist yet classy decor. Everything was as described. The location is perfect to walk around town (we walked right out into the Farmer's market Saturday morning). Even though we didn't meet the hosts, they were really responsive via texts and suggested places to eat and explore around town. Check-in/Check-out was flexible and easy. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Smithfield for short/long stay.
