“Over the years, Brunetti in Carlton has become one of Melbourne’s most iconic places to visit to indulge in a delicious Italian style coffee from the Bar, cake from the Pasticceria, gelato or tempting savoury from the Paninoteca. Plus kids eat for free! Kids can choose from a Kids Margherita Pizza, or a Kids Pasta – Malfadine Napoli or Malfadine Bolognese with the purchase of an adult main meal from the Menu. Available to children up to 12 years of age, Monday – Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm at Brunetti Carlton, 380 Lygon Street, Carlton. ”

“BEST COFFEE!! If you're going with two people, order a hot coffee and then order a cold coffee (iced coffee). Taste both and be blown away. Be sure to buy a bag to take home. You will have withdrawals! ”

Bar
“Great restaurant and bar just a street away - there's the front bar, dining hall and there's a grungy upstairs bar as well. Definitely go for the Captain's Burger!”

Pizza Place
“One of the best pizzas around. Quirky hidden gem only the locals know about, away from the touristy Lygon Street. Fresh and authentic. If you want to eat pizzas, we could not recommend this place enough. But for pastas, head to Lygon Street. It's right beside a park so you may even want to get takeaway pizza and eat at the park instead. Expect to spend between $18-35 per person and it's usually crowded if you go at peak dinner time.”

“[Australian Cafe] This is a typical Australian brunch place but with a twist. Go and find out yourself. The dishes are not only beautiful, but equally delicious. Try to make a booking during the weekend.”

Turkish Restaurant
“Anyone who are visiting Queen Victoria Market have to try the warm, crispy and juicy borek. The bonus is one borek only cost you $3.5. There are two favourite fillings : spicy lamb and spinach & cheese. Try their smooth & juicy gozleme as well. The size is just right, so you will still have vacant spot in your tummy to sample other delicacies in QVM.”
