Located right off of I-95 between mile markers 104 and 98, between Fredericksburg and Richmond, VA. This is a small, practical studio apartment in the walk out basement of our organic family farm. Quiet, natural surroundings with woods to explore and fresh organic vegetables/eggs available for purchase. We aim to have as natural and organic home environment as possible with fragrance free personal products/detergents. Local attractions include the Meadow Event Park and Kings Dominion.

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

We have done an entire renovation inside and out keeping luxury at the heart of everything we have done. 10 minutes from Kings Dominion will make our home the perfect weekend get away from some rides balanced with fishing and nature walks. Relax in this peaceful, stylish space for one, located north of Richmond.
