Central Maine USA! Lakeside, Nature Lover's Paradise-NICE FUNky Camp: Quiet, BBQ, fish, boats, hike, bike, firepit play/sporty/leaf peep, ski, snow tube, & ice fish. Boston 3 hrs, near Portland. Romantic Get A Way, Rustic Retreat: can sleep 4-up to 8 See MANY Pics, great kitchen, hot shower and a claw foot tub upstairs in the bedroom- ahhhh! so sorry but No Pets anymore, please.
FUNky, COMfY, cozy, Big Wood stove.. NICE Old Camp!!..."Nature Lovers Paradise- Lakeside" is a popular, comfortable and very cozy FOUR SEASON Camp...sleep, BBQ, right on the water's or ice edge! Has a lakeside setting, Outdoor kitchen, 4 burner Gas BBQ, Big Wood Stove, a computerized furnace, DISH TV and a dishwasher. A Really Cool very Rustic Camp centrally located for 4 Season fun and other Maine attractions. Not only hiking and biking nearby, close enough to drive to both ocean, hiking trails, and ski lodges. Plus other sports like: snow tubing, X country ski, ATV.. or walk/ snowmobile from yard, lake or road onto nearby trails plus more. Very convenient.. too much fun to imagine! Or just plain veg. out and just plain do relaxing, cook, play games, watch old videos during cooler/wetter weather times, or go eat out! "WE REST YOUR TOES WHILE YOU REST YOUR (URL HIDDEN) this comfortable, perfectly imperfect sort of cluttered ole camp!" Only 3/4 hr. No. of Portland, ME. USA (Portland is a granola-like, ocean side city with a Jet Port) What to do? Lots: This popular.."perfectly not perfect, little ole camp" is on a nice LITTLE lake, that fast freezes, in the winter; unlike Thompson and Sabago lakes. IT IS NOT CROWDED WITH BOATS or jet skies, IN THE SUMMER EITHER. Since it is centrally located in Maine ...the drive times to attractions are 05 minutes to about an hour and a half +/-. At the camp: water play, row, canoe, beach, fish, wood fires, (scubba diving/wind sailing lessons booked ahead.) Inland you can hike, bike, go climbing or snowtubing, x country ski/snowshoe on Carters X country ski trails (15 kilometers of trails-with a warm up lodge, store and equipment rentals.) In addition...Ski nearby at 7 locations: Lost Valley, Shawnee Peak, Conway (Tourist Shopping, Mtn. Climbing and Ski Cranmore Mtn.,) Mt. Abrams, Sunday River Ski Resort, a day trip to Sugarloaf Mtn. is hearty; but I go, and it is my favorite resort and ski area. Snow Tubing is down the road a piece. It can be fun at night too; if coming in Fri night from the South, you can snow tube enroute in Windham, ME. At the camp, right out the door of my camp... I walk, x country ski or snow shoe on the lake, the dirt roads, or into the forest. You can snowmobile from here too, to the Casino, they say. There are some snowmobile woods trails- a short quick drive or walk up Rt 11 from my driveway. The snow mobile trails are usually packed and good for walking/snowshoeing/or X country skiing a few miles too.. I can also go skating if someone clears the ice off. Outside on the lower deck is a deck side fireplace chiminea, for sitting around on cushioned lawn chairs and basking in the summer or winter sun. Being on the lakeside in any season is so..beautiful when the sun pours in, to relax. There are many local restaurants (5 min. pizza, half hour/hr. almost anything you want) within many driving times for decent food so you do not have to cook in all the time. Yet, I have a fully equipped kitchen and there are three grocery, convenience stores, etc. 10-20 minute drives. Inside the Nature Lover's Paradise camp, enjoy: Dish TV, and a great big video library. Play video, DVD and music CD's, lots of games and cards, a grecco crib, kids toys. Feed a cozy wood stove. WIFI and modern appliances? YES! Hope this begins to help with your planning. A lot more description details follow. The place easily sleeps four, has 7 beds (3 beds sleep 2 people.) The cost is up to 175 per night and sometimes lowers (May 2016 through April 2017) plus a 65 cleaning fee. A 100 deposit is held on your cc about a week before arrival. When you book, you pay in full by cc plus some small AIRbnb fees. Since I do not know those air fees I can not quote them to you. Look for Air fees on the screen. After staying here, If you thought this camp is or is not a good value, I hope you will let me know?! At initial inquiry, please include your estimated number of guests. Note, after you book it, I can alter your number of people and pricing up, if your initial planning numbers are too low. ( ie: before arrival that day- if more people are going with you..it is ok, just communicate about it with your Host upon arrival.) Note: If the Air calendar says the dates are available feel free to book it without asking me first. If I have a rare issue I will simply Decline the booking and or do a discussion with you. If you can not pay now, ask your Host to reserve the dates. OK? Thank you! More planning details: You have just discovered a 1907 East Shore piece of PARADISE in the famous Poland Spring Area of Maine, USA. It is a cozy 1907's renovated camp; surrounded by "old growth pines and water." It is easy to get too. It's situated on popular Tripp Lake. On maps Tripp Lake is referred to as "Tripp Pond" But locally everyone calls it Tripp Lake. It is only a 3/4 hour North from Portland, it's 10 minutes from a Casino, and 15 minutes plus, to many attractions. (more details further on) For 67 years, our family's camp has slowly been maturing into a nicer little cottage, resting its old timbers only 22 feet from the water/ice. A "Great Place" for booking your vacation week, short stays, week end getaways or retreats. More about what to do there? This camp is centrally located between several great places: The drive time is 05 minutes to about an hour +: You can snow shoe on the Carters X country ski trails nearby (15 kilometers of trails , and 2 hrs. to Sugarloaf for Regee week end in late March/April spring skiing times! Many concierge services can also be available with pre-discussion and agreed upon additional fees. ie: Cooking, pick up at station or Casino .....just inquire, discuss and pay. How could I help you relax and safely arrive in a strange place to you? RELAX is the word here. Easy Does It! Enjoy the OUTDOORS and the hu ge old wood stove's heat for fun. For some people the brain shift to doing some camping and breaking the everyday routine is relaxing. This fun and funky place can do that for you, but you will have to leave the critic at home and bring a sense of humor: there are bugs, electric switches in strange places and clutter so do not tell the world in a review, please. If you are reaading this, the world already knows. Please do not hurt my ratings with criticisms...please go someplace else if you do not want a nice, campy, feeling! I do not advertize Luxury, I advertise Funky! This Lakeside camp feeling includes: THE site for EASY CAMPING METHODS: running lake water, hot running water, shower and tub, modern appliances, soft carpeting, wood beams, wood stove, computerized furnace, many beds and a lot more. "Lets camp and, deal with camp kind of stuff-just do something different! " LET"S HAVE SOME DYNAMICS! It is so PERFECTLY "not perfect," camping with the "fun in funky" that's still alive. Think of this central location this way: This "Nature Lovers Paradise-Lakeside" location is a four-season rest and recreation camp. You can easily STAY and PLAY or Go and PLAY. You can STAY and swim, water ski, canoe, kayak, hike, bike, ATV/UTV, X Country ski, skate, BBQ, cook, read ... do a lobster feed etc. Or GO AND PLAY to nature walks/golf at the Poland Spring Resort's course, walk the Preservation Park Nature Trails, do Agriculture Family Fun stuff, eat out, summer playhouse theaters, gamble at Oxford Casino, tourist shop Freeport, Portland or Conway, Portland Lighthouse, drive to the OOB pier & ocean/arcade, do snow sport day or night ski trips to Sunday River, Sugarloaf Ski Resort (s), Shawnee Peak, Lost Valley, Conway, tourist the White Mtns (N.H.), go to Fryeburg Maine's huge Country Fair (end of Sept), Plus, close to the cottage is the Poland Spring's STATE PARK big sandy beach(URL HIDDEN) Today Non Potable Water: Though certainly "A Chef's Paradise for cooking supplies" and cooking gear....we are used to the camp's cooking and showering with, but do not tend to drink, the LAKE WATER though; right now. The Owner Does Supply lots of fresh spring water... or feel free to bring your own label. This cottage and its running tap lake water is located on top of the famous and pristine Poland Springs aquifer's healing waters area. This camp is named "Nature Lovers Paradise- Lakeside!" You would be staying at a site between lake water, with a camp and other buildings with wood piles and stuff. It is up on slightly higher ground from the lake. A vernal pool: with bullfrogs, fairy shrimp and a bird sanctuary are behind the camp. Eventually, way out back are woods and higher ground. It is a somewhat of a perfect Feng Shui landscape site for resting. For summer, keep in mind that due to many breezes people say "this is NOT a "mosquitoes galore " buggy kind of place at all. All camps have bugs. But we are not one of the real buggy kind at all. Yippee!! Enjoy all kinds of Nature's critters and plants. Fish from the dock, and if you see a flea inside, feed it to a frog outside. (Just kidding of course.) Be real about camping expectations though. Please arrive and depart with an attitude of gratitude about Nature's little creatures. Try to leave your professional critic at home or in the office. The owner humbly wants you to know that simply due to the NATURE OF CAMPING please come prepared for a "true nature of camping." It is not perfect or uncluttered here. There is no tar, or grass to mow here. If you are a "tuned in reality camper," then great! The cottage yards are not only bright in the morning, as it faces East for Morning sun, it faces West where Sunsets are Born. The clutter is part or the character and decorations. Enjoy, Nature Lovers Paradise Lakeside... With its' East Shore setting...159' waterfront beach area, a dock, canoe, kayak, typical sandy bottom, lake grasses, sandy beach in season, fishing and lakeside views. Relax with 3 DECKS/ 5 grills: one large deck on the West side with charcoal and gas BBQs, a gas hotplate and running water double sink, an East side deck with a breakfast cafe table and charcoal BBQ. The 3rd lower level deck over the waterfront area (or skating rink,) has a deck fireplace and chairs. The lake and wharf style dock accommodates your water ski boat. Plus a big lakeside fire-pit gives the wood burning smells of camping.Yet, indoors the modern gas range ups your camp into a fully equipped cottage kitchen. Atmosphere Description: A single lane, wooded, private gravel drive curves toward the camp in a family, vacation minded neighborhood. Professional, family style NEIGHBORS, other renters, and the workshop, sauna, ice fishing house, and owner's bunkhouse/office- studio are close by. People, including the owner, quietly come and go. Synopsis: It is a private driveway, yet there are other buildings and people nearby doing stuff: campfires, fishing, swimming, boating, relaxed campfire talking, laughing, fireworks, children noises and mostly pretty quiet fun playing around types of activities. It is a "close/caring" and friendly neighborhood type of atmosphere, with weekly changing groups of company. In addition are the joyous sounds of the ELITE "Tripp Lake Camp" from across the lake during July and August only. Your yard/beach area feels pretty private in relationship to the many buildings around it. You are not in the wilderness. But if you want total privacy/wilderness...See my 2nd camp in Buckfield, Maine USA listing on Air...Nature Lovers Paradise - Mountainside! Right now approaching Summer it is very quiet. Summer and the forth of July week is the noisiest. Though a private setting, due to large yard and 156" total property beachside, it is usually a lot more quiet Sunday night on, during the week and after Labor Day weekend through leaf peeping season. • This hidden gem exceeded our expectations in every way! Cozy, beautiful, a perfect spot for a retreat with friends, with several beds that are so close to the lake that you almost feel as though you might roll right into the water if not for the glass window. Trudy clearly puts so much love into the cabin and the land, and we could feel it every moment we were there.

    Sasha2013-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy was a wonderful host and the cabin is fantastic. The views are gorgeous and the camp is so well situated on the lake. We had a great time hosting a BBQ and playing in the water. The kids enjoyed canoeing. I highly recommend Tripp Lake and Trudy's camp!

  • This house is the absolute best. A getaway gem, fully stocked with anything you might need to escape into heaven. The lake the house is on is gorgeous and the house comfortable can accommodate a good number of people. Trudy is so sweet and a very hospitable host. She was considerate and flexible and always willing to help us.

  • Perfect place for nice-calm vacation!! Will visit sometime again!! Trudy is great host!!

    Dhanendra2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy is an A-1 host. We arrived in March for the weekend with plenty of snow. We had everything available that we could possibly need for amenities. We were welcome to use any of her personal supplies. She made sure we knew where everything was. The cottage was clean & warm. We loved the antique woodstove, and all the cozy places to lounge. She went above and beyond to accommodate us-including shopping for an ingredient I had left at home. The place was just what we needed for our family to reconnect. As soon as we walked in my daughter said "This is exactly what I always wanted". There were maybe 3-4 snowmobiles on the pond which we could not even hear at all. The restaurant nearby Mac's Grill, 10-15min away was excellent. The 5 of us wanted to go there both nights the food was great (must try the coconut shrimp & onion rings no one had a bad meal). They told us 45-60min wait but only waited 10-15 both nights. The teens watched DVDs upstairs and adults watched Dishnet TV downstairs. The dock was just beautiful. The view is scenic-not just other camps across the lake. The only complaint would be that not all the beds were soft. Have to try them all out first. Thank you again, Trudy!

    Patricia2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful getaway! Upon arrival we found that Trudy had prepped the cottage with a roaring fire in the woodstove and gave us a great tour of the cabin's layout and quirks (which proved to be an immensely helpful orientation) before leaving us to enjoy the camp. The space is well stocked with everything you'd need from relaxing with some reading, a game, or some movies to cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and relaxing with the beautiful view of Tripp Lake out the kitchen windows. While we were visiting over New Years, we were able to get outside and found the lakeside roads perfect for our morning run. But the camp itself is well stocked for waterborne activities as well. We look forward to having another opportunity to visit in the warmer months and enjoying the space with a group of friends and family.

    Roger2015-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy hosted a sizable group of us with a relatively last minute booking, and was very flexible and accommodating. She was very communicative, made sure we knew how to operate everything in the house, particularly the wood stove. Her place was cozy, fun, and very well outfitted with cooking supplies. The lake is stunning, and the cabin is truly right on the water's edge. All in all it was a great trip, and we would be excited to return in the summer!

Beautiful, private home in Casco, Maine with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The home includes three floors of living space, a fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. Look out over the beautiful lake, take a canoe to the island and look for loons, grill or toast marshmallows by the fire pit, jump off the swim dock, fish, or just relax with friends and family...

  • We had a wonderful time at Terez's lakehouse. We stayed for 7 days around the New Year's, 2 families with 2 small kids each. The house is beautiful and located right at the lake. The views from the living room are fantastic and the house is just a short drive away from many great walks and from Sebago lake winter and summer activities - we went for walks every day. We also loved the fireplace on cold winter nights! The house is very clean, has a very well equipped kitchen, is well organized and has everything we needed for our extended stay (minus perhaps a washing+drying machines) including even boardgames :). The communications with the hosts were excellent. Terez provided us with lots of great information about the house and the surrounding area and answered all our questions very quickly and in a very helpful way. We can highly recommend staying at this lakehouse.

    Adam2015-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The location & the house is amazing! Had awesome time with my friends! Fishing was great, swimming, kayaking, grilling everything you need for a great time with family and/or friends. Loved the island in the middle of the lake for paintballing, had a blast! Will defiantly come back. The host was great! Simple and Pleasant:)

    Sergey2015-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had a wonderful time. The house was cozy, beautiful location, clean, all the amenities. Very happy! Terez was super responsive and offered lots of tips on what to do during our stay. Thank you!!

    Lizzie2015-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Terrible experience. We didnt feel welcome at all. The house was dirty, uncleaned from ptevious guest, Host didnt even inspect the house before and wasnt aware of that cleaning wasnt done.Beds were unmade, towels were on the floor of the bathroom , bath tub full of hairs. House had terrible odor

    Muneera2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This house on the lake is amazing! Very spacious house over 3 levels & plenty of room for our family group of 5. Two large living areas, one with TV & one without which was really good. Two bathrooms, also great for larger groups. Well equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, coffee maker and even a food processor. The BBQ grill outside was great too. However the best part is the stunning view of the lake which is divine at any time of the day. Very peaceful location with neighbours a good distance away, you feel like you are in a treehouse. We went canoeing (red one only, the other leaks), swimming & had campfires around the fire pit complete with s'mores. We played board games & cards (loads at the house) out on the deck while overlooking the lake. We didn't meet Terez as it is a holiday house but all communication was very efficient & helpful. We did the walk up Rattlesnake Mountain which was about an hour an a quarter round trip with great views at the top. Had wonderful lobster rolls at The Galley Pub. An utterly superb 5 days which our family thoroughly enjoyed. None of us wanted to leave.

    jane2015-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Terez has provided plenty of information ahead of our stay and responded immediately on additional questions we've raised during our stay. Additionally, she even checked out whether the heavy snowfall before our arrival would have affected the house in the one way or the other. So we were perfectly prepared to stay at this generous house at this lovely little lake as described on airbnb. We can absolutely recommend to stay at this nice house. Tourism infrastructure in the region is probably better for spring, summer and fall but one have to acknowledge the record snow we've had during our stay. Just that only few walking trails (with fees) were accessible during our stay but it was still very nice, and the white lakes scenery great!

    Peter2015-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • It's the perfect place to stay. The house is great! It is big, it has an awesome kitchen (with all the necessary pots and pans), a lovely fireplace, good beds, a fine bathroom and incredible views over the lake. It also has all the amenities where one may ask for, and has exactly the feel you wanna have for an great outdoor weekend. You feel the love of the owners.. that sums it up. Whether in the winter or summer.. or whatever season: we definitely hope to come back!

Stunning lakefront executive home with private, sandy beach sits on coveted Sebago Lake in Naples, Maine. This 3800 sq. ft home accommodates between 10-12 people and is perfect for any family/families looking for a relaxing getaway. Three floors of living space provide separation for multiple families. Each bedroom has a private attached full bathroom. Short walk private sandy beach known as 3rd beach for visiting friends/residents of association.
Sitting on over 100 feet of lake front, our home has access to over 55 square miles of lakes and waterways. Undeniably the lake is the primary attraction, however there is so much more do do in the surrounding area...
Quiet mature neighborhood with close access to golf, Sebago Lake State Park and the Causeway in Naples.
  • Leslie was super responsive. House is beautiful - was big enough for our party of 12. Very clean and everything works well. The stones on the front entry way were loose and Leslie emailed me about it to let us know -- she also taped off the area to make sure we knew where to step. Only disappointments were the fireplace wasn't working. We were also excited to see there was a hot tub but that also was out of commission. Great stay - fabulous views of the lake and a well taken care of home.

  • Beautiful lake setting with lots of space for everyone.

    Jan2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Out stay at Leslie's house was great. The perfect place to spend a weekend with some friends. Enough space and bathrooms for 12 people. We really enjoyed our weekend and would recommend this house at any time.

  • Leslie was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. The house is spacious - perfect for a multi-family getaway. Close to a beautiful beach, and the view and access to the lake from the home is easy and perfect. Idyllic!

  • Right on the lake. Fire pit for nights. Very spacious. Great place for a big family.

  • The lake house was perfect for our group of 12. House is quite spacious, nice big bathrooms and very clean. Leslie communicated quickly and was able to accommodate all of our needs. Great for kids as well.

  • This is a lovely house, on the lake, in a private community. We rented after Labor Day so it was very quit which was exactly what we wanted. The house is large, more than enough for a big part but didn't feel overwhelming for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The layout is open and comfortable. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have their own balconies so every morning you awake to a view of the lake. The lower floor has a nice sitting a area, a couple of games (Air Hockey and Foosball), a walk out patio with a trail that leads to the private dock. The first floor has a very comfortable entertainment area, deck, and great view of the lake. Leslie's photos provide a very accurate description. Just across from her driveway is a path that leads to Witch's Cove, this is a private beach owned by the HOA and as a guest you have access. One of the islands just off the beach has a nesting pair of Bald Eagles. We could see the nest but not the birds. The beach in the cove is clean and has some nice sand. Again, we were there off season, after summer and pre-leaf peepers. Some of the local attractions like the mini golf course and some of the restaurants on the causeway were closed. There is still a lot to do. We rented a pontoon boat for a half day (FYI, Leslie did offer a very reasonable rental of her boat for the week but we just wanted to cruise for a day.) We also took a day trip into Portland, about a 40 min drive. Although some of the places were closed for the summer there are still a bunch of great places to eat or grab an ice cream. Leslie is a great host, very responsive. Her description and pics on Airbnb are 100% accurate. In fact maybe she undersells it a little. The house delivers everything as promised. The location is great, easy to get to, and easy to get to places. We had an awesome time and will rent from her again. Joe

  • Leslie's place was perfect for our few day get away to Maine. The camp has one of the best locations on the lake- quiet and at the top of the lake. Plenty of room for couples/family to have space and privacy. The outdoor space is also very convinient for fun in the sun and entertaining. Would love to return!

  • This was a beautiful home, in a beautiful location. The views were gorgeous in the morning, and the outdoor space was very serene. The two dogs on the property are very friendly. The few and minor cons included the dusty dishes and pans, and the uncomfortable beds. We only stayed one night and were very tired upon arrival, so this didn't put us off too badly. Having lots of hot water in the shower also made up for this small pitfall. There is one very comfortable king bed to fight over (: Lastly, the group was awoken by animated yelling coming through the walls around 8am.. we never quite figured out where it was coming from.. Lee greeted us with smiles and suggestions in the morning and was accommodating throughout our stay. I would recommend this space to a group interested in exploring the area and the outdoors!

  • Rustic and comfortable. Lee was very helpful throughout our stay. There are many things to see and do in the area. If you're a birder, this is a very good spot with lots of species and easy viewing.

  • this was a wonderful and homey place to come back to at the end of the day. Although parts are still works in progress, the feeling and comfort in this place out weigh any of those parts. Lee and Rebecca are kind people who you can just tell have wonderful hearts and make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you love quite solitude. Although we did not have a chance to explore the property we hope to be back to be able to get out on the water. It is enough to say that we look forward to being able to return for our next trip out to maine.

  • Lee is a gem of a person. Enough said; right from the moment we saw her first smiling face as we drove into the Rippling Water Ranch Stone Cottage, right until the moment we left the place with heavy hearts and lots of gifts, which Lee was so generous to shower us with. Her hospitality and services are of utmost caliber, she is as professional as one can be. The listing description cannot be farther from truth, the stone cottage has a lot of character within it and the place was very spacious. The biggest USP of this place is the backyard with a huge pond at the backyard with easy access to kayak, and fish. The neighborhood was quiet and the solitude was absolutely stunning. The best part of our trip was the camp fire at night, the sky was absolutely magnificent and Lee did not leave any stone unturned to provide us with everything we needed for setting up a good camp fire. Club that with some good barbecue fun in the backyard and kayak/boat in the evening was a deadly combination. As good and kind as Lee is with the adult interaction, she is impressive with the kids. All the kids in the family were huge fans of Lee and were desperate to meet her after we left, she had a lasting impression on all of them. Lee is as generous with her actions as she is kind. We can’t wait to be back, Lee and everyone in the group misses you. Good luck with everything !!!

  • Lee is truly a great host who make you feel very welcome at her cottage. She had many helpful ideas of things to do and places to see and we always felt very welcome.

    Jeremy2015-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • The neighborhood was exactly as described. The home is in a very rural area surrounded by plenty of private forest with a nice large pond. There is plenty of space for a large group and the living room has a great fireplace. The downside is the furnishing. The furniture is pretty worn down. Also, the one bathroom with a shower is a little rough.

    Ralph2015-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • First off, I would like to thank Lee for being an incredible host or our trip. She was extremely helpful all the way up from booking until completion and was constantly making sure that we had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. Next, I can't even begin to describe how amazing Stone Cottage was. If you're looking for a weekend to unwind, this is definitely where you want to be. Kayaking, hiking, lounging about, having a bonfire, you can do everything just a few steps from the front door. True hospitality and the finest that Maine has to offer can be found right here at Stone Cottage. Thanks again, Lee, it was an amazing trip.

A classic 16 room bed & breakfast set on a knoll overlooking the beautiful lakefront village of Naples. Just steps to the causeway, marinas, restaurants and entertainment. Enjoy the view from our expansive front porch before retiring to a newly renovated guestroom complete with a private bath and comfy new bedding. Yummy breakfast, flat-screen TV, ac and WiFi included.
  • The Inn was very clean and recently renovated. It's conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. We had originally reserved a queen room, but since they weren't crowded that night, we were offered a king room instead. A wonderful surprise! Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious- fresh fruit cup in a chilled glass, lemon poppyseed bread, omelette made to order with cream cheese and chives, home fries, and toast. Very generous and outstanding! Coffee was ready at 6:15 for us early risers. We had a very nice stay here.

  • The hosts were great and the house was awesome! Great location for a great price, definitely worth it

  • Tim and Sharon's property is amazing and extremely well located. We loved staying their and their hospitality was amazing. The lake is absolutely breathtaking not to mention the bald eagle show we were able to witness from the paddle board and kayak they made available to us. When in Maine we know where to stay.

    David2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and as described/pictured. Tim & Sharon also include little things that you might forget while rushing to pack for a weekend getaway! And there are plenty of towels and other things to vacation comfortably. Tim greeted us shortly after we arrived and oriented us to the fire pit, dock, lake, etc. He was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed sitting around the fire, canoeing in the lake, swimming, and relaxing at the house. Very lovely all around and we may come back next year when the weather is warmer! :)

    Julianne2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very peaceful setting very near the water! The screened in porch is perfect for your morning coffee or evening drinks. House has AC units in each room but we hardly used it as we opened the windows to let the cool breeze through & that was enough. Would definitely stay again!

    Tricia2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay! Very comfy cabin and really great location. We took a five mile canoe ride and were able to get to great hiking very easily. Would highly recommend.

    Morgana2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • The house was really wonderful. Very clean and had more than everything that we needed, plenty of dishes, some condiments and spices, coffee, etc. It was decorated very nicely and had a great screened in porch. You can see the lake from the house, the area is very private and secluded, but only a little less than an hour from Portland. We would have stayed and had plenty to do in the Sebago Lake area, but my children had never been to the ocean before so we took them out that way. My sons are already asking when we can go back to stay at the house and I am looking forward to that as well! I highly recommend staying at Aerie Sebago.

    Meredith2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is cozy and comfortable and in the perfect location to enjoy the Sebago Lake area. Tim and Sharon made finding the place and checking in and out super easy, and left some nice touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in the area.

    Hannah2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Tim & Sharon's apt over Labor Day weekend with 7 adults and 1 small child. Place was very spacious and open with an eat-in kitchen. Was very comfortable with that many people in 2 bedroom apt. We enjoyed our stay as we had lake side access right across the street. We sat on the dock every day and enjoyed the lake, swam, used canoes and stand up paddle boards which are included with your stay. We recommend this place as it was very relaxing and a beautiful place to stay.

  • Nothing negative to say, it was a great time and great house.

  • Our communication and overall experience with Sean was great from the moment we inquired about booking the house. He was very accommodating the day we checked in and was very generous with check out. The house itself is campy yet charming and cozy, exactly what we wanted for our three year old boy and dog. Screened in porch was perfect for meals. Didn't watch any TV but the wireless Internet came in handy. Our weather was perfect all week so we basically lived outside on the dock or private beach by day and the campfire by night. The house came with tons of outdoor supplies - kayaks, canoe, pedal boat, rafts, life jackets, chairs, towels etc etc. We used the kayaks a ton and explored the entire lake. The town of Naples was very close and fun. Also hit the White Mountains for a day hike. Great location, great trip, and a very nice host. Hope to be back again!

    Summer2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Sean's place. The boats were great to have and it was the perfect spot for us right on the pond.

    Andrea2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Close drive (~1 mile) to pleasant lake where the water is nicer to swim in or to take a boat out. Do your research for stuff to do in Casco before you go, and bring an axe as well, as some of the firewood made available for use needed to be split

I am opening another room on the second floor in my home, for up to 3 people. This room, which we call the Sewing Room because it was my mother's sewing room before we renovated it, is a large, sunny room with three single beds. My preference would be to have it rented at the same time the India Room is (the original 'Cottage Industry for Retired Teacher'), so that families could be together. As it shows in the picture, the three beds are made up of a pull-out couch and two Castro convertibles.
This room is on the second floor of my 1834 New England farmhouse.
  • Jani is a nice host. She and her cousin were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there!

    Dennis2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience with Airbnb. Jani was fantastic. Right from the start she communicated with us. I told her why we were coming to Maine and immediately she gave advice for different things to do with my 10-year-old daughter. The house is beautiful, in a very quiet neighborhood, with very close access to the lake. They were parking signs for us, when we entered the home there was a note for us directing us how to get to our room. It was like a treasure hunt for my daughter. In the room was a lovely, personal welcome letter. Jani offered all of her guests free access to the kitchen along with anything in it. That included the coffee machine, a fully stocked refrigerator and freezer, and the washer and dryer. In the morning she made cinnamon rolls and coffee for her guests. She was very accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend Jani's home for your next visit to Raymond, Maine.

    Qiang2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived late and left early, Jani's was a great place to crash for the night. Even though we left shortly after 6 we still got some homemade breakfast - missed out on the scones she was baking though unfortunately. :(

    sean2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Location: Was perfect for us. Right on the main road and close to Bridgton. Place: The room was spacious and felt set off from the main house. There was a full functioning kitchen and spacious bathroom for guests to share. Very homey. Jani has the space filled with thoughtful touches: baskets with anything you might have forgotten. Some towels, extra blankets and chocolates in the room. She even had dog toys waiting for our pup! There’s a fenced in garden area in the back that we absolutely loved and utilized for our dog’s morning stretch Host: Jani is incredibly sweet and a wealth of information. She has a facinating life story and we really enjoyed speaking with her. That being said, she is very intuitive, knowing when to be around and when you need privacy. She really is an amazing baker, making us fresh sweet potato pecan cake and blueberry lemon scones. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

  • Great stay

    Christopher2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Jani's house was a great experience! She was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating with last minute changes due to my travel schedule. The room and home were so welcoming and prepared with anything I could need. The home was easy to find and Jani places very useful signs throughout the home to make you feel confident with navigating since it's a large home. The homemade breakfast treats were also a lovely surprise after a very long day of driving! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip if at all possible!

Large farmhouse apartment overlooking Pleasant Lake. Includes large kitchen, full bath, W/D, large enclosed porch, wood stove in LR, amenities of small village. Property abuts public beach. My apologies but not right for pets. Also I want any inquires to understand-my pricing reflects demand. Obviously I am not going to rent a beautiful apartment on a lake in July and August for the same price I rent it for in April. My base is 70.00 but please check the calendar for price fluctuations.
Property abuts the public beach. Sub/ice cream shop with good food across the street. Also a great country store with wine beer coffee, very good pizza and breakfast sandwiches! yum yum

  • Waking up to a beautiful sunrise was one of the most wonderful things about my visit to Sharlene's wonderful home. There was plenty of room and very, very clean.

    Ann2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Sharlene's pad was perfect for a quiet retreat in the middle of spring. Not only is it a beautiful ride to her home, her home is equally beautiful (and just as she describes it). A plus is that Sharlene let us use her row boat and quickly responded to my texts. Thank you Sharlene!

    Caiti2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very spacious, and looks as in the photos. The lake view is beautiful. The house is right on the road, which I wasn't expecting, so it's not as secluded as I had pictured. But still very quiet. Sharlene gave good directions and was very prompt to reply to messages. We only stayed for a short amount of time and did not get to meet her.

    Shreya2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sharlene was an excellent host. She made sure we were comfortable and even told us how to use the wood stove at 10 in night! The apartment was beautiful and a pleasure to stay in. We will gladly stay again at sharlene's place

Luxury lake house on tranquil Panther Pond available for year-round vacation rental. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating, and relaxing with friends and family on 2+ acres of secluded lake front property and more than 200 feet of pristine waterfront. Everything about this property is BRAND NEW for 2017! We built this property from the ground up with: a beautiful, luxury, custom home; extensive landscaping throughout the property; brand new furniture and linens; and professional decorating.
House Details: The house has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps up to 16. The floor-to-ceiling picture windows overlooking the water offer incredible views of Panther Pond in every season. There are also full or partial views of the lake from almost every room in the house due to our position on a peninsula. The house is just steps away from the waterfront and the lot slopes gently down to the fire pit and dock for easy access to the lake. Water Frontage and Entry: The water near the property is crystal clear and excellent for swimming or boating. There is a sandy bottom that starts at wading depth by the shore and gradually deepens to about 6 feet deep at the end of the dock. In addition, we have a small sandy area with granite steps next to the dock as an additional entry point into the water. There is a mooring available for guests that choose to rent or bring a boat Guests of Raymond Retreat will also have access to the Hawthorne Beach Club, a private sandy beach on Panther Pond about 8 minutes from the house by kayak or canoe. Amenities: We have taken great pains to ensure the house is stocked with everything you can think of for an enjoyable stay, and we are always open to suggestions from our guests on items we can add to continually improve each season. We also provide full linen service included in our weekly cleaning fees. This means we provide bath towels, swim towels, and all bed linens (including quilts and covers), which are professionally cleaned and turned over offsite after every rental. We do not ask our guests to spend hours washing linens before checkout, or to make their own beds at check-in after a long day of travel. Our cleaning and laundry services take care of everything for a truly turn-key experience. Some other unique amenities you will not find in every rental property in the area include: onsite trash pickup, so there is no need to cart your trash to the end of the driveway or anywhere else. Our trash service will come right to the house and empty bins in the garage after your stay; We also provide a full supply of firewood for your stay. There is no need to stop and haul firewood to the house or even down to the fire, we keep a large supply onsite and make sure there is always a pile set up near the lakeside fire pit; Basic consumable supplies -- we always make sure to have at least an initial supply of items like trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap, detergent and other basic supplies available for guests, so you can settle in before running out to the store. Our goal is to make sure your stay is as relaxing and stress free as possible, and we are just a phone call away if there is anything else you need. Please Note: Our property turnover day is on Fridays during peak season, which means check-in and checkout times will only be scheduled on Fridays. This allows our housekeeping staff to dedicate their full effort to ensuring Raymond Retreat is in excellent condition for the next renter, rather than rushing to turn over multiple properties on Saturday.
Raymond Retreat is the quintessential Maine luxury lake front camp. Sitting on 2.5 acres of beautiful lake front property with excellent outdoor and indoor space. Very secluded property with convenient access to town and shopping.

This summer home is a beautiful place inside and out great location on the waterfront of a perfect picture pond. Wake up to the loones and start your day with a canoe trip. Great place to get away from it all and just relax. Coffee pond is the deepest pond in Maine and is great for fishing. Lots of hiking nearby and 20 minutes from shopping amenities.
3 bedrooms possibly 4, sleeps 10 comfortably. Access to two kayaks a canoe and a paddle boat also floats to just go out and float on the beautiful pond. Only one bathroom. Big front space to play horseshoes and have a nice campfire.
The cabin is 20 minutes away from shopping.
  • Nice cabin on a beautiful pond, a very quiet and relaxing trip.

  • The Rough Cut Lodge was the perfect place to go for a long weekend away. It includes all the fun activities you'd want at a cabin in Maine- grill, campfire, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, dock to jump in the crystal clear beautiful water. The spacious decks with hammocks overlooking the water were enjoyable and great when we had a short rain shower. More than enough space and very clean. Pamela is a great host. All around we were extremely happy and would love to visit again. 10/10 for sure!!

    Samantha2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best properties on Coffee Pond. Beautiful and tranquil water; caught a fish in under 5 minutes. Enjoyed using canoe, kayaks, hammock Etc... Visitors should be aware that there is a very busy and sometimes noisy boys summer camp a few doors down.

    Tom2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was lovely and cozy. It comfortably slept 7 of us and the surroundings were beautiful. All of the necessities were provided and the cabin was in great condition. The yard was large and provided a good spot for hanging around a fire pit or playing lawn games. Would love to return!

    David2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place was awesome! The view was fantastic. The water was so clear and calm. It was amazing waking up and hearing the loons and we were able to watch them swim around. Even our dog loved every second of being there! We highly recommend it and would definitely go back again!

    Mike2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described..a rustic cabin in the woods. The beds weren't made and it wasn't exactly clean but we had a great time and there were linens so that I could make the beds.

    Carla2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Rough Cut Lodge is the perfect place for a Maine vacation! It literally checks all of the boxes - swimming, canoeing/kayaking, s'mores around a campfire, hammocks on the porch. Pamela is also an amazing host and was super responsive. A couple of notes: You can't drink the tap water, so while the host generously provided a 5-gal water dispenser (which lasted 4 of us about 2 days), I'd recommend bringing add'l bottled water if you have a large group or are staying for a longer time. The house would absolutely sleep 10 comfortably, although 2 of the queen beds are in the same room and there is only a single bathroom. Overall - 5 stars, would absolutely go back!

    Kim2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • A fun weekend right on pond. As advertised - rough cut lodge. The backyard is great with awesome fire pit. Basement bedroom could use some sprucing up with a bed frame if you're planning on using all bedrooms. We had 3 adult couples and 3 children, so we pushed it a little bit with packing too many people in given the 3rd bedroom. Otherwise, Pamela responded the only time we texted and we felt safe and in a respected home. Could use better instructions with expectations for how to get rid of trash/use barrels. Thumbs up and a great place if you're looking for a quiet weekend on pond.

Spacious large cabin in the woods close to many summer activities. Sebago Lake and State Park are less than 5 minutes away. Perfect landing spot between Portland and North Conway attractions and access to many activities nearby.
  • The house was cleaned and prepared for us. It is a very remote, quiet property and easy to find. Perfect family getaway!

  • What an amazing space on the crooked river! Check in was super easy, the house was very clean and tidy, and it was super friendly to my 2 year old niece. My friends and I had an incredible time being so close to Naples and all the causeway had to offer, but also far enough to back that it was incredibly peaceful and serene. You're winning at life if you choose to stay at this wonderful space.

  • Great getaway in Naples!

  • We arrived to a lovely welcome from our hosts. The yard was beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating and a great hot tub. The house was clean, spacious and welcoming. Very tranquil, private setting. Highly recommend Sebago State park for great swimming, which is just minutes away. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • Very comfortable, clean, updated home! Lori was easy to communicate with when we had a question, always available quickly. We brought our kayak and enjoyed the easy access into the Crooked River from the property. Swimming was possible in the river and the Sebago Lake state park was very close by with a beautiful beach. There is a lot to do in the area, both in Naples and Bridgton. Great home for families, my granddaughter loved the bunk bed. We would definitely stay here again!

    Gayle2016-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Lori's home. We were visiting Naples for a blues music festival and the location was perfect. It is secluded and private with lots of yard area and surrounding woods to explore. The house has plenty of room for a family and is very welcoming. Lori is a great host. We actually rented her other smaller cabin on the property but she let us know the week before that it sustained winter damage and she offered this house instead. One note of caution is to not use GPS as it will take you to a campground across the river from the house. Once you get there though the directions are easy. Laurie gave us "live GPS" the first night when we made this mistake. If you are looking for a family friendly place within a short drive of lakefront activities I would recommend staying here.

  • Stayed at Bill's lake house property for a family vacation (5 nights), we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning and wine/beer in the evening. The views of the lake from the house, deck and dock were awesome. The house & cottage were clean, beautifully decorated and was a very comfortable place to stay. It was nice that Bill left wine and cheese for everyone to enjoy. Bill was quick to respond to my questions and he checked in with me after we arrived to make sure all was well. I highly recommend staying here!

    Carolyn2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a dream come true! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! House was beautiful inside (pictures were very accurate) and the view of the lake was 5X better than the pictures. We used the kayaks and the paddle board. We brought lawn games and sun bathed on the deck. We had breakfast on the back patio every morning with a gorgeous view of the lake. Bill was great with communication and answering all my questions. What an incredible time. My friends and I are having serious withdrawals. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

  • This place is really awesome and kayaking was great. We totally enjoyed staying here. Bill is amazing and quick to answer our queries.

  • I stayed at Bill's lake house property with a group of friends and we had the best weekend! The photos posted in the profile accurately depict the property, which has a cottage as well as a main house. The place was sparkling clean when we arrived and Bill had left us some wine and snacks - a very nice touch! He was quick to respond if we had any questions and was very accommodating. We highly recommend staying here and hope to go back next summer!

Come, relax and have fun on beautiful Sebago Lake. This one bedroom apartment with fully stocked kitchen is located across the street from the lake, on the north west corner in a quiet cove.
We are only 10 minutes from the Naples causeway and 30 minutes from North Windham (major shopping). Great lake swimming and boating all summer, and 3 miles from Sebago State Park and Nason's Beach. In the autumn enjoy the spectacular foliage, and we are only 40 miles from North Conway and the White Mountains. In the winter enjoy cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing or snowmobiling on the lake or on the many trails close by. For downhill skiing, Pleasant Mountain is 25 miles away and Sunday River is only 47 miles away. And of course in the spring the fishing is fabulous (license required for all fishing).
This is a summer community with neighbors nearby and on the lake. We ask that you respect their privacy.
  • This was such a lovely apartment. Our guests were warm and welcoming and the lake was exactly the relaxing environment I was looking for! Five stars!

  • Great little apartment right across the street from lakefront properties on Sebago Lake. Quiet, tranquil setting , very clean and well furnished apartment. Comfortable, clean beds, nice kitchen and bathroom.

  • Martha's place was really nice. When you walk in you can find the living room, the bathroom and a really nice and well dotated kitchen. The room is located upstairs and it is really cool. My boyfriend and I went during the cold weather and the heater was just perfect. The place is really clean and charmy. Martha's family (his brother living next door) was so helpful and polite. About he neighborhood: it is an amazing place with a beautiful lake just crossing the street. Also you can find a lot of trails to hike next by. We couldn't meet Martha but she was clear giving us the instructions and making us feel like home. I really recommend this please. I can't wait to go back again.

  • Staying at Marthas lovely appartment in The nature suroundings was a true pleasure! The appartment had all The basics we needed and shopping was 15 min. Drive at a cozy holiday village, also by The Lake. The stay lived up to our expectations + extra, since The Lake was more than we could have hoped for to swim and cool Down in. A true summer escape destination to recommend! Nextdoor in same appartment building lives Marthas brother With his family, they were Nice and much helpful to make a fire in The evening and give The needed guides to The area. Also in The appartment was arranged guide selections With activities, shopping, seightseeing ect. Very proffesional.

    Sara2016-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The location was almost ideal. We had a wonderful stay. the only downside was the bed not being very comfortable and the public lake access not actually being very public. After walking down a few stairs you are faced with the lake (and it's beautiful) but all you have is said stairs. there's nowhere to walk along the shore, just the bottom of the steps and then water. On the other hand the lake is clean and beautiful, the apartment is clean and spacious, and the hosts Gloria and Cushman are an absolute pleasure. we would definitely stay here again.

    Haley2016-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Martha was great, she gave me instructions for arrival and contact information and responded quickly when I had questions. The place was very big for a place that can sleep 3 and is two levels. There is a nice balcony outside which was nice to drink coffee on. The lake was beatiful.

    Stephen2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay - Apartment was extremely clean and larger than expected! It has everything you need! My only complaint was a personal preference that the mattress is firm, but we got used to it. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was so wonderful, I would be happy to stay here again!

  • We had an amazing stay with Marlee at the Northern Pines BnB. She was a wonderful, kind host. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is on a beautiful lake that connects to other lakes through wooded rivers, so you can spend all day exploring the area with Marlee's canoes or kayak. She made us delicious breakfasts and was eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The only minor issue I had was that there aren't pictures of the inside of the yurt on the Air Bnb page, and I was at first surprised by how rustic it was. That being said, our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed (electricity, bathroom, hot water, etc.). All in all I would recommend Northern Pines BnB highly and hope I have the occasion to come back soon. Thanks Marlee!

  • Marlee is a great host and we had a great weekend living there! She has a lot of unbelievable experience and always love to share with us. The breakfast was awesome!

    Wei2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a special weekend experience. Myself and 9 other friends stayed here, split between the yurt and the small cabin. We were prepared for a rustic experience, so we were happy with the accommodations and the piney woods. Marlee is a wonderful host, a fascinating woman who made us feel very welcome. I will mention that it was a little tough not to have kitchen access for our own meals, we had to borrow a cutting board, knives etc. from Marlee's kitchen so we could make our lunches and dinners. It would have been good to know ahead of time that we didn't have anywhere we could cook - or even eat, since it rained during our meal times, nor did we have access to a fridge where we could keep things cool over the 2 days we stayed there. We made do eating in the yurt, but it wasn't ideal. Otherwise, it was lovely - beautiful lake swimming and loon calls at night.

    Clare2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Marlee is a wonderful hostess and very helpful. The descriptions don't do this place justice: this is a beautiful, rustic, quiet, woodsy retreat with easy access to Portland. If you want the best of what Maine has to offer (city fun and country relaxation) this is a great place to stay.

    Jesse2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had six family members and friends stay here as it is across the lake from our home. They all had a wonderful experience. The setting is rustic and serene. They especially liked the "Mongolian style" round guest house with lots of windows and a cool pillow-filled meditation room. The lovely hostess made them a delicious homemade breakfast and they enjoyed hearing her stories and were impressed that she swims in the lake every morning.

    Maggie2015-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very warm and welcoming immediately!!! Rustic but perfect setting. The host and family - felt like home at hello.

    Suba2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Marlee was a delight. In this age of technology, where hoteliers and B and B hosts are often nameless, faceless entities, Marlee was a refreshing change. From the moment we arrived she made us welcome, no problem was too much for her to resolve. She has a wealth of knowledge about Maine and was happy to answer questions and advise on outings. We stayed in the yurt, which is rustically charming and provided a much needed retreat from the otherwise hectic pace of our trip to America. We enjoyed several days on the lake, thanks to Marlee's canoes and kayaks. The setting around the yurt is beautiful in its unspoilt serenity.

  • We had such a great time at the Raymond pond cabin. My party of 2 couples were spending a fall weekend relaxing and enjoying the colors and this was the perfect place for us. The cabin was clean and updated and had everything we needed to cook and feel right at home. Celia had some little gifts waiting for us and we instantly felt welcomed. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you !

    Allison2015-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Celia's place was excellent. My family of five spent a week there and especially enjoyed all of the water toys and location on the water.

    Tony2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at this quaint cabin on Raymond Pond! Don't let the humble exterior dissuade you; the interior is spotless and looks to have been JUST renovated. Everything from the walls to the towels and bedding were brand new. But even more, was Celia's hospitality. We arrived to a lengthy welcome note, anticipating any possible need (she even left bug spray and sunscreen -- so sweet!). Here are some details: We had full use of the kayak (great condition!) and paddle boat (older but functional)... and she left noodles (also appeared brand new!) and beach chairs, even a fishing rod and tackle, though we brought out own. The kitchen: she left a pound of Starbucks coffee with a french press, and the house was equipped with basic condiments from ketchup, mayo, etc. - even a couple of sticks of butter. The house has basic spices etc. (salt and pepper grinders, organic olive oil) and all the utensils you could need (knives, cork screw, bbq utensils etc.) The water comes from the pond, so you have to bring water for drinking -- we picked up a couple of 2.5 gallon Poland Spring water dispensers on our way in. But the tap water is fine for washing dishes, shower, etc. -- super clean. We did have an issue with water pressure (very weak) during our stay which I let Celia know about and she quickly remedied it afterwards (clog in pump). The bedrooms are very comfortable -- one bedroom has a double bed, the other a bunk and twin. The walls don't go all the way up between the rooms so if you are looking for serious privacy from your kids, may be a bit of an issue :). The beds are comfortable, the bedding with crisp clean sheets, comforters, etc. There is no air conditioning in the cabin but plenty of ceiling fans that kept it very comfortable. Also, lots of windows so nice cross ventilation. The pond is very sweet -- large enough to explore, but not so large to attract loud speed boats, etc. Though there are motorized boats allowed on the pond, it was a non-issue during our stay with mostly kayakers, if anything. The pond was warm -- nice for swimming, though bring water shoes as the entry right off the dock is a bit rocky/grassy. My 12 year old son had a ball fishing off the dock and the kayak. So great to have him paddle out on his own for some independence, but all within sight and also we could hear him. Caught 2 fish! Privacy/neighbors. One thing that surprised us was how close the neighbors are on one side -- REALLY close, but again it turned out to be a non issue. They were extremely quiet, and very nice and were only there for a couple of days. This was our first AirBnB experience -- and a great one! Thank you Celia!

    Mary2015-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is in a beautiful location. I can't say enough good things about our stay, but I will: kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, beds were comfortable, all the water toys (kayak, paddle boat and paddle board) kept us occupied all day. Nice to have the propane heater on the chilly nights. Roasting s'mores at the end of the day was so fun! (Thank you, Celia, for leaving us all the s'mores ingredients when we arrived).

    Amy2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • When looking for a relaxing retreat by a lake then Celia's place is the perfect spot! We were supplied with two kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and peddle boat and fishing equipment. This place is perfect for couples and families and I could not recommend it anymore. Celia left us a list of recommendations which were perfect for a visit in to nearby towns. Check in was straightforward and the information supplied was perfect. If headed to Maine then this is the perfect place to base yourself!

    Jonathan2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect quiet location on a lovely little lake. Easy access to town and shopping if needed.

    Sarah2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • A great stay at a secluded lake-side cabin, exactly as advertised. Thoughtful hosts and a beautiful setting for tranquility.

    Jason2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Communications from Celia prior to our vacation and on the day travelling to the the cabin were excellent. My family and I had a perfect stay in your cabin. Nothing needed to ask for, everything was there that we needed and more. Really impressed with the finer details, such as a welcome pack of goodies, our kids loved making smores and the other beverages were great. Also appreciated the softness and the newness of the towels and the fully stocked kitchen provisions from ziplock bags to aluminium foil to a variety of condiments to ice trays and paper towels. What also contributed to our memorable experience was the use of your range of water equipment. Our daughter by the middle of the week was on a sup herself! She loved it! Our son was straight on one after camp each day and the pedalboat was so much fun too! Great wifi, really comfortable beds, great barbeque, super firepit, running out of positive superlative words to describe how excellent the cabin was for us. What made it equally impressive were the haunting calls of the loons; absolutely breathtaking hearing them while looking over Raymond Pond, makes for lasting memories. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!! We were very sad to leave. Thank you Celia for opening your cabin to us. At the first opportunity we will be back.... we are already saving up!

  • Nathan’s place was great! The backyard was large and had a fire pit, where we enjoyed a bonfire one night. There were also kayaks and a private dock to relax on. Nathan was very helpful and let us know about a few places nearby. It was the perfect house if you are looking for a relaxing getaway on the lake.

  • My wife and I stayed here for four nights with another couple who are close friends. Our stay here was everything we hoped it would be: quiet, in a picturesque setting with a nice view of the causeway and everything the charming town of Naples has to offer a 5 minute drive away. Entry to the water from the dock is easy and the lawn leading down from the house creates a picturesque setting beneath the pines. Comfortable beds and all the necessities for preparing home cooked meals are provided. The gas outdoor grill worked well, and there was plenty of wood for the fire pit. There is a comfortable couch that seats three and one easy chair in the living room, the dining area seats 4 comfortably but there are extra chairs if needed(URL HIDDEN)

  • It was hard to leave this place after an incredibly relaxing weekend. The home itself is beautiful and clean, has everything you need to feel right at home. It's a very short drive to local shops and restaurants- we stayed in and grilled/ate on the deck all weekend while taking in the incredible lake views. Definitely check out sunrise/sunset here- it's worth it! My dog, who is usually a little nervous in new places, loved it immediately and didn't want to leave! He spent almost all day running around the backyard. This is the perfect place to go off the grid a little bit and recharge. We didn't get a chance to take the kayaks out or rent a little boat to fish but I know we will next time. It's understandably buggy so don't forget to pack bug spray and do tick checks!

A 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom lake house close to Shawnee Peak and Sebago State Park, "Jupiter Landing" is the perfect home base for skiing, snowmobiling, leaf-peeping, or just relaxing at lake's edge and letting your cares slip away.
This three-story, 4 bedroom has been painstakingly, lovingly, and completely redone over the past six months. New paint everywhere, brand new kitchen, new lighting, new hardware, new flooring throughout, updated bathrooms, wet bar, laundry, and brand new beautiful furnishings -- including luxurious memory foam mattresses on all beds. On the main floor you'll find a beautiful guest bedroom with queen bed and tons of closet space just across from the first full bath. Down the hall is a roomy laundry room with new washer and dryer to warm up your ski socks before heading out. The main living space is bright, sunny and open concept with large two-sofa seating area, fireplace, TV and vintage record player. You can cook up a big meal for the family in the brand-new kitchen featuring a 10-foot barnwood island, and quaint dining area. Upstairs are two more bedrooms -- One king, one queen -- and a sitting room. The second updated bath with shower is located on this floor. On the lower level will be many people's favorite spot -- the game room, wet bar, and bunk room. A large sectional gives the perfect spot for warming your feet off the pot belly stove and watching a movie on the 55" 4K TV. Or, slide over to the wet bar with fridge/freezer and play a game of shuffleboard on our 9' table. There's also a half-bath on this level, and the bunk room with two twin memory foam beds. The house also offers ample bedding/sheets/blankets if you have a larger group and want to utilize the three sofas for sleeping, and a double height inflatable Aerobed. All in all, you can sleep 8 adults comfortably (king, two queens, two twins), or up to 13 using sofas and Aerobed. There's ample parking for up to five or six cars, and snow plowing service is set for any flakes that fall. The house is key-code secured so there's no keys to mess with, and features three Nest thermostats so you don't have to worry about leaving the heat at a certain level when you depart because we can do it from our phones. All-in-all, Jupiter Landing is a cut above the typical lake "camp" up in Maine. From the materials chosen in the renovation, to the tasteful decor, this is a very special place you'll remember for a long time... particularly if you catch a sunrise over Brandy Pond.
Naples is one of the most picturesque small towns in Western Maine surrounded by Maine nature at its finest. Located in the center of southern Maine's Lake Region, Naples has a wealth of opportunities for recreation year-round. Visitors are drawn to the Naples Causeway on Long Lake & Brandy Pond where they find lots of fun activities by day, then spectacular sunsets and bustling nightlife at restaurants and pubs. There are four large lakes & ponds as well as several rivers for summer and winter recreation. Ski resorts (Shawnee Peak, Sunday River) are within short distances of town. Numerous campgrounds, marinas, seasonal rentals, and other businesses also offer unique and abundant recreational activities. Sebago Lake State Park is located within Naples. Sebago Lake State Park opened to the public in 1938 as one of the five original state parks. This forested lakeside park is situated on the shore of Maine's deepest and second largest lake which provides year-round recreation for thousands of visitors each year. Near the foothills of the While Mountains, the park's 1,400 acres features sandy beaches, extensive woodlands, ponds, bogs a river and diverse habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal life. Swimming, sport fishing, camping and boating are some of the summer activities enjoyed by visitors. The park's 250-site campground is a popular destination for family vacationers and provides lasting memories season after season. Wooded areas offer a respite from the sun and activity on the beaches. Whether hiking on marked trails or bicycling on park roads, visitors find many way to enjoy the park.
  • Very nice, newly renovated lake house with amazing views and great hosts. We would definitely stay there again!

  • Ronan and Maya's place was simply incredible. Our family had to travel to Maine for a funeral and having this beautiful retreat was just what we needed. The beds and bedding were wonderful, the towels were soft and fluffy. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, along with plenty of coffee! The view of the lake was peaceful and we were truly able to relax all together in the living room on the comfy couches. I would absolutely rent here again!

  • We had an awesome stay at Jupiter Landing! The house is extremely clean and was the perfect getaway for a cozy weekend. Directly on the lake and with it's own private dock, provides the gorgeous views for sunrise and star gazing. Great kitchenware and well stocked for any cooking needs! The beds are also super comfortable and clean. Plenty of entertainment options (big TV, game room downstairs). Ronan is an extremely thoughtful host, and made the stay easy and fun for us. Would definitely stay again at this house, highly recommend!

  • Scott's place was great. It had everything we would need for a lake vacation and then some. We had our 2 children, 3 and 8, and they had a great time as well. The house is set up wonderfully for families. The stat park beach was awesome, as we're the even closer private beaches. Scott was also very nice and easy to communicate with, as was his property manager. I would definitely come back here.

  • My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house is impeccably decorated, immaculate, and within walking distance to the lake. The owners provided all the information we needed and communicated well before, during, and after our stay. We rented a pontoon boat from Long Lake Marina and had no problems mooring it at the lake. Excellent experience!

  • The stay was very nice and relaxing. Everything needed was pretty much in the house, inc enough of pans, utensils, linens, paper towels and toilet paper, laundry detergent, salt, pepper, spices etc. The stay made me feel like I was leaving in my own house. The host was available to answer any of my questions and concerns. Very close to the private lake, where there was no one at the time. Overall very relaxing and quiet stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a sun porch in a 100 year old farmhouse. This space has private parking, entrance and a bath . A bed and bureau in one room, sofa, tv, kitchen table and chairs in other room. Ceiling is only 6'4" so a really tall person may be uncomfortable. Private bath with stand up shower. Deck with a view of the horses on our farm. Lots of windows and sliding doors provide the "sun" on this porch. Pets are welcome.
This is a working farm which means animals are all over the place! You won't have much interaction with them unless the dogs visit you in the yard or you participate in our services. But the smells, sights and overall ambiance of a farm are right out your door. So keep that in mind if farms are not your thing!
We are on the edge of the village and halfway up a pretty big hill. Our neighbors are within sight but the property is large so you won't need to interact with them. My son's park model trailer is closest to your rental and another rental is in the house next to you so please be considerate of noise.
  • A beautiful little enclosed sun porch- very clean and cabin like. Hosts are super accommodating, available and offer a lot of information on the area. TONS of great hiking/biking, scenery and, of course, horses!

Enjoy your privacy in our second floor suite! You have a sitting room, with TV, overlooking the greenery of our back yard, a comfy and quiet queen bedroom, and a huge bath for your sole use . We are in a small town, only 30-40 minutes west of Portland, on Maine's most desirable lake! Tassel Top, a sandy, well-kept beach, is less than a mile from here. Quiet neighborhood; beautiful setting! Peaceful. Mt. Washington area & North Conway only an hour away. Portland and Freeport even closer.
My home is a country-style cape cod, typical in New England towns. It sits on about 1.5 acres, in an association neighborhood on the shores of Sebago Lake. Guests say our home is a beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful and private. The loons on the lake lull us to sleep, and the birds chirping greet us as the sun shines in the windows. We have a large screen-enclosed porch attached to our home, a perfect place for early morning coffee, reading and relaxing, or taking a break from the beach! Your personal space is on the second floor of our family home, and is a three room suite comprised of a bedroom, sitting room and private bath. There is a queen sized bed, dressers, a large closet, WiFi, a 20” flat screen TV in the sitting room, satellite TV, ceiling fans in both rooms, central heat and, in summer, window air conditioning. The bathroom includes a custom-made two person walk-in shower. Bedding, towels and shampoos are included. Please note that the bedroom, sitting home and bath all have doors into the private hallway at the top of the stairs. The modern kitchen on the first floor is available for light use, as is the laundry room. If you have a longer reservation, I try to make the kitchen fully available. I provide safe, on premises, parking during your stay with us, at no additional cost. Early or late check in/out are generally not a problem. Please advise of your expected check in and check out times so we can better accommodate you and other guests.
Summertime brings wonderful swimming and water-play in our area! The sunsets are glorious. We're located in a "neighborhood" with private roads, so walking and biking are also safe and relaxing here(URL HIDDEN). Our local beach is called Tassel Top State Park, less than a mile from here. It istotally sandy! There are picnic tables, restroom facilities, a small store for supplies, and a nice nature trail for walking. Autumn is also a wonderful time to enjoy Maine!! Crisp air, yet sunny most of the time. Look out your sitting room window to the fall colors on our trees, and take a road trip to enjoy peak experiences(URL HIDDEN)The winter at your Suite on Sebago can also be appealing! Light snow and cold = ice skating on the lake. Heavy snow and cold/ice = snowmobiling on the lake. Of course, we also invite cross-country skiers and other outside adventurers. We are only 30 minutes from Shawnee Peak skiing in Bridgton, and 1.5 hrs from the acclaimed Sunday River in Bethel.

  • Kathleen is a wonderful, gracious host. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with her during the evening. She is extremely helpful in sharing her ideas on where to eat and places to visit. She pointed us in the direction of a nearby private beach on Lake Sebago, which was a very relaxing, and serene experience at this time of the year. We are very grateful for her hospitality.

  • Kathleen was a very welcoming and friendly host. She helped us out with the nearby area and where to eat and even let us borrow her phone to book a table reservation! The upstairs area was very comfortable and had all you can need. A lovely peaceful neighbourhood and a great location to enjoy Sebago Lake from on a private beach, just a short walk down the road.

    Steph and Jeremy2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Kathleen's place over July 4th weekend and it was perfect. We arrived a lot later than expected (12am) and Kathleen was so kind to make her checkin hours so flexible, staying up to welcome us. The place is more beautiful than expected, especially the patio area. The lake is beautiful and only a short walk away. I would definitely recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to go back one day.

  • Kathleen, her son Andrew and dog Penny were very friendly and welcoming. Our accommodations were roomy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The screen porch was a great place to relax after a picnic at the beach. Kathleen helped us to feel comfortable using her kitchen to cook our meals. A rustic cabin. With a woodsy environment. Step out the door to lakeside relaxation. Take an early canoe ride out to Turtle Cove. Enjoy the wild life. A perfect retreat for bird watchers and fishermen...or for someone who just wants to put feet up and watch the boats go by...and listen to the loons who make this place their home.
Summer is warm! Fall is cool! There is no central heat in the cabin and during the fall, the outside shower (h/c) can be chilling but...exhilarating! And there are heaters that keep the cabin cozy. The cabin has one bedroom and a common sitting area with rocking chairs, internet access, bunk bed couch, and kitchen area. Ideally, a couple would enjoy the ground floor bedroom but only a very limber adult or two could access by ladder (see picture) a loft with featherbed mattress double bed. There is a small screened porch that offers a tranquil place to sit, lunch or nap. The toilet is a professionally maintained porta-potty and the h/c outdoor shower is fenced in and under the stars and a canopy of pines.
Ours is a quiet, small private association, with great neighbors.
  • Bonnie and Mike are great host. The cottage was nice and neat. The best part was waking up right next to the lake. Would recommend this spot to anyone and would definitely go back for another stay.

  • Fantastic spot facing south on Sebago Lake. Cozy little cabin, with lots of space outside to play basket ball and throw the frisbee with our grown son. Great dock, easy entry to water by stairs, too. So beautiful, wonderful place to relax. Bonnie and Mike are so friendly and helpful!

    Mary2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very charming little cabin! The hosts are very responsive and nice. The cabin looks out onto the most beautiful scenic view of lake Sebago. There are lots of places to sit and relax outside. There are canoes and kayaks to borrow. It was slightly rustic due to the outside shower and port a John but everything was super clean and well kept. It was a very relaxing stay.

    Rob2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Bonnie and Mike are great! As soon as we got there we were welcomed given a tour and saw the beautiful scenery! Mike let my bf father borrower a guitar so they jammed out and had a awesome fire and an amazing time! The porter potty was the nicest and cleanest porter potty I have ever used, which I didn't think I would have said. And the beds were also super comfortable. We were able to use the kayaks and canoes all around the lake. Overall it was a blast and we will definitely be back!

    Gina2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a paradise on the lake! I did so much swimming four or five times a day- it was just a few steps to the docks! I slept in the hammock and watched the sunrise! There is a pile of canoes and kayaks and a wonderful little route on calm water. It was simply glorious! My partner and i are not super social, and while we saw Bonnie and Mike every day, they gave us tons of space. They also had an open invitation extended to join them for coffee. Really fantastic! I plan on returning next summer! Thank you!

    Andree2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is just wonderful. Bonnie and Mike are fantastic humans and hosts. The cabin is right next to the water, its small and quaint and serene. The views are impeccable (sunrise every day is on point) and the space itself has just enough for someone looking to get away from it all. And you're not far from town at all, so if you need anything or want to get out, you easily can. I love this place. Do yourself a favor.

    Erin2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our magical weekend at the cabin. Bonnie and Mike were fantastic hosts - friendly, interesting, hospitable and just really wonderful people. The cabin is warm and cosy and full of beautiful knick knacks that Bonnie has collected over the years. We loved cooking dinners and either sitting by the indoor fire, or outside in front of the bonfire by the lake. The lake is exquisite - beautiful views, amazing fresh water and lovely temperature. The property is also so cool. We will certainly be back. Also a short ten minute drive to excellent restaurants and cafes, as well as walks. Thanks so much Bonnie and Mike!
