Places to stay in Cave Junction

Places to stay in Cave Junction
Welcome to Eudora! Our twenty acres of secluded woodland, in Southern Oregon's beautiful Klamath Siskiyou ecoregion. Our property is run on solar power - come experience the rustic, off-grid Oregon lifestyle. Our dream is to make this property into a small permaculture homestead, and create more beautiful spaces so we can have more folks visit the property. We invite you to enjoy our woods and relax in the wild.
Our rental is a bit of a unique situation, please read everything before booking: The cabin is studio style i.e. one open room. There is an enclosed outdoor shower on the back porch, with hot water. The toilet is an outhouse, which is a short walk from the cabin - so be ready for a genuine rustic experience! Our chicken yard is just downhill from the cabin (only hens, we don't have a rooster) - please enjoy as many farm fresh eggs as you like during your stay. There are three farm dogs on site, that will join you if you hike around the property. There is a 1.8 mile gravel road to our property that has some potholes - please take this into consideration. *Note spring 2020 - for the safety of our guests, we are taking special care to disinfect surfaces between guests.
The Illinois Valley is a very special place - there are many incredible hikes and river spots all around us- we will be happy to recommend some of our favorites during your stay. There are three grocery stores in Cave Junction, Shop Smart (Ray’s), Grocery Outlet and Diggin’ Livin Natural Foods & Cafe - all of which are open 7 days a week.
  • Warm wood fire. Stars beaming through the skylights. Great food from Cave Junction's local hippie store. Cozy woods and critters all around us, and a bathroom with an amazing view! We definitely felt like Travis and Hannah's off grid haven from the noise and waste of civilization was truly a special discovery! Thanks guys :)

  • Hannah's place was great. Very off the beaten path. The dirt road to get there is about 15 minutes long and was a little scary to drive at night but Hannah and her adorable dogs met us as soon as we got there to great us and show us around. She had also gotten the wood stove going before we got there so it was nice and toasty. This place is definitely rustic and off the grid. The "bathroom" is entirely outside with no door just a heads up and so is the shower. The cabin itself is beautifully built with all the necessary amenities for a brief stay. The books and games and puzzles were a great addition as well. Hope to be back one day!

  • Super friendly, they did a fantastic job making it feel like home. Their dogs are super sweet and visited us in the mornings.

  • The road is a little hard to get up at some points but it is so worth it! Such a cute little cabin that is perfect for a quiet get away. The host are very responsive and super friendly! Would recommend to anyone!

  • Great spot to stay if visiting the Oregon Caves area. Super rustic and off the grid but that was made clear before we reserved. Nice space!

    Rodney2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful area, sweet, rustic cabin experience!

    Nicole2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah’s place is pure off the grid awesomeness! The quiet, the stars and the incredible flora around it makes it one of the most peaceful places I’ve been in a while. If you’re in the area to visit the Oregon caves or the Siskiyou region (incredible nature) treat yourself to this fantastic place full of thoughtful touches and true serenity.

  • Travis personally met and showed me around. Thankfully he provided accurate directions from Highway as it is off the beaten path. Would not recommend trying to find this place in the dark. It was a fun and adventurous experience & would highly recommend

Approximately 260 sq ft, earth sheltered structure within our permaculture-based, sustainable, off-grid village. It is one of a kind in architecture and theme with colored bottles built into the wall, stained glass windows, center tree pillar with atrium windows above, and medieval Celtic Cross above the Hobbit Hole (outside and atop) give it a Hobbit Church feel.
This is a primitive cabin, it DOES have running water, but NO electricity (you bring your own candles BYOC). Common facilities (kitchen and bath) being shared with the larger community, about 200 yds away. *Just so everyone knows, during heavy rains in our RainForest winter months, sometimes the floor can get a little wet by the door. It doesn't really impede anything, but fyi. And understand, this is essentially a cave, so it can be damp in the winter. I recommend bringing an extra sleeping bag or borrow on of ours, OR bring some firewood (or you can use ours) as there is a wood stove inside next to the tempurpedic, round, Hobbit Love Nest Bed. Breakfast nook has a Hobbit mushroom table and there is a comfy sky chair suspended for luxuriating. Built into the side of a mountain with a seasonal spring (there are springs everywhere here in the mountainous rain forest) that runs through the house -- on purpose -- so there is often the sound of a babbling brook in the HH November thru May. If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful natural area and would like to experience life in an off-grid, sustainable, permaculture-focused ecovillage - and all the rough roads, dirt, mud, insects, messes, barking dogs, mosquitos, bees, mice, early morning roosters, communal living, composting toilets, ongoing construction projects in remote wilderness - then we invite you join us in our mountain village! Our property encompasses 160 acres of pristine natural wilderness in Northern California's beautiful Smith River canyon - home of the only un-dammed river in the state. Lush fern-encrusted hillsides slope down to countless spring-fed streams, teeming with wildlife, from cute caterpillars to (also cute, sometimes!) black bears. Accessible only by forestry road from scenic Redwoon Hwy (CA-199,) this is an opportunity to experience our responsible natural relationship with Mother Earth. This location is very beautiful and quite remote, so please be sure you've read through the full description and are prepared for certain elements of "roughing it" and adventure travel. The Village is also a work-in-progress so we are likely to be working and there may be construction, dirt, and messes around! Amenities: •Lighting / Electricity: Your cabin does not have electricity; we try to keep a flashlight, lantern, and/or candle available for your use -- but we recommend that you bring your own lights. •Kitchen: The outdoor kitchen, about 200yds away from the Hobbit Hole, has a small propane camping stove, and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils for your use. We do not have refrigeration but we do have a freezer (with ice packs) and coolers for storing food. •Bathrooms: We use composting toilets (buckets with seats); there is an indoor toilet in the bathhouse. Hot shower in the sauna/bathhouse. It is about 200 yds on average away from most of our cabins •(Lack of) Phone / Internet: Some Verizon and US Cellular service is available, but AT&T and T-Mobile do not service our area. We do not have wifi. The Great Outdoors: •Domestic animals: Between the three dogs who run around at night chasing forest creatures, springtime frog concerts, and the early-rising chickens, it is likely that there will be some animal noises occurring at unpredictable moments during the night and day. •Wild animals: There are various of these that live in the forest, including skunks, chipmunks, foxes, black bears, and many birds and insects. Since we have dogs and people around, the wild animals tend to keep their distance from the areas that we use. If you are lucky, you might spot a black bear on a hike; they are basically like big raccoons and prefer to run away from humans. If you are looking for a unique experience and up for rustic accommodations with a few off-grid perks, we welcome you to join us in our mountain paradise!
Our 160-acre property is surrounded by about a million acres of National Forest. Our neighborhood is all made of trees, huckleberry bushes and animals. We love it here. It is very remote, peaceful, and functionally sustainable in its focus. The closest neighbor is a Buddhist Hermitage about a mile up the forestry road. Also, supposedly, Sasquatch live here! (it is the epicenter for documented sightings) Most visitors to the area are interested in spending time in the redwoods – we are about 30-45 minutes from the nearest entrance to Jedediah Smith Park, home of Stout Grove and other beautiful redwood hikes. Driving into Crescent City, about 45-60 minutes, winds you right through the "gentle giants" on your way to or from Redwood National Park.
  • Unique stay to say the least. If you’re into an off-grid, rustic experience this is the place for you. Host has several cabins on the property. They all seemed like a comfortable, one of a kind stay.

    Amber2020-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • It is everything you could hope for when wanting to stay in a hobbit hole! The architecture is absolutely beautiful as well as the scenery!! And all of the little details inside of the hobbit hole are incredible! Definitely bring lots of candles, headlamps, and a lantern! The directions are spot on if you follow them to a T!

    Eve2020-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the hobbit inspired cabin and it was amazing! So beautiful and fun (especially if you are a Lord of the Rings fan like us). Everyone there was so kind and informative. What a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend this eco friendly adventure!!

    Caitlin2020-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • A magical place! Like the movie! I certainly will be back often and I love it! One of a kind experience. Host was super nice and very helpful and the entire experience is priceless! I truly loved this hobbit house & will make it a regular visit when I can.

  • This Magical Hobbit Hole was incredibly unique and peaceful. Amazing people and animals to enjoy along with the outstanding views.

    Smith2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter described it as "magical". I truly felt like I was transported to a fairy tail and got to spend the night there. Thanks so much for this amazing experience. Directions were great and the road was much easier than expected.

    Jessie2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Waking up to a misty sunrise along with hearing the fluttering wings of hummingbirds was truly magical. Opening the giant wooden door to the hobbit hole made it surreal. Great hospitality and an awesome experience.

    Ashley2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very magical. We will recommend the Hobbit Hole to everyone and want to come back!

Private and cozy room at Kerbyville Inn. Coffee is available for you to make in your room, however no breakfast is provided by the inn. Wi-fi, Netflix and Roku available. Nestled in the beautiful Illinois Valley, this inn provides easy access to local attractions, including Oregon Caves National Monument, local wineries, and numerous parks and hiking trails.
  • Wonderful host! I had a great stay. Perfect location for my needs. The room was spotless and the check in was a breeze. Best place to stay in the area. Will be staying here again.

    Morrison2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • I like this little place. It’s close to my dive spot in the Illinois river. Closest I could get and the stay was great.

  • Very comfortable room on the way to Crater Lake with everything you need.

    Mariette2019-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabernet Room at Kerbyville Inn was clean and offered a nice place to stay in the area with ample parking. No breakfast was provided. Check-in was easy. Hostess communicated well and was very responsive. There was a refrigerator and coffee in the room with a coffee pot. The Kerby Mart is right next door, so if you need a few quick items, it is within walking distance. My only complaint would be that the price for the room seemed a bit high for the offering. Other than that, I expect that we will likely return in the future.

    Thomas2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Accommodations were wonderful and staff were available to meet whatever needs/concerns you had. Would definitely recommend Debbie’s place and plan on using them again in the future. We reported a front porch light being out making it dark at night to get into our room. It was corrected the same day. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries provided as well.

Cute and cozy vintage home located close to town on the road to the Oregon Caves.
This is a life size dollhouse. Very quaint authentic experience.
The neighbors are also alittle quirky but kind. We all get along & help eachother when needed.
  • Nice rustic feel

  • A great value for the size of the home. Met all of our needs and we were comfortable. The space has a lot of cute little touches. It’s close to grocery stores and restaurants. Perfect for a weekend in CJ!

  • Very nice place. really enjoyed our stay.

  • A charming old house with vintage touches and decorations everywhere. Fantastic amenities (there was even some butter in the fridge!) and great location for a home base if you’re exploring the Oregon caves or going to the northern redwoods.

    Blossom2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space. Perfectly located for a visit to the caves. Felt very relaxing and we left recharged.

  • Easy to find, comfortable and charming mid-century decorated home. Enjoyed our stay!

  • Great location - very convenient if you spent a long day at Oregon Caves. Clean and quiet. Lots of interesting décor. We enjoyed our night in Cave Junction. Plenty of restaurants to choose from - the pizza at Wild River was great. Thanks, Kathryn!

    Stefan2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is in a great location right on the way to the Oregon caves and is very spacious. The mandolin and piano were interesting additions to an Airbnb. The beds were quite comfortable and the layout of the home was very unique and interesting. The decorations in the common spaces and bathrooms were actually really cool but the bedroom meant for a child was overwhelming. I would not want to sleep in there among all the antique dolls and posters and my niece was a little scared to step into the room. I dont mean to be negative, we got through the night fine and my niece was able to laugh about it but she shared a bed with her mom. Overall I really liked it and would recommend it

  • Great swimming!

  • The campsite is very clean, dog friendly, has clean porta potties, water, fire circles and plenty of shade. There weren't a lot of bugs or other disturbances. Tent sites are far enough from the RV sites that it isn't noisy. The host is friendly and responsive. Follow the directions provided DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS- it will lead you two miles down the road in the wrong direction.

  • Try the swimming hole. It’s great!

  • Excellent primitive camping stay with my 2 dogs. Clean, exactly as advertised, spacious campsites, and a great value. Me and my dogs especially liked the chilly/clear water pond for swimming. Will absolutely stay again in the future.

    Dan2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Campsite was back from the rv sites which was nice, a lot of mosquitos at dusk, but they cleared off pretty quickly after dark.

    Andrew2019-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn and his staff were warm and welcoming! Beautiful property and will definitely stay again!

    Tori2018-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great campsite! Had a picnic bench, showers, laundry which I didn't use but still nice to have. Tent campsites were in the back of the site away from RVs which was nice

We invite you and your family to stay in the place that we love... If you are fond of the outdoors and the natural diversity of this area, you may come to love it, too. Let it inspire your inner artist, writer, or naturalist.
The Cabin is an open studio nestled in a clearing in a forested park-like setting on more than 60 acres. The kitchen corner is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, two-burner induction stove, convection oven, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, and dining table. The couch corner has a...couch!...a comfy chair, and a coffee table. There are two queen beds in the sleeping area. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, and shower. Relax and enjoy the outdoors from one of the two decks attached to the Cabin. We have a Bunkhouse that is situated on the same clearing as the Cabin. It will not be rented during your stay in order to ensure you privacy (we will give you a tour, if you would like). We (and our hens) live on a clearing below the Cabin. This maintains your privacy but provides you with easy access to us if any need arises. Infants, children, and teens are welcome to stay at the Cabin with their parents, and we think this is a great home base for a family outdoor getaway. Please be aware that we do not include infant and toddler safety equipment. We do provide several indoor (and outdoor) games, puzzles, and family friendly DVDs. There is plenty of outdoor space to run around, have fun, and to play on. As in any outdoor space, please take precautions and supervise children.

  • We highly recommend a stay at Whisper Canyon Ranch. Cornelia and David are wonderful hosts, who made sure we had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We had some highly competitive games of croquet, badminton and horseshoes 😉. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We loved the cabin! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was charming, well-kept, and met all of our needs. Cornelia was attentive and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

    Ben2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at Whisper Canyon Ranch. We were visiting our two grandchildren and their mother who live in the area. The kids had a great time with us at the cabin, playing croquet, tether ball, horseshoes, board games and watching children's DVDs, even sleeping over one night. This was all provided by Cornelia and David prior to our arrival. One morning Cornelia invited the kids down the hill to gather more eggs for the cabin. In the kitchen we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh organic ground coffee, including creamers, sugar, filters, and a selection of teas, fresh fruit, eggs (from their own chickens), sliced organic cheese, crackers and nuts. All kitchen cleaning supplies were provided. Plenty of towels and washcloths were provided, and replenished twice during our stay. Soap and shampoo were also provided. The cabin is beautiful inside, and really clean. The two queen beds and all the bedding are extremely comfortable, as is the sofa and recliner. Outside we could sit on the porch and hear nothing but the sound of birds singing and the trees rustling in the breeze. This was our first Airbnb rental, but it was really like a stay at a secluded country resort, so peaceful and serene. Thank you Cornelia and David.

    Don2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was warm and well-insulated (it rained for our whole stay), clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. My wife and I stayed here with our 1-year-old for a few nights, and there was plenty of room for his pack-n-play in the sitting area. We felt very much at home thanks to personal touches like fresh eggs from the hens on the property, a baby gate, and a box full of toys and books for our son. Cornelia was a very gracious host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Highly recommended, and we hope we get a chance to stay here again!

My place is 17 miles from Oregon Caves National Monument, close to city center, great views. My place is good for couples, solo , business travelers, families (with kids),groups, and furry friends (pets). It comes with a fenced yard for pets and six acres to run and play on. We have very friendly animals from chickens to horses and the property also has it's share of wild Turkeys and deer crossing all the time (this is a "No hunting" property). And the property overlooks the Bridge View Winery.
There is little to no Cell service and no WiFi and no Cable......we do have a VCR and Free Movies though! A deck to drink coffee on and enjoy the outdoors. You can also enjoy watching your kids walking around with their cell phones in the air looking for a signal and bumping into oak trees and trying to figure out what a "VCR" is. We do find that parents have the chance to actually talk to their kids! Anyway, all kidding aside you will be in the country, and most kids discover that you really can play with a horse if you want to and they will come when called!
We charge a $10 fee for extra beds you want setup, the home comes with two beds ready to go. Quite safe and secure, no one has EVER had anything stolen on our property. We allow NO trespassers. Our property is a fenced six acres with a lot of walking and riding trails, and wildlife (Deer, squirrels, horses wild turkeys, chickens one goose and a dog).
  • The home is spacious with a large deck in the back. The horses are very friendly and will get in your space if you let them so if you don’t care for horses, Don will kindly put them away from you. Expect an outdoorsy feel, lots of quiet, and a little bit of a trip back to the 80s when cable tv didn’t exist when you didn’t live in town. Also, poor download speed on phones or iPads so no streaming videos. Perfect if you want to get away from it all.

  • Our group of four stayed at Don's place for a stop at the Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve along our 1300 mile West Coast Road trip. Don's hospitality lived up to the numerous reviews we'd seen from prior patrons and he really made us feel at home. As others also noted, we were greeted by his friendly horses upon arrival, which was a nice perk :) We'd happily recommend other's stay here.

  • You will get what you expect. Don is very good at letting you know what you need . Very private

  • We had just come from a different Airbnb where we had a terrible experience. Upon arriving at Don’s, we were greeted warmly and it became immediately apparent that we were very welcome there. Don was incredibly accommodating and has great communication skills. He is friendly, but also gives you your space. And he is very concerned with making his guests comfortable. The home was really cute...situated on a peaceful 6 acres where we were free to wander around, it was a beautiful wooded location that had a playground for the kids, a charming tire swing, and a deck where we could sit and drink our coffee while our dog explored the fenced in yard. Our son LOVED the three very friendly horses wandering the property and we loved seeing their adorable faces through the windows, waiting for us to come outside to pet them. This is not the place for you if you are looking for a high-end retreat with fancy accommodations...it is rural and surrounded by nature, so there is (naturally) dust and no WiFi. BUT, this is the place for you if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, connect with your family, and enjoy feeling grounded without the distractions of modern day life.

  • Our stay at this house was spectacular. The location is convenient for travelers seeking beautiful excursions nearby while also offers amazing experiences right from the b&b. Enjoy the sounds of wildlife, vineyard and farm views, and friendly horses to pet and freely offer treats. The house has great character and is clean. My family loved it...by far, our favorite of the many places we stayed. Don greeted us with a complimentary bottle of wine, four fresh water bottles, and snacks. And he went above and beyond in supporting us with safely mailing our computer after we had realized we accidentally left it behind. Thanks again Don!

    Dan2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay! Don is a very friendly and welcoming host and was a pleasure to meet. The home is very spacious and comfortable with a nice shaded porch, and accommodated our group of 6 perfectly. If you're staying in the area for a couple of days, this is a great place to call "home" while you explore.

The is a new cannabis friendly treehouse venture. All guests must be at least 21 years of age or older to stay here. The treehouse can accommodate up to 4 people and the rental comes with some complimentary cannabis and a garden tour(seasonally available).
This is currently the only treehouse for rent at this property but there are several people who live on site in a domestic dwelling. It is also a working cannabis farm so there is the potential for several workers to be on the property as well as the possibility of deliveries.
This property is about 10 minutes from the main Out 'n' About Treehouse Treesort property where daily breakfast and activitrees are available. It is also about 45 minutes from the Oregon Caves National Monument and about an hour's drive to the Redwood National Forest.

Large room about 175 sq ft. Skylights and piano. Wifi available. 10 minutes to town. 20 minutes from the Caves. 45 minutes to Grants Pass. 30 minutes to Redwoods. 15 acres in our hilly backyard is hiking. We live in the hills small garden/farm and cats.
Bedroom has one queen size bed. Air mattress available to extra people in room or tent outside. Nice view with piano in room. Outdoor bathroom adjacent to bedroom with marble tub and nice indoor compost toilet in nice indoor bathroom, large windows give a outdoor feel. Everyone is usually fine with adjacent bathroom, but welcome to small shared one. We are flexible and laid back. Good down home living. Kid friendly. Trampoline available for fun. Some shelves with books and our things in room. We do not charge a cleaning fee or deposit which I find a plus. We get it ready ourselves. Clean sheets and towels provided. Let us know if you need anything else, or more cleans sheets etc..dusting, sweeping etc.. The space is well lived in and but fairly clean. Our cats are out and in, we will keep them out of the private room if requested.
On 15 acres pretty hilly and rural. Neighbors somewhat far away. Pretty secluded. Nice patio and view. In the woods/forest but open sunny spot at house. Deer and wild turkeys are abundant.
  • Alan and Charlene we’re very friendly and hospitable. They communicated well about directions and were open to answer all our questions. We also had wonderful conversations. We liked that their place is quiet. It’s also not too far from the Oregon Caves National Monument, just about 35 mins drive.

  • The house was very nice, with big windows and lovely view! Charlene and Alan were nice and helpful. Room was clean, cozy With long driveway ,in the evening,Charlene helped us. Alan did an amazing job with breakfast. Thank you very much!

  • Very peaceful setting. The tub is perfect for an after hike soak. Charlene and her husband are lovely hosts.

  • Charlene's place was as advertised. She was very hospitable in providing directions and getting us settled in. I would definitely stay again.

  • Helpful, clean, and comfortable. All good.

    Troy2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Charlene is a great hospitable host. She made us a nice breakfast with organic eggs and fruits, the place is very quite and close to oregon cave (about 30 min) with mountain view in the backyard. The place located on top of the mountain with steep and dirty road. We recommended people contact host if without suv or truck.

    Joyce2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Charlene's and Alan's house, and not only because of the house itself being deep in woods, and not only organic eggs and veggies, but mostly because of very welcoming hosts who we felt to become good friends with. We even prolonged our stay for one more night because it was too sad to leave. We liked the room - there's an extremely comfortable king size bed now, a vintage piano and a contemplative ceiling fan, the room is clean and smells very good (due to incense and essential oils). There are also two windows in the ceiling through which you can see the stars! The room has a door to terrace with a dining table and a huge cedar. There's a bathroom attached to the room, the one with a compost toilet and marble bath. It is nice and clean, and doesn't smell bad at all, you can use it just like the ordinary bathroom except for the cool feel that it's not a boring ordinary bathroom) And it also smells fine) We had full access to kitchen, including oils, spices, teas, eggs, vegetables and berries ) The cats are sweet, especially Shadow - he took my heart. We would definitely come to stay here again and would recommend this place and these hosts to everyone who'd like to get a touch of remote living, organic foods, fresh air and forest silence.

    Liza&Ivan2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Charlene was an excellent host. She even cooked us breakfast and gave us vegetables from her garden to use when we cooked our dinner, and gave us advice for our stay in Yosemite. The cats are friendly, particularly Salty. We enjoyed playing the piano in the room and using the marble tub. She also let us use her laundry machines. The room was clean and had great views.

  • Nice little private room. Uncomfortable old mattresses and slumped. Decorating was outdated. Nice to have a smart tv in room. Way better than at a hotel. Didn't use the jacuzzi but it seemed nice and large. Definitely needs more comfortable beds and updates. Laminate flooring, granite and getting rid of the carpet would make it feel much cleaner.

  • The Rose room was spacious and a provided a good place for us to interact with our grandson. There was much more room than I originally expected. A short walk to a market next door gave us the opportunity to pick up a few things without having to drive to town. The room was very clean. Hosts were very responsive. Glad we stayed there!

    Matthew2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • First of all, the most important thing besides cleanliness is a comfortable bed and the beds here were great and I had a good nights rest. It was hot outside and air conditioning was a life saver. Appreciate the coffee and coffee machine. I didn’t bring a hairdryer so I called Dawn from the office and she brought one right over for me. A very nice stay.

    Gina2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Really awesome spot! Quaint little town

    Adam2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie greeted us and showed us to our room. With two girls in tow, the little couch and Netflix option was great for the needed rest time/space after our drive. The porch is really beautiful. Also, there’s a small shop (convenience store) next door with a small selection to help if you needed some cereal for the morning. It closed at 9 pm. We stayed on a weekday; I didn’t check to see the hours during weekends. The space was great for the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The bathroom was very clean and the room was spacious. We could spread out after our drive from Crater Lake. All in all, very pleasant experience. We went on a cave tour the next day. I highly suggest the tour! It’s a very curvy drive to the caves, so give yourself about an hour to get there so you can arrive early for your tour.

  • I would definitely return. I was unable to check in until after hours and they made sure to accommodate me regardless and left a key and detailed instructions. I was very grateful. The space was very clean and they provided water bottles and a coffee maker. Only suggestion I would make is to bring lots of blankets or a very warm sleeping bag. Despite the space heater running all night and 2 hefty blankets, it was still chilly inside. Mind you, it was in the low 20s that night. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. The showers were very warm and clean. Such a beautiful location!

There is a great store to pick up anything you need right around the corner as well. The stargazing from our hammock is our best memory there!

They were warm and welcoming from the moment we got there and even came to our camp spot and introduced themselves and asked if we needed anything our first night. The location was perfect for exploring the best sites in Northern California and southern Oregon. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Beautifully appointed cabin in the woods on a vineyard property, walking distance to our amazing treehouse wine tasting room. Cozy wood burning stove for cold evenings. Quiet country setting, yet all the amenities you need to be comfortable.
  • I can’t say enough positive things about Debbie’s thoughtful hospitality. The cabin was clean and very comfortable for our group of four. The kids loved staying in the bunk beds. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in O’Brien.

  • Beautiful property! Quick responses and cozy space. One bedroom with large bed and 2nd room had bunk beds. Kitchen has mini fridge and no appliances but they thoughtfully left oatmeal and coffee for breakfast! Wonderful walk through the vineyard and tasting room right on the river! Great for a getaway!

  • Just wow! This Airbnb was incredible! We woke up every morning to birds chirping and walked down to the river to enjoy the sun. We were close to town but still felt very relaxed and peaceful in the country. They put personal touches in the Airbnb to fit our stay and we’re so kind to us through out the visit.

  • Mark, Sabine and their kids were gracious hosts and we could not have asked for a better first Airbnb stay on their breathtaking property. The cabin was the perfect size, very clean and, accommodated our every need. The level of interaction with the Gattey family throughout the weekend was comfortable and left us with just the right amount of privacy.

Beautiful farmhouse cottage located on Augustino Estate and Vineyard, home of the amazing Treehouse wine tasting room. This is a working ranch & vineyard property in the Illinois Valley. Horses, cattle and amazing natural surroundings. Best of all, you can walk to the tasting room to enjoy award winning wines while looking out over the Illinois river.
  • Place was just as described. Highly recommended!

    Leah2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • After a last minute booking, Debbie was so accommodating with us, she couldn't have done any more! The cabin is beautiful, clean and on a working ranch! We loved our stay there, we only wished we could have stayed longer!

    Rebecca2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very relaxing cottage bordering a vineyard. We came out here to visit family and the cottage was a great place to visit and relax after a fun filled day in the sun. Coffee, cups, cook wear and utensils were all provided. Great little ranch style touches throughout, including a burl coffee table and lamps/light fixtures made of antler. The property is very peaceful and quiet, tucked well away from the highway. And the best part...the wine tasting in the treehouse on the same property!

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
It is a second story 700 sq. ft. apartment, with 2 balconies, beautiful views of mountains and valley.
Country living, large pastures, 5 min to the river. Completely fenced and gated. Mountains and trees.
  • Barbels Airbnb was one of my favorites. The porch looks out over the mountains and a beautiful field. The property is kept clean and fully fenced. The space itself was clean , stylish and was built with detail in mind . The kitchen cabinets were a work of art as well as the hardwood floors. The space was functional and worked perfect for our week long stay . Barbel and Bruce were welcome hosts and couldn’t Recommend staying here enough

  • We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend. It was the perfect location for us. The home was very clean and nice. The kids loved the play area outside and the sitting area and hot tub were great for relaxing in the evening. The hosts provided clear instructions on everything and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again on future visits.

Unique architecture, rural setting, breathtaking views, close to airport. Hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities are immediately available.
For rent here is a cozy room for $69/night. When you rent a room at the lodge you have full access to our kitchen which you're more than welcome to use our dishes, pots & pans etc. Enjoy a breathtaking view in our balcony, and the grounds. Free use of WiFi too. Captain Drake's lodge is a special and beautiful place. The lodge is perched atop a prominent hill that over looks the Siskiyou Mountains of northern California and offers breath taking views. The primary use of my lodge is to house aviation students that travel from out of the area to pursue their dreams of flight. However, my doors are also always open to folks that might not yet know they want to learn to pilot a small aircraft. Maybe they simply wish to stay the night or a week in a beautiful, relaxed, and comfortable hilltop lodge. There are many adventures to be found right out our door! Kayaking, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, zip-lining, wine tasting, caving, redwood forests, water falls, secret pools, museums and so on. If you have an interest , we can likely point you in the right direction to find your adventure! This room is a comfortable queen bed, desk, stocked with basic amenities, with extra sheets and pillows.
  • Spend some time out on the front deck it is such a beautiful view! And plan some time for stargazing the sky is so gorgeous exclamation

    Loretta2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience at our stay here. It's only a few miles off of 199 (about a 10 minute drive to downtown Cave Junction) & the signs were easy to follow, even at night. Check-in was a breeze. Everything was very clean and the view of the Siskiyou Mountains from the deck is awesome.

    Joe2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Expect a very steep climb - by car or walking - up to the house location. Great secluded place for those of us who like peace and quiet in the hills sometimes. And, if you time it right, an amazing series of nights with a full moon rising up from a gorgeous mountain range into a deep blue-black sky as seen from my bedroom window and the back (or is it the front?) of the house.

    Eileen2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful space. Perfect in between drive from San Francisco to Portland. It really was like staying with old friends. And the beds was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

  • Wolf and Dhonne are great hosts! A fabulous vacation! Great tips on local activities! Or you can join the fun with Wolf, aka, Captain Drake, and take it aerial in an airplane, or gyro plane! Just hanging out in the hangar is fun too!

    Linda2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were apprehensive before the trip since neither of us had stayed at a b&b before. Once we got the hang of being in someone else's house, I don't think we could have picked a better place for our first b&b. The view was fantastic, the house was beautiful, the hosts are hard working and so accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, made for a very good sleep. We ate breakfast on the back porch to a calming view, listening to the birds and wind in the trees. All in all, it was what I needed for an impromptu vacation and we look forward to returning.

  • This was the second time we stayed at Glenn's cabin and it was a wonderful experience again! I wish it was closer so that we could go there for a weekend getaway.

    Pinar2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect if you like camping but not the hassle of putting up a tent and sleeping on the ground. The location is beautiful, in the middle of nature. The cabin as well as the bathroom were very clean. The check-in was quick. Thank you for having us.

    Pinar2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn's place was great! It was exactly what we were looking for :) My husband & I love camping, but with me being 33 weeks pregnant we wanted a little bit more of a comfortable option for a bed. The cabin was exactly that! It was a simple cabin with the very basics, but still gave us the feeling of a camping weekend. Glenn and hosts were very accommodating when we arrived a bit later than we planned on which made check-in a breeze.

    Nora2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The feeling of camping and seclusion without the hassle of a tent and sleeping on the ground and also access to a hot shower and toilet when desired! The bathhouse requires a code to enter which was great because it allows the park to keep it SUPER clear and offers travel size soaps to its guests ❣ the bathhouse is far from the cabins, but there was a super clean port-a-potty with hand wash station which we used with no qualms. The cabin had a little table, dresser, mini fridge and coffee maker ❣ there were 5 of us staying in the cabin (My husband and I, and our 3 kids 10, 6 and 2) fit comfortably with the older 2 sharing the top bunk and pushing our bed next the the bottom bunk for our son to sleep on with no worries of rolling off. The 2 cabins are set to the back away from the RVs, but near large camping (tent sites) and closer to the swimming hole! Each site had a picnic table and fire pit too. The price was great and we would stay again!

  • This is a very lovely home/cabin located in a well maintained and safe RV Park. The camp hosts this year were amazingly helpful and friendly. The home has all of the amenities you would need, is clean and is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will return again in the future. Our only issues were that our AT&T mobile phones had no service and the Internet was spotty. It worked well in the mornings but by evening it was hard to connect and keep a connection.

  • Magical. We felt secluded, comfortable, and safe in our environment. The campground was serene and we could see sparkling stars for miles. Glenn was a caring host and went out of his way to make us feel at home. Don't miss out on this gem.

  • Clean and safe, my kids loved swimming in the pond and sleeping in a tipi. We will be back.

This is one room with twin bed and a private bath perfect for a solo traveller.
  • Had a minor hiccup with booking. Listing had the 'instant-book' option even though host did not intend for it to be so. Was given this room instead - https://www.airbnb.com.sg/rooms/2721504. No issue for me as a solo traveller. Nevertheless, very inviting host with great facilities, great place to meet interesting fellow travellers and Captain Drake's flying students. The view (and night sky) is amazing!

  • What an amazing experience! Wolf & Dawn are terrific hosts and make you feel very welcome in their amazing home, which is set high above Cave Junction with spectacular views. I chose the twin bed room with the private bath, but there are 2 other rooms and a nice bathroom. I felt very comfortable. We'll be back!
