Cooking Class and Market Tour with a Chef in Turin
Savor the secrets of Italian culinary art with a home cooking class in Turin. Let's first go to the local market to pick up fresh ingredients, immerse yourself in the local atmosphere to smell the true Turin food culture and learn how to choose the best seasonal produce. During the culinary experience you will have the opportunity to delve into the kitchen life of the Italians. I will guide you step by step in preparing and combining products according to Italian taste, discovering new techniques and methods for cooking healthy, good, saving energy and time. Depending on the season and your dietary restrictions, we will cook together different recipes, from fresh Handmade Pasta with a seasonal sauce to finish with a special dessert such as Tiramisú, Bounet or Bicerin Mousse. After cooking, we will share the meal together and you will take home a piece of true Italian culture, a new philosophy of cooking and, I hope, a new friend from Turin. Offering: Local outdoor market tour Meal Wine PDF book of my easy recipes to replicate at home List of my favorite places to eat in Turin Menu suitable for any food allergies and intolerances. In case of strong rain, snow or market not opened the class will be entirely at home with one recipe more. If are you an advanced foodie looking for a more challenging course, send me a message to define the menu together and satisfy your wishes!
UNUSUaL and hidden Turin for curious people
My tour is focused on the past and present beauty of Turin: its architecture, curious stories, society, lifestyle. - Why is architecture so different in just few blocks? - Is it true that natives are cold and fake? We'll be at my favorite area, the Medieval/Roman district, with its picturesque narrow streets, the market and its hidden treasures and where real people live (me too!). I suggest this tour if you want to understand the city with a NATIVE Art historian who knows many intriguing anecdotes about a less touristic face of Turin, with unique places that you couldn't otherwise find on your own or with other guides, far from the usual highlights. With a focus on the DETAILS that all tourists miss but you won't! My style's ironical, informal, interactive. Forget about the bored guides with umbrella, long lists of dates, as I want to give 100% of my attention to everyone and want you to deeply understand the city. Consider me your LOCAL witty FRIEND, not a guide! I'll share also some anecdotes of my (too much) Turinese family! ∎∎∎ DON'T BOOK IF YOU DIDN'T WRITE ME FIRST: the tour can be in four languages/times to be agreed together (NO calls, please) Write to W.App +39/3394604885: - how many people + age - dates + hours you wish - spoken languages ◉◉◉ GUARANTEED SCHEDULES: 6:00 or 9:00 PM, the most fitting, inspiring and enjoyable schedules. 2:00 PM possible at times

Food Tasting and Story Tour Hidden Gems of Turin
I will take my guests on a big Local Food Tasting and Story Tour that highlights Turin’s most hidden gems. Instead of following the classic tourist trails, I will take my guests to a local Food market where they will taste a world famous Piedmontese specialty and I will tell them the special story of Turin’s food markets. We will proceed and discover a very “Royal” food at one of the four best bakeries of Turin after which we will have full breakfast and an extensive coffee tasting at the (officially) Best Coffee Bar of the whole of Piedmont. All along the way, I will help my guests to discover the hidden gems of Turin and I will take them to two very special little shops ran by two of the most passionate and creative artisans of Turin. My guests can tell me before the tour what they are most interested in a part from food, and I will adapt my tour to bring them to the special gems that will be most to their taste. After our two shop visits, we will treat ourselves to a nice glass of wine with some cheese and salami and discover a new part of Italy… To end our tour in beauty we will do a last tasting of something sweet. Either we taste some of the most special chocolate of Turin while I tell my guests all about Turin’s fascinating chocolate history. Either we go for an extensive ice cream tasting at an award winning gelato shop. Temperature will decide…

Turin E-bike grand tour with a local guide
Meet your local host in the city center, choose your city e-bike and start this amusing 3 hours bike tour to discover the many souls and gorgeous monuments of Turin. It is a multi-faceted city, where luxury and modesty live together in perfect balance creating fascinating and interesting contrasts. Your first stop will be the heart of the historic center for a first introduction to the history of this beautiful Italian city, characterized by the Italian Royals: Savoia family. Pedal along elegant boulevards and reach Piazza San Carlo to admire the equestrian monument of Emanuele Filiberto of Savoia. Continue your visit reaching Piazza Carignano and see some of the most beautiful historical buildings, declared UNESCO World heritage since 1997. Follow easy cycling paths and enjoy the shade of elegant buildings until Piazza Castello and admire the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama and San Lorenzo Church. Finally, cross the monumental bridge over Po river, and climb the Cappuccini hill to enjoy a breathtaking view over Turin.
Nature, history and art at an unique Turin's Park
This tour is the perfect choice if you like baroque and landscape art, royal mansions, medieval castles and want to enjoy the riverside, squirrels and ducks in the most ancient public park of Turin, regardless of the season. It's also nice to walk on your own, but with an insider's look, without missing even a corner and in good company, it will be quite another story! The Off-The-Beaten-Track Wine Experience
***IMPORTANT*** We recommend this experience for a minimum of 2 people. Send us a message to request an alternative date! - Together we'll discover the Canavese area, where you'll have the opportunity to taste the main local wines, have lunch in a homely context and discover characteristic landscapes barely known outside Piedmont. We will leave by car from the center of Turin at 10.30 AM, reaching in about 40 minutes our first stop: an organic winemaker in the countryside around Caluso, known for the production of Erbaluce grapes, giving birth to a wide range of DOCG products. After a walk among the vineyards and the first tasting in the cellar, we will have lunch with local products prepared especially for us, and so we'll be ready for our next stop, 40 minutes away. The day will continue in Carema, a one-of-a-kind destination because of its peculiar terraced vineyards and stone columns. Once we have reached the village, we will walk among ancient streets and vines, and we'll finally reach the producers' cellar, where you will taste the two main types of Carema DOC. The return trip to Turin will last about 50 minutes and we should be back there by 5.30 PM. Other things to note - It's possible to request a vegetarian or gluten-free brunch - We recommend wearing shoes suitable for the walk in the vineyard.
ASK your Turin friend anything you want!
- Have you always wanted to ask an Italian those questions to finally clarify the clichés about Italy? - Will you (or a family member) move to Italy/Turin or are you considering to do that? - Are you studying Italian and want to practise with a teacher (me)? - Do you want to know more about society, customs, dialects that aren't mentioned in most of the books/guides? - Are you fascinated by Italian Art, Music, culture, movies, food? - Are you simply curious and sociable (or you are a solo traveller) and want to spend a 1.5 hour with me to have a cultural exchange and get a truly full picture of Turin? -Are you too tired to walk or the weather isn't suitable for walking? So I recommend you this informal PRIVATE chat if you want to know more about Turin (or Italy) from your LOCAL FRIEND who have been living there for 46 years. I'll answer all your questions (what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language, shopping, etc.). ∎∎∎ THIS IS NOT A TOUR: we'll NOT be visiting around, will have an enjoyable chat where we'll learn and discuss together your needs. ∎∎∎ IMPORTANT - ALWAYS WRITE TO ME BEFORE BOOKING, I ORGANIZE THIS EXPERIENCE ONLY UPON WRITTEN CONTACT (NO calls please): - how many people - dates and hours you wish - spoken languages W.App: +39/3394604885 *** IMPORTANT: NO drink or food is included in the price of the experience.
