“America's queen of comedy, Lucille Ball, hailed from the Western New York Region. As a tribute to her home town, a national museum has been established the Lucy Desi Museum. A center to celebrate comedy, there are exhibits and shows year round. Seriously, need a good laugh, thought it's off the beaten path, it's worth the trip. Lucy Desi Museum and Comedy Center is in Jamestown, New York, roughly 90 minute car ride away. Super craft brewery in the area, Southern Tier Brewing Company, which can be combined with a trip to Jamestown. ”

“One of America's oldest continually operating Amusement parks shelters the spinning and twirling cars of a Tilt-A-Whirl and a dragon-themed roller coaster. . A three-sided, 24-foot climbing wall challenges participants to spite gravity’s tyrannical reign before ringing the buzzer at its peak. Elsewhere, youngsters captain a kiddie boat or steer retro-modeled cars past a miniature roadway's street signs. Between rides, visitors can munch on cotton candy while peering out toward the shores of Chautauqua Lake from one of several picnic areas. ”
