Cemetery
“If you like cemeteries, you're in for a treat. Ross Bay Cemetery, established in the late 1800's, is the final resting place for many notable and interesting individuals including Emily Carr (artist), the Rogers family (chocolatier), and victims of the SS Princess Sophia which has been referred to as the "Titanic of the West Coast". Nature lovers take note, this is a hang out spot for many local deer (loved by some, loathed by others, especially gardeners), so keep an eye out. :)”

“Visit this cathedral. It is a site to behold! We often go to the playground across the street and use this as our washroom spot. ”

“Beginning at Songhees Point, walk along the Victoria waterfront to West Bay. The walkway is mostly level and is paved. At all points along this walk there are views of the harbour. Directions: From Downtown Victoria, cross the Johnson St. Bridge into Esquimalt. Turn Left on Songhees Road. There is a small amount of parking near the water.”

“Two Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:45. This is my church and of course I am partial to it. But I think you will be welcomed and the teaching and worship music are both excellent. This is a multi-generational church, with youth, singles, young families, and 80-somethings, with every other age in between. All are welcome!”

“No words on a page can ever represent the beauty and messiness of a real community, so we hope you will go beyond the page and join us for a season to see where God is at work among us - and in you. Our hope is that you will discover us to be a community seeking and following Jesus for the sake of our neighbours. History Lambrick Park Church (LPC) started in Victoria in 1964 when five families formed the church in what was then a new and growing area, Gordon Head. As a church plant from Oaklands Chapel, our background lies in a movement known as the Christian Brethren, and while the church can be described as 'independent' and 'non-denominational', we enjoy support and guidance from Vision Ministries Canada.”
