Medieval streets within the town walls hide curiosity shops, cafes, restaurants and now the steam trains of the Welsh Highland Railway starts it's journey from just by the castle. etc. This magnificent castle has a prominent position on the harbour side, from where boat trips are available along the coastline. For a treat, try air flights over Snowdonia from Caernarfon Airfield. Pwllheli (10ml), has a marina, craft shops and a weekly market on Wednesday. Snowdon is within 15 miles from Llanberis, where you can climb or take the train to the summit.
  • The house was just what we needed. Sea views and a bed for the night. Easy to find and with all basics provided. Thanks Aled!

  • Nice house, comfortable and warm. Gorgeous location and grey for exploring the local area.

  • Our five family members, plus one dog, spent a mid August week in Hafan. Despite the mixed weather we would all thoroughly recommend the cottage which is located close to a magnificent beach which sweeps around the seashore and is moments away.. The hamlet of Aberdesach is quaint in a practical sort of way and is visited daily by a few visitors who obviously appreciate the view of the sea, especially the sunsets. The cottage itself is compact and friendly and lends itself to family life. The small area at the back of the cottage is good and we managed to have an instant barbecue one evening. It is a cottage that we feel we would like to return to!

  • We had a fantastic time in the well located cottage, only a stones throw away from the beach and located within a few miles of shops and sightseein. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable with lovely views from every window, will definitely stay here again, Aled was a fantastic and attentive host.

  • Lovely place and was perfect for what we needed.

  • Hafan house is in a lovely old tiny cluster of cottages by the sea with gorgeous Welsh views of the mountains and fields. It's a perfect spot to get away yet be close to easily visit Caeranfon castle and climb Snowdon. The house is older but has charm and all you need for a great stay including beautiful dishes. Aled is very helpful, responsive and easy to call. I wish we could have stayed longer!

    Carolyn2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage initially. It seems that (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps places Hafan in the center of a street near McDonald's in Caernarfon. However, Delyth guided us to the correct location easily. The cottage was great, and so close to the beautiful beach. We stayed there to explore the local area. It is close to Caernarfon and Snowdon. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay again.

  • Great location and facilities. Just the right size. Would recommend. Especially if you like having a quiet beach on your doorstep :)

A charming Victorian house in peaceful grounds, offering a warm friendly welcome. Spectacular sea and mountain views. Ideal for discovering the magic of North Wales, Snowdonia and the Llŷn Peninsula. Currently 2 en-suite bedrooms available.
  • Meirion and Karen were excellent hosts. They made us feel welcomed and were very accommodating. We arrived later than expected on the first night but they still made us some food and helped use plan our next day. They were very helpful, lending us a map and suggesting what path to take up to Snowdon peak and which pubs to stop off at on the way back. They are very knowledgeable about the area. The Place we better than descried. The room was big with a comfortable bed, shower and a great view of the sea. Outside in the beer garden you have beautiful view of the sea. Perfect for watching the sun go down. The neighbourhood was as expected very quite and a country vibe. Everyone knows each other and I felt very safe

  • We stayed here for one night and had a great stay. We were very welcomed right from arrival, and the hosts gave us great local information to help us with our evening and daytime plans. The room was nice and breakfast great, and the view from the window was amazing! Overlooking the sea, which we had a very nice walk on. Thank you for a lovely, enjoyable and welcoming stay.

  • Great room, food and hosts in this country guest accomodation in a gorgeous setting overlooking the sea. Couldn't have asked for more for my stay. Would definitely recommend to all if visiting North Wales and surrounding areas.

  • I was travelling in Wales for a short break with my son. We had a lovely stay with Meirion and Karen. We arrived very late and the satnav sent us to the wrong location. I phoned from the village and Meirion immediately came out in the car to show us the way. We sat in the bar with a drink chatting to Karen and Meirion, who are lovely couple. The room was great. It had a double bed and single bed which were both really comfortable. The view towards the sea was lovely. Fresh milk for the tea, lots of towels and a robe if we'd wanted to use it were really nice homely touches. The shower was great. Cooked breakfast was very good, especially the bacon. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

  • Loved our stay here. Has everything you need. Lovely view and warm and cosy. Lounge was a bit of a squeeze for 6, could do with another couch. But this is a minor gripe in what was a lovely weekend.

    Mark2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the cottage was adequate, but this stay certainly didn’t live up to the 4.5 stars that this cottage has on Airbnb. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom with two single beds in it. Upon arriving at the cottage tour room was filled with bugs (the windows were all open and it was 2am). The house also smelt very musty and there was also a strong highly perfumed smell coming from somewhere in the room - I found it a bit overpowering. The duvet covers were very old in our room (they seemed to be slightly better in the other double bedrooms) and the pillows very uncomfortable. The beds were very hard, but I don’t mind a hard bed. If I had known about the state of the bed linen in our room I would have preferred to bring my own. There is nothing worse than pulling something that looks a bit suspect up to your face for the night. Also worth noting: * Bathroom lights didn’t work upon arrival (fun!!!) - I contacted Ifor and received no response. We went out the next day to climb up Snowdon. We came back later that evening to find it fixed, I had wondered if the message had been received though… * There were 6 of us and we weren’t provided with enough towels for the 6 of us - thank goodness we were couples who were prepared to share * Mugs in the cupboard were filthy - so we all washed all of the utensils before using them - oh but there was also no washing detergent, there was no plug for the sink and we were given very dirty plastic basin to attempt to wash in - gross. * Only two rolls of toilet paper were supplied for the 6 of us - keep that in mind, you will need to buy more as this is inadequate for 6 people staying for two nights. I would feel more comfortable in a hostel, and have had a better (cheaper) nights sleep in much cleaner, fresher sheets in a hostel. I am also a solid air bnb user, who usually feel like I receive value for money. Along with a pleasant stay, it generally feels like I am at home. I was excited at the prospect of staying in a home with a 4.5 star rating, however this is without a doubt the worst home I have stayed in. I failed to get much sleep on the first night due to the smell of the bedroom, thank goodness for the physical exhaustion and also for red wine which allowed me to have a better sleep on Saturday evening. I would consider myself as an easy going person who isn't fussy, but appreciates good value for money. I feel like this accommodation isn’t priced fairly (the 6 of us paid £71 each incl service fee). I also fail to understand how it has 4.5star reviews. I would star...

A cluster of 3 farm buildings in a secluded position in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set within 5 acres including garden, stream, picnic areas, games field, campfires and secluded beach. Designed for families sharing, sleeps 10 - 14.
Created using eco-friendly materials and techniques in a cluster of three farm buildings, Ty Coch is a modern take on the holiday home for extended families. You can book all three - the Dairy, the Cottage and the Barn - for exclusive use, and with them comes five acres of land, bordered by a beach and a stream, on which to run wild, make camp, shoot the breeze with a beer and barbecue beneath the stars. The main road is at the end of the long, gated track, so children can dash around the three cottages in safety. There are five bedrooms in total, sleeping 14 (if you want to fill the place to capacity), but each house is a self-contained unit so smaller parties won't feel lost. The focal point is the massive table in the Dairy's communal kitchen which, sensibly, has two of everything, including fridges, so everyone can get together at least once a day to swap stories over a meal. Sleep up to 10 adults + 4 children. Dogs by arrangement only.
Ty Coch has a very secluded coastal position in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Llyn Peninsula. Close to the Wales Coastal Path and cycle route and within easy reach of Snowdonia, Anglesey and south Llyn beaches. The property has uninterrupted views across Caernarfon Bay to Anglesey and Holy Island. There are no neighbouring properties. The property includes 500m pebble beach frontage (with large sandbank at low tide) good for swimming, fishing and beach-combing. The village of Clynnog Fawr, St Beuno's stunning medieval church and local shop are within easy walking along a green lane from the beach.
  • We count ourselves as fortunate to have stayed in the little gem “The Red Welly”. Nothing was missing from this well thought out luxury stay. Good instructions up front with plenty of options for activities in the area, a large thoughtful welcome basket with local produce, immaculately clean accommodation with high quality linens. Loads of books, board games and outdoor things available (afternoon croquet a must!). The main (Dairy) kitchen well laid out with loads of cooking utensils, and a dishwasher, with an onsite washing machine/dryer. There were plenty of supplies of detergents and sundry. Our only difficulty was agreeing on who would sleep where in the 3 separate buildings. Each building has its own identity, which must suit every party. The dairy has the huge table (seats at least 20) with doors opening out to a large mown grassy area, the barn has a tv (which was never on), and the cottage has the fireplace. Bathrooms all have huge baths with excellent supply of hot water. The grounds are huge and lead down to the beach. We didn’t see a soul during our stay, but the local village has “salt of the earth” type people. The owners have obviously spent plenty of time making this a well run establishment, and we can’t fault any part of our stay. Thankyou Julie for providing such a wonderful experience for our family.

  • Amazing! I couldn't recommend the place more. From the moment we arrived to unfortunately having to leave we couldn't think how it could be any better. Several of our party are already working out dates when they can revisit. The cottages and surroundings are phenomenal. Just beautiful and an absolute pleasure to explore. As good as they look and sound the pictures and descriptions do not do this place justice. If you are contemplating booking just do it! On top of how amazing the accommodation and surroundings are the setup is fantastic. I had the pleasure of catering to our party for the weekend and everything is so well put together dealing with everything and everyone was a breeze. The arrival was un-manned and well planned so very smooth. Literally every detail was spot on! The only other thing to say is thank you Julie!

    Kate2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication in advance. Lovely welcome pack provided. Very well equipped overall. We were unsure about being split in 3 buildings but it actually worked really well. The Dairy is a brilliant space for everyone, but people could get away for a bit of privacy when needed. The gardens were very well kept, with a mown path down to the beach. Great area for footy with the kids!

    Caleb2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic property. Absolutely beautiful views and the property is finished to a great standard. A group of 10 of us stayed, there was plenty of room for all of us in the living rooms and dining area and you had all the equipment you would need. Will definitely be staying here again.

    Sarah2017-02-12T00:00:00Z

  • Came here with two other families. The properties are fantastic. It means that everyone can get together but still have their own space. We've booked again for the summer. Fantastic find.

  • The most idyllic, gorgeous place we have stayed in so far. We rented it for a surprise 30th birthday party for my partner, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We had a great time and Julie has been a fantastic host. Our dogs also loved it, there was so much to discover for them. It could not have been a more relaxing weekend away. Pictures don't do this place any justice. It's incredible stunning. We are already thinking about coming back next year! Thanks for everything!

It's available for rent on our small ecological/permaculture farm. It sleeps 2-4 comfortably, making it ideal for couples or small families. The yurt has a wood burner, double bed and two single futons. It also has off-grid lighting for night time.
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping' We don't have a fancy toilet block, a new kitchen for you to use, nor even a toilet right by the yurt... It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Yurt is 100 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! But we do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available) - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A hot shower, flush toilet and washing machine etc in the farmyard. Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.
We are in a brilliant spot, only two miles from the beach and only a fifteen minuet drive from the foot of Mt Snowdon.
  • A fantastic experience. The yurt was comfortable warm and cosy. The woodburning stove created a warmth even in the pouring rain. Matt was very accommodating, he didn't even make fun of me for not bringing any wellies. No request was too much trouble. Matt is warm friendly and cheerful. The converted cowshed was a great spot to regroup with books maps and a sofa, also tea-making facilities. We will be staying again and recommending to our friends.

  • My boyfriend and I had a brilliant stay at Henbant Farm. Matt and Jenny were really lovely and welcoming. The farm is really beautiful, and the yurt is ideally positioned for great views, lots of privacy and space to have open fires. It was also well located for lots of outdoor activities, like Snowden and very near the sea. We were out quite a lot, so didn't cross paths with Matt until he came to the yurt to say hi, which was really lovely of him. He stocked us up with logs for the fire as well, which was much appreciated! The yurt had good cooking facilities, which I was a bit worried about before we went. I did message Matt about it before we came, and he messaged back really quickly with more information about what was available and it served us well throughout our stay (my boyfriend needs feeding quite a lot!). The wood burner kept us warm as well, which was great! Matt let us stay an extra night, which was great! Would definitely recommend the yurt, and hope to go back soon! Thanks Matt & Jenny

  • Dear Matt, What a great initiative. Thanks for sharing this experience with us. Both Jan Willem and myself could not have thought of a better way to begin our trip. See you next year!

  • Every little detail was thought of by Matt and family. From the matches for the fire, the eggs for our breakfast, to the awesome handmade bed and the brilliant yurt itself, everything about our 48 hours here was great. Matt was welcoming and friendly and we felt very comfortable despite the wind and rain throughout!

    Lucy2015-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing place, loads of space so you didn't feel overlooked. Really friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful views and magical secret woodland hammocks! Take a bucket, as walking to the loo at night is treacherous from the yurt!

    Lucy2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • An incredibly beautiful location wih view on the sea from the yurt. All the necessary amenities available as long as one doesn't mind a little walk. Matt and his family were lovely and welcoming. The fire was the highlight of our evenings! Will definitely go back!

    margaux2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Matt and his wife were both very welcoming hosts. The yurt is in a fantastic location and the views of Anglesey / Snowdonia were stunning!! We were very lucky with weather although there was a massive thunder / hail storm on our first night... but I'm pleased to report that the yurt was very sturdy, 100% waterproof and survived the onslaught! The bed is also very warm and comfortable. The log burner adds a bit of heat but it is still a bit chilly by morning. I must also add that it was great to see all the lambs running around too. This was my first airbnb experience and we were not disappointed. We would definitely stay again but probably in the summer!

    Simon2016-04-01T00:00:00Z

Can Yr Aderyn is a beautiful long, quirky Welsh cottage at the top of the Llyn Peninsula, nestled in the hills between the coast and Snowdonia National Park. Halfway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog, it is ideally placed to visit the incredible number of beautiful spots in the great undiscovered jewel of Britiain, north Wales. The beaches nearby are breathtaking, the scenery stunning and the hamlet of Tai'n Lon is a peaceful haven. Just across the road is a public footpath into the countryside.
Can Yr Aderyn is a single-storey cottage. There is only one step inside, into the main bedroom, otherwise the only steps are a few up to the garden so it is good for those with limited mobility. The house oozes character and charm with 2-foot thick rustic walls and quarry tiles throughout. It is centrally heated and has a log burner in the lounge. We only use 100% cotton bedding.
Tai'n Lon is a beautiful quiet hamlet tucked away in a sheltered spot with very little traffic, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside.
  • Warm house, nice holder, the location is not difficult to find ,strong recommend.

A get away in a rural area on the edge of the Snowden Nation Park. Completely off the beaten track. The house is situated approximately nine miles south of Caernarfon, in the village of Tai'n Lon standing close by the landmark 13th century St Beunos Church near the village of Clynnog Fawr. The immediate area is designated as one of outstanding natural beauty, with abudent wildlife, breathtaking mountain views dropping away to sandy beaches and rocky coves. You will enjoy views of the Eifl Mountains (the Rivals), Caernarfon Bay, the foothills of Snowdonia and, to the north, Ynys Mon (the Isle of Anglesey). Your home is ideally situated for exploring the magic of North Wales' historic castles, sites of ancient mystery and legendary beaches, coves and the spectacular scenery of the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey, with endless opportunities for hiking and walking, myriad challenging golf courses and, of course, the wonders of Snowdonia. A great base from which to explore this part of North Wales. Caernarfon, Criccieth and Penrhyn Castles are all within 30 minutes, steeped in Celtic history and heritage and a stronghold of the Welsh language. The island of Anglesey is within easy reach (25 miles) and well worth a visit. Beaumeris being one of my favourite stops for ice cream, fish and chips and stunning scenery! A place to relax and enjoy the countryside and beautiful nearby beaches of Dinas Dinlle and Nefyn. We offer a warm house with oil central heating and gas fire. There is a spacious, well eqipped kitchen, with washing machine; cooker; microwave: fridge/freezer. The living room has a leather three seater and a two seater setee. In addition, the light and airy conservatry, looking out onto the welsh hills, has 2 x two seater bamboo seatees. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed the other two have single beds. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower. The garden is gated and ideal for children. Situated in a small quiet village, with the local shop about 2 miles away, take aways about 5 miles, so bring a few bits with you. Public transport is about 2 miles on the a499. Both families with children, couples or groups have enjoyed staying with us. Pwllheli is probably the nearest market town, 10 miles away. A busy market town (Wednesdays) with art galleries and popular sailing and watersports centre. See the wildlife, seabirds and dolphins - on costal cruises. An excellent leisure centre to keep the kids entertained, along with activity-packed Glasfyn Parc. From the front door you can take one of the footpaths, or you coud take the Loneifion cycle track, along the disused railway line to Caerarfon. We hope to here from you soon.

  • The house is really comfortable and had everything we needed. It's much larger than we expected and really feels like a home. Wyn had provided all the info we needed prior to arrival sos much so that we didn't even need to call him! A great place for both couples and small families.

  • We had such a lovely break. The small village is very quiet and peaceful. It is a lovely house with all that you would need. There is a big TV with a couple of movies that you could enjoy in front of the electric fire place. Or you can just relax in the sun room with a nice book.

    Werner2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, good set up, everything we needed (though wi fi would have been great but we missed that in the description!). Lots of maps and local info provided and friendly neighbours.

Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic, We have lived in North Wales for 10 yrs and still think it can rival any destination in the world. Spend the morning on the beach, lunch overlooking a castle and the afternoon 3,000 feet up a mountain, you can't beat the diversity.
  • Hosts very welcoming! Made us a lovely cake and provided us with all the basics I.e coffee tea, bread and butter! location very rural but lots to see on the peninsula and ideal for walkersb and dogs. Beautiful cottage next to a babbling brook. I saw a kingfisher

    Amy2016-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • A very spacious, 2 bedroom house with high ceilings. There is a private gated garden at the back with a direct access to a stream which our dog loved. Washing machine in the property, fluffy big towels that got washed mid stay and bedding got changed too. Really nice decor ecpecially in the twin/kids bedroom. We found walking to Trevor beach a bit too far but its 5 mins drive away. Super convienient for walks up Yr eifl.

  • The cottage fits its description well and is well equipped, with excellent beds and lovely outdoor area next to full flowing small river. Our family of two adults and 2 (younger) teenage children were very comfortable here. The location is ideal for exploring the Lleyn peninsula, Snowdonia and north to Caernarfon and beyond and Anglesey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Christopher2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was a gorgeous weekend away. Our journey there was less that desirable with us arriving much later than intended, but Jeff very kindly waited up for us despite the hour. We were treated to milk bread and organic butter, and would you believe the very thoughtful gift of a homemade cake. That has never hapenned to us before. The cottage is so much bigger and more spacious than in the picture and so comfortable. The whole place was spotless which is really pleasing, lots of towels and the beds were so comfy with lovely linen and lots of storage space. So many great places around to get to each day and we loved Portmerion and Betsy-e-coen. Needless to say we slept like tops each night. This really has felt like a mini holiday, and we would have loved to stay longer. We have shared photos with all of our friends and family during our time here who may well be lining up to go too. A really great place to stay

    Anita2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place to stay for peace, tranquility and beautiful countryside on the doorstep. We instantly felt at home, everything we needed was in the house and we had our own babbling brook out the back to boot which our dog thought was brilliant. We were lucky with the weather, the sun was out the back and front of the house most of the day, and a wander down to the Wales Coast Path and the little beach was an easy stretch of the legs. We will be back for more r and r!

    Emma2016-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent base for exploring the area & a trip up Snowdon. Comfortable, cosy & clean. Would definitely recommend.

  • My mother and I loved staying at this cottage in Trefor, it was cozy and warm, not too small, and we loved the location. Jeff and his wife Shirley were very both very friendly and kind enough to assist us with any queries we had or any help we needed to make our stay in the area enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying at Jeff and Shirley's cottage.

  • Great place to stay - very well appointed, friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful spot. This is an excellent place to stay while exploring Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsula, Angelsea and Caernarfon. Lots of local walks from beaches to mountains. Also lovely to arrive to find milk, butter, bread, tea, and coffee on hand. Definitely on our recommended and revisit list.

This spacious and delightful traditional welsh terraced cottage sits just a short stroll from a sandy pebble-backed beach, village stores and pub. Ideally located for exploring the area’s beautiful beaches and coastline, it lies on the foothills of Yr Eifl and is within easy reach of a host of family attractions including Caernarfon.
At the foot of Yr Eifl, the tallest hills on the peninsula, lies the village of Trefor, which owes its very existence to the quarries on the hills above it. Granite from Yr Eifl quarry has been used to make Olympic Curling Stones, as well as many curb stones in the larger towns and cities of England and Wales. Trefor's small harbour offers a small sandy beach, on this otherwise fairly rocky stretch of coastline, as a wander to the end of the old pier illustrates as you look either way along the shore. The pier is popular with fishermen and there are many walks which explore the coast and hills that start from the village. Trefor is a close community with basic facilities available at it's centre. The village is roughly 8 miles from Pwllheli and 12 miles from Caernarfon.
"Sea and mountains, old and new, liveliness and solitude, culture and apathy, industry and beauty - it is a place full of contrasts, but there's only one Trefor."

My place is close to the beach, family-friendly activities, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy beds, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
We have a lovely room at the back of the house with a full wall window to sit and joy the peaceful view..
It is a peaceful unspoilt village but close to tourist attractions There is a corner shop at the top of the street, post office opposite the house that also sells essentials. We have a pub about a minute walk from the house called (Y Twr). Directions and map to the pub is in the house
  • A beautiful little cottage, sleeps 5 comfortably. A lovely cottage to come back to after hiking in the hills and a day at the beach. A great place to access the rest of the Lynn Peninsula from here.

  • Beautiful, clean, cosy cottage, good location, friendly neighbours and close to the beach. Good spot for exploring North Wales. Katrina made sure our stay was just right for us and replied to messages quickly. Would definitely recommend this place.

  • My friends and I stayed at Trefor Cottage for the weekend so that we could go mountain climbing in Snowdonia. The cottage was lovely, much more spacious on the inside than the exterior photo implies. It has a really lovely cottagey feel throughout. The bread, cheese, milk and wine provided on arrival was very much appreciated. We found the utility room facilities a real bonus as we got thoroughly soaked climbing Snowdon, and to have clean dry kit to head out in the next day was great! We loved the seating area with the big window overlooking the back courtyard garden, where we sipped wine in the evening and planned our next days adventures. Beds were lovely and comfy too (very big doubles) and everything was spotlessly clean. We had mountains to climb and did not have a chance to check out any other attractions but there seems to be lots of things to do and see in the surrounding area and the drive down the coast is lovely and scenic. We had a great weekend stay here and would happily recommend this lovely property to other guests. Thank you Katrina for sharing your lovely home with us.

    Dee2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing stay in this cottage. I stayed with my parents and brother and it was the perfect space for us to relax after a day walking in the local area. Really handy shop on the corner and a much appreciate welcome pack! Will definitely be back again!

  • We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s place. The rooms are a good size, the cottage is very well-equipped and the shop at the end of the road had pretty much all we needed for 4 days. We spent quite a lot of time in the sun room which is lovely. Sioned & her father Maurice were very friendly and helpful and gave us some good tips about where to walk the dog and other info. We spent some time in Morfa Nefyn, walking over to the Ty Coch Inn (stunning location) and eating at The Cliffs (stunning views). Enjoyed visiting sunny Abersoch, walking around the lovely Glynllifon Country Park (following the tree trail, bat trail and art trail) and our kids loved the activities at Glasfryn Park which is only 5 mins drive away from Trefor. Altogether a great place to visit!

    Caroline2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay! A beautifully kept and and designed terrace cottage, with great views, a well-equipped kitchen, a living room fire, and everything you need for a fantastic visit. Nice neighbours, everything well organised, great walks and the beach nearby.

    John2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was pleasant. The keys were handed over without any problems. In fact, we came later than expected and this did not cause any problems. We were very pleased with our stay and we can only recommend this cottage to others. It is in great location for exploring North of Wales. If there is one thing that the host should improve is to change several Teflon pans and pots which were too scratched for use. All in all great stay. We would not mind coming back.

  • The house is nice with a beautiful garden and there are shops a few miles away. The hosts are very friendly and help where they can :) the room was fine. You even can use kind of a living room beside your actual bedroom and can use the kitchen to cook. And the dogs are adorable (:

    Tobias2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location, friendly hosts, and great doggies too :) It was an excellent start point to explore Anglesey and North West Wales with a 'home away from home' feel that is very child-friendly too. Our toddler was happy to run around and took to David and Maggie immediately; as hosts (all four!), they added dimension to our stay. Wifi was decent enough to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) family far away, and there is plenty of space just to slouch. With things to do just a drive away, there are lots of opportunities to keep young ones busy whatever the weather. The promise of a luxuriously deep bath to soak and sink into when back from a days trek was the icing on [our ninth anniversary] cake.

  • Very quite and host very pleasant to deal with. Accommodation excellent and well worth the money

    eddy2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts are very welcoming and look after you well. At the same time, they are not intrusive and we very much felt like we had our own space. The private rooms were clean and spacious with a few interesting choices on the bookshelf. The dogs are friendly and very good with children and the location of the house is in a truly beautiful part of the countryside. We would recommend this airbnb as a great base for anyone looking to explore the area, whether already familiar with Lleyn or visiting for the first time. The hosts communicated with us well before we arrived and as the weather was not great for our visit we did spend more time inside than we had intended. However, we were quite comfortable inside during this time - reading and relaxing. The calmness of the house was intoxicating and we would have been very happy to spend a second week there, had it been possible.

  • Owen's Mum was a wonderful hostess! She encouraged my husband to speak Welsh with her every day and he totally enjoyed and benefited from that! She showed interest in our activities and suggested new places for us to visit. She was thoughtful and kind and made us feel very welcome!

    Mary Ann2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at the Mill House, Owen's mother was very nice and friendly to us and she made us feel at home. The master bedroom with ensuite was spacious and cosy with a very comfy bed and the rest of the property was just as described. We had a great long weekend exploring the Snowdonia National Park and we even got some great tomato chutney to take home with us.

  • Owens gorgeous Mum, Megan greeted us at the house after Owen came to where we were to "rescue" us after we got lost! Owen had to go away for business but we had a lovely time and learnt a lot about the area and the Welsh language from Megan. Large, cosy room with a very comfortable bed. There is no fan in the ensuite toilet. Gorgeous area, close to lots of attractions. We enjoyed our visit with Megan very much.

  • Owen was away on business and his mum was a perfect host. Location is as described and the accommodation excellent. We had a lovely stay.

    Roger2016-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • There is no doubt that Owen's lovely mum, Megan, is what transforms this property into a 5 star accommodation. Megan made us feel welcome and even provided homemade cupcakes upon our arrival. She allowed us to use the washing machine and dryer as we had been on the road for a while and run out of clean clothes. For this price range, we recommend a stay at Owen's (and his mum's) place.

    Celina2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • We were 2 night at Megan's house, she was very welcoming to us. The house is beautiful, the bedroom big enough to be very comfortable, with a very comfy double bed and ensuite toilet. The bathroom downstairs with a wonderful shower. The sourounding area is full of green, birds, flowers. Recommendable

  • Glenda' place is very spacious and would suit a large party or family. Did feel rural despite being just off of a main road. Situated next to the main house. Own access and parking. You need a torch or phone torch to navigate from the bungalow to the car as the path isn't lit. Didn't cause us a problem as most phones have a torch. Hot tub was fun to sit in with a glass of bubbly. Was a freezing weekend but it was still lovely to be in the hot tub. Snowden about 20-30 mins away so totally doable from Glenda place. Ensure you shop before you go for food and household bits as there is no welcome pack but supermarkets are not too far away by car. A very pleasant stay, thank you

  • Very friendly and helpful hosting by Kieran, enjoyed learning about the house and area over a cuppa with other guests. Will stop over again if in the area for sure.

Penygroes is a great central location, whether you need a base to tour the tourist hotspots of Snowdonia (Eryri) & the Llyn Peninsula (Pen Llyn) or a quiet retreat to explore the local area by bike and foot.
  • Location is very good. 2 minutes walk from cooperative supermarket. I like the bathroom for being so cleAn. Drive to tourist attractions are very accessible. Thanks to Deio for being so nice and hospitable.

  • I didn't met Deio as he was away for the weekend, but he was so helpful and informative about the local area before my arrival - giving me tips about local sights and legends which really enhanced my stay! His home is perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia and the coast!

    Charlotte2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Deio is a great host, very friendly, helpful and social. His home is excellent with everything you need, clean and comfortable, in a beautiful place near the cost. We really enjoyed our stay there, definitely will be back one day and will recommend Deio to others as a great host!

  • Fantastic place to stay, clean, warm and extremely friendly. Deio is a fantastic host, great at accommodating to work around your trip. Brilliant conversation and excellent shower . Great use of the kitchen (gas hobs, Fantastic). Slept like a log here and with such easy access to the coast and Snowdonia and the national park. I will definitely be back in the future and recommend my friends and family to Deio. Thanks again

  • This airbnb was good value for money. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Deio wasn't there for our check in as we booked last minute but was was quick to sort out keys and replied promptly to any questions. This is a good stop point in Snowdonia area. Thankfully we were able to use the kitchen as there wasn't much restaurant-wise in the area.

    niamh2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Deio was a particularly accommodating and friendly host who happily helped us out last minute and even moved out so we could take his whole house at a very reasonable rate. I would thoroughly recommend staying at his place.

  • Diolch yn fawr, a lovely caravan in a beautiful location. It was just what we were looking for and will definitely be recommending. Hope to return again. The pint of milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes were a lovely welcome and a good chat with you also appreciated, I just need o brush up on my Welsh :-)

  • Dafydd's caravan is great value - modern, spacious and stocked with everything we needed for a family holiday for 4. It's in a great location with easy access (by car) to many of the things on offer in North Wales. It's about a half hour drive from both Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Dafydd and his wife were also very friendly and helpful - they helped us out with a travel adaptor when we arrived. The caravan is very well set up - if you prefer a secluded rural location then I happily recommend it.

Beautifully located less than a minutes walk from the stunning blue flag beach at Dinas Dinlle. A spacious, cosy farmhouse that sleeps 6. 1 double room, 1 king room, 1 twin room. FREE Wifi. Ample parking for cars, bikes, kayaks and boats. Garden.
To the rear of the property are 4 privately owned holiday chalets which are not part of the rental.
Dinas Dinlle is a small hamlet approximately 6 miles from Caernarfon. There is an Iron Age hill fort, Caernarfon airport, a couple of shops and cafes and a huge blue flag beach
  • Couldn't recommend this house more. It is a stones throw from a quiet beach, which at low tide becomes a beautiful sand beach. We enjoyed an afternoon playing cricket on the pitch, a couple of swims in the sea and a sunset walk every evening. This beach is such a hidden gem which my family and I loved. It is in a quiet and remote location, but still easy to get to. About 30 minutes from lots of key attractions around snowdonia such as Snowdon and Anglesey. The house is lovely with a beautiful conservatory that soaks in the sun! It is also very cosy for when the wind and rain arrive (inevitable in Wales!). With plenty of board games and DVDs to satisfy your wet weather needs. Had such a lovely stay - thank you Julie!

    Bethany2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay here - the cottage is much bigger than we were expecting and just a great base to have in the area. Staying with kids and in great weather meant lots of time on the beach but I hope to return with adults for the Snowdonia side of things - those sofas and views are perfect for relaxing after a hard day...

    Simon2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed end of August as a group of four adults and two teenagers. Couldn't have wished for more. If you are unfamiliar with the area, you couldn't imagine a better location. A Blue flag beach on your doorstep (which almost feels like a private beach) and the majesty of Snowdonia National Park laid out before you in the other direction. Home is clean, huge and yet cosy, with decor that suits the area well. We were easily able to whip up meals in the kitchen and enjoyed time around the table in the evening with card games and the like after we had swam in the sea and enjoyed the sunset. Julie was an excellent host who provided clear instructions and made sure home was as expected. Gestures like tea and coffee being present on arrival were lovely added touches and most welcome. If you're looking for a bolt-hole for a relaxing holiday by the sea, this is it. Equally, if you're looking to be well located for a holiday packed with activities, this is a brilliant choice. We climbed Snowdon, visited Portmeirion, took a boat ride from Angelsey and swung through the tree-tops on zipwires in Betws-Y-Coed and all were within easy striking distance by car. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

    Edward2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay in Julie's house, the location, the house everything was amazing! I would highly recommend staying here if you're traveling to North Wales

  • Lovely, spacious house with the beach right on your doorstep. Perfect during the summer and winter. A group of 4 of us came for a New Year's getaway. We fell in love with the house and its picturesque scenery. Julie was always quick to respond and very helpful. Plenty of space for parking. Due to the remote location there were some issues with the wifi connection whilst doing some university work. However, it works fine on mobile phones/tablets and I mentioned. A must for visitors is to have a walk on the beach and watch the sunrise or sunset; its absolutely beautiful. We would definitely like to come back and stay in the future :)

    Millie2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • This house was exactly what was promised: fantastic beach accessibility and a beautiful spacious cottage. We could not have been happier with our stay. Look forward to returning again.

  • Our stay was most enjoyable!- The house was beautiful & comfortable. Julie was an excellent host readily available by phone when we needed assistance or had questions. She even went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable when something had to be ordered for one of the rooms while we were there! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable visit to Dinas Dinlle!

This wonderful farmhouse has been lovingly restored in harmony with its natural environment . Eco friendly, Pantymoeliad is surrounded by glorious gardens and woodland walks and was the original home of the legendary architect - Clough Williams-Ellis, whose quirky village at Portmeirion is close by. The perfect base to explore the very best of the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia, this glorious house promises the perfect holiday.
Pantymoeliad has been finished to an exceptionally high standard. The spacious entrance hall is full of light and leads into the Living Room with squishy caramel leather sofas and high back comfortable armchairs. The original wooden fireplace is the centre of the stage and we do provide our own logs for the woodburning stove. The floors are of local slate and compliment the furnishings. And the views! Windows on all sides look out onto the gardens. The spacious kitchen/diner has slate floors, high pale wood ceilings and a huge oak refectory table with seating for 8 and, of course, lots of Portmeirion crockery. French windows lead onto the garden where clever seating areas have been built into the local stone. A separate utility room with a washer and drier which connects to a wet room with shower, loo and sink. Two steps lead to Bedroom 1 which has a great en-suite and is perfect for those guests who struggle a little with the stairs. A stable door leads onto the patio. Three further bedrooms upstairs – all carpeted in grey to match the local slate – and a further family bathroom. Bedroom 4 has bunk beds which will delight the children and Bedroom 2 a flat screen TV. The wall art has been carefully chosen and mainly by local artists. All the bedrooms share glorious views across the gardens towards Cardigan Bay. A majestic Chestnut Tree gives shade in the substantial garden with plenty of room for al fresco dining.
We are ideally located for Absersoch, Criccieth, Llanbedrog, Pwllheli and the superb 84 mile Llyn Coastal Path. Glorious Snowdon is only a short drive away. There are stunning views across to Cardigan Bay from the landscaped gardens. We also own Glasfryn Parc - Snowdon's premier activity park.

The house has 3 bedrooms, large lounge, dining room and kitchen. Bed linen is not routinely provided, we do have a supplier and price if required. There is a very large garden also at the rear which will be available soon and has views over the house into the mountains.

  • Many thanks for letting us to stay at your place Andrew!!! Place was very lovely and cosy to relax after whole day spent in the mountains. Views you can see from the bedroom windows were just what we needed for our short city break. Stunning contemporary Beach house which sits just 2 seconds walk from the award winning blue flag beach of Dinas Dinlle with its Iron Age hill fort and views of the wildly beautiful Lynn Peninsular and Snowdonia mountain range. Our beach house is called Tanat and has been designed to enjoy both mountain and sea views. It has Bi-Fold doors on both floors which open up the back of the property to the garden and those amazing views.
Downstairs you will find the main open plan living area which opens onto the back garden via a single opening door within the bi folds or by opening the bi folds completely, weather and wind dependent. The open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area has underfloor heating, a contemporary built in electric fire and electric boiler servicing radiators throughout the house. The main bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink and there is an additional toilet located on this floor along with the master and 2nd bedroom. Upstairs we have created a superb dual purpose room with a viewing area to watch the world go by during the day and the sun dip into the ocean by night. There is also a L shaped sofa by a log burner with a smart tv and DVD player along with a retro games console. By night this room transforms into the 3rd bedroom with one simple lever mechanism the brand new luxury sofa pulls out into a bed and the side tables come in to create bedside tables. There is also a clever large driftwood cupboard which when opens is actually a full size wardrobe. Blinds pull down over all the glass windows to create a nightime sanctuary. When creating this room we wanted it to have the feel of a bright fresh lounge only by day and come bedtime transform quickly into a cosy bedroom to lie in bed and view the night sky by the burning embers of the log burner. Outside we have plenty of space to relax with built in seating by the fire pit and a picnic table. At the end of the garden you can sit and view the iron aged hill fort. There is also a grassed garden area, decking area and front enclosed patios.
In our quiet neighborhood we are lucky to have some really lovely local people running small local businesses mainly in season. This includes a cafe, beach shop, restaurant/bar, gift shop, fish and chip takeaway. The area is not built up at all and only offers limited seasonal amenities. In winter 2 cafes are open mainly weekends and some week days only. Just 1 mile away in the little hamlet of Llandwrog you will find a welcoming local pub which serves food 5 nights a week and is always open for a drink. Caernarfon is just a 7 mile drive away and has all conveniences you need.
  • I had a fantastic stay here. The house is immaculate, beautifully furnished and the view is stunning, even on a cloudy day. Internet connection is fast. Location on a popular but not over run beach. Deborah' s communication was faultless and very helpful. I'd be back in a heartbeat x

  • We had a wonderful stay in such a lovely house. The house itself is just fabulous: it has been lovingly built, decorated and furnished. Superb quality throughout and attention to detail is second to none. We've left the place feeling truly inspired. The contact with the owner was also superb. The location is perfect for exploring the many wonders of North Wales and Snowdonia and the immediate area is also very pleasant indeed: walks on the beach and along the coast, the view of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other, there are also a few local amenities including a local shop, a café, etc. We'd certainly go back again at any time of year.

The house is next to the beach and you can start directly from the house for a long stroll along the beach. We mostly enjoyed watching the sun set from the upstairs window. Recommended! And: Deborah even sent my bag to Manchester - I have forgotten that in the house. Thank you so much!

Well kitted out with lovely decor, and being able to fully open the doors was really nice on the sunny days! We enjoyed the beach opposite (we even saw dolphins one day!) with amazing sunsets. Our trip was based around the slate caverns bounce below and the zip wire Well worth a visit! Will be back with more family next year as we had so much fun building memories.

  • Perfect accommodation before hiking in Snowdonia. Florence is such a lovely little caravan! Everything is clean and tidy, the kitchen is small but functional and the bathroom and shower outside are clean and comfortable to use. Simon and Serena are also great hosts and are very quick to reply to emails and texts.

  • My friends and I had lovely time staying in the caravan. The location was great, and we were pleasantly surprised by the toilet and shower facilities. All in all very cute and worth a visit!

  • Flo was even more lovely then we expected, the layout and the colours were very vintagy and pretty and there was plenty of room. The caravan was very clean and had everything you’d need (little fridge, hob and cooking utensils). The site has a toilet and shower very close to Flo which were both very clean and the shower had hot water every time I used it, it was a good setup! We were there for a long weekend and the location is central to lots of interesting parts of North Wales, everywhere we went seemed to be 20-30 mins away - we visited Snowdonia, Portmeirion and Anglesey. The town of Caernarfon is a 15 minute drive away and that was very pretty with a big castle and lots of nice shops. Serena and her husband were very welcoming and recommended places for myself and my family to visit. I would definitely like to come stay again.

  • Nice place and awesome caravan. Perfect to stay a couple of days.

  • The caravan was perfect, very good location and everything in the caravan was tidy, clean and very welcoming.

    Karen2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Florence is a great little caravan - a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. We nicknamed it 'The Tardis'. Much more than I was expecting inside!

  • A lovely stay in a unique caravan. Very cosy and something a bit different. Would stay again

There are fantastic sea views and the sun setting off the coast of Anglesey is a sight to behold. The owner was very helpful and friendly at all stages of the booking and welcomed us to the property. We had a wonderful weekend.

  • Nice house. Well proportioned rooms. Large well fitted kitchen. However, only HAND towels provided, broken fittings in the bath/shower rooms, broken outside waste pipe that discharges onto the patio. Never saw the landlord once whilst we were there. Overall a feeling that the owner didn't really care about quality.

  • Lovely area, very secluded, and great for a family/large group of friends.

    Robert2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location with view of the fields and sea. A great sized and spacious property for a large family or group. Owner friendly and easy to contact. Listings not quite as stated as there was no drier which I think was essential due to Welsh weather! Other than this we would not hesitate to go again.

    Janet2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication from Ifor beforehand via email and phone. The house was exactly as described on the listing and was a reasonable location for getting into the hills.

Can Yr Aderyn is a beautiful long, quirky, Welsh cottage at the top of the Llyn peninsula, nestled in the hills between the coast and Snowdonia National Park. Halfway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog, it is ideally placed to visit the incredible number of beautiful spots in the great undiscovered jewel of Britain, north Wales. The beaches nearby are breathtaking, the scenery stunning and the hamlet of Tai'n Lon is a peaceful haven. Just across the road is a public footpath into the countryside.
Can Yr Aderyn is a single storey cottage. There is only one step inside, into the main bedroom, other than that the only steps are a few up to the garden and summerhouse so it is good for those with limited mobility. The house oozes character and charm with 2-foot thick rustic walls and quarry tiles throughout. It is centrally heated and has a log burner in the living room. We have 100% cotton bedding only.
Tai'n Lon is a beautiful quiet hamlet tucked away in a sheltered spot with very little traffic, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside.
  • It was a pleasure to stay with Max and Angie. They were very welcoming and the place is lovely. The cottage is located in a very quiet village close to the sea and the surrounding area is beautiful. The room is very comfortable and we both slept excellent. We traveled to Wales to go hiking in the Snowdonia National Park and climb up Snowdon. Angie prepared some homemade, delicious apple crumble for our hiking tour and Max served homemade bread for breakfast. They are both very nice, creative and inspiring people. I would love to stay there again, if I ever go back to Wales.

    Katharina2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely cottage full of character and charm, set in a quiet rural area. It is conveniently situated for visiting Portmerion and Anglesey. Max and Angie are lovely, friendly hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodated. Thanks for a great stay!

    Alix2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Angie and Max were wonderful and welcoming hosts! Our room was beautiful and clean with comfortable beds and soft, fuzzy blankets. They are located in Wales so do your research about property names since there are no street numbers. Their property is surrounded by a river and pastures with sheep and cattle. It's very charming and peaceful. I asked Angie if she would be willing to teach me her meditation technique so we started the day with a guided meditation and a lovely breakfast. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

A Beautiful, home made and cosy geo-dome. On our conservation farm, with woodlands, wildflower meadows, lakes and streams. The dome has a beautiful double bed, two single beds, a wood burning stove, and outdoor kitchen, picnic bench and fire pit... There are fresh eggs you can collect in the morning, hammocks in a fairy woodland glade. We want you feel like you are in a Swallows and Amazons adventure, a place where life is a little bit slower. The farm also has very friendly sheep and pigs
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping' We don't have a fancy toilet block, a new kitchen for you to use, nor even a toilet right by the tent... It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Dome is 150 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! The tent comes with bedding for the double bed and two single futon beds, as well as stove, pots and pans, cups etc.. We do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Woodland hammocks for you to swing in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Home produced Bacon, Sausages and lamb (when available) - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available, we had a baby in April so we are a bit behind on growing this year) - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A shower, flush toilet and washing machine in the farmyard (about 100m away) Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.

  • Fabulous location with sea views and privacy from other people staying on the property.

    Nigel2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely brilliant time. Matt was very welcoming and did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was exactly what we wanted; quiet, secluded and surrounded with beautiful scenery. The tent was equipped with everything we could need, and Matt kindly lent us some bits that we forgot to bring. We explored some of the land and bought fresh eggs from the shop to make breakfast. It's a lovely little farm and campsite, and I would highly recommend!

    Charlotte2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, peaceful, rustic place. Real Swallows and Amazons feel!

    John2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent!!! A massive thank you to Matt and his parents (who looked after us during our stay)... the communication during booking and before arrival was brilliant and quick. Matt's parents gave us a very comprehensive tour when we first arrived and were super friendly.. the geodome itself is AMAZING, beautiful remote location, with amazing views (esp the night sky!) very clean, warm and the log fire was a delight. The camper's log had everything you could want and although we didn't use the "kitchen" at the dome it was well equipped. will definitely be going again next year!

    Vicky2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended. Very welcoming host. Love the barn with the games, wood burner and tea pot(plus a place to plug in electrics). Dome was beautiful and had everything we needed. If felt like such a gift that the children(age 6 and 8) were able to explore and us parents could relax as our host made us feel so at home.

    Dimitri2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • We booked hoping for a bit of luxury in the wilderness, and that's exactly what we got! The geodome is spacious, lovely double bed and two generous single futons, with loads of other floor space and the wonderful log fire... spent a lovely, cosy raining night, gazing out over the fields to the sea in front of the log fire. There are a couple of Yurts (that don't have windows and look smaller) and some room for tents, but everyone is tucked away in their own little area - you just don't see other people. It's been really well designed to make you feel like you are in the wilderness, despite going over a bank holiday weekend. The kitchen area has everything you want (2 gas stoves, kettle, water), there's a picnic bench and firepit outside, there's loads of land to explore. Bring towels though! Bedding provided. It would be such a wonderful place to bring kids as well. Can't praise it enough. Go and have fun!!
