“Outdoor shopping and food. Lots of bars and restaurants. I do like PepperSmash. They have this cotton candy martini with actual cotton candy. So many good spots in here though. This area has a great night life. Dogs welcome on many laities and walk around leashes here.”

“This is about 15 minutes away, and there is a lot of restaurants and stores in this center. There are tons of things to do in and around this center. They are building a place call Kidzania, that looks amazing. It teaches kids how to have a trade or skill and they earn money throughout their time here, which they are able to learn to save and work for their money. It’s the first one that will be available in the United States. It will be fun for all kids. ”

“Pilgrimage to this iconic ranch located 25 miles north in the Dallas suburb of Parker. Sure, J.R. is gone and the series is no longer being filmed, but Southfork Ranch, home to Big D's fictional first family, the Ewings, is nonetheless still a major tourist attraction. Daily tours depart from a welcome center which also contains a museum filled with everything from the gun that shot J.R. to Lucy's wedding dress. From there, you can explore the interior of the Ewing home, grab a bite in Miss Ellie's deli, pick up souvenirs from the gift shop and walk around the grounds where horses and longhorns roam on the range.”

Pizza Place
“McKinney’s own and original brick-walled pub with a large wood fired pizza oven, with live music five nights a week. This is a great pizza restaurant but offers many other items to select from as well. For those that like salads, the Sedona salad is a local favorite. Great beer selection. Note of caution: The live music can get loud inside at times making it hard to converse with your party - but great music. ”

“Great burger selections, with some really good sweet potato fries. This is a little pricey for a burger, but it is a “gourmet burger place with a great draft beer selection (if that is your thing). Their meats include Genesis grass-fed beef (supplied by Local Yocal Farm to Market, also on the downtown square), lamb, salmon, turkey and tuna. Side items include onion rings, sweet potato fries (served with garlic aioli sauce), gourmet mac-and-cheese, a wide variety of salads, and all burgers are served with a tempura fried pickle spear.”
