“We LOVE our zoo! There are so many interactive exhibits and the zoo itself is situated on a beautiful mountainside that overlooks the city. Feeding the giraffes is always a highlight, and if you aren’t scared of heights, we highly recommend the sky ride (we like to bring a picnic lunch with us to the top). It can get very busy in the summer months, so going first thing or later in the day can be better to avoid crowds. Wear comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of uphill and downhill walking.”

With 11 marked trails in Red Rock Canyon Open Space ranging from 1.7 to 5.4 miles and from 6,141 to 6,866 feet above sea level. This is a easy hike but so very beautiful. “Located less than one mile from The Broadmoor, Seven Falls is one of Colorado’s most captivating natural wonders. This magnificent series of waterfalls is situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules. Take in stunning vistas of verdant valleys, striking rock formations and golden prairies as you climb the challenging 224 steps to the hiking trails and the banks of glistening streams that feed Seven Falls, and its 181-foot drop of falling water. If you’re looking for unforgettable sightseeing in Colorado Springs, this is it!”

“The tour consists of a group of around 15-20 people. Tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and answered any and all questions. During your tour you visit the gym where athletes work out and run. You visit the basketball court and get to possibly watch the paralympic athletes train. (AMAZING!!) You visit the gymnastics room, the shooting range room and look from the outside in as the swimmers train in the ginormous pool.”

“One of nature's wonders, it's a must see while in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend going by bike or vintage scooter as parking is a challenge during the Summer months. You can rent a low-power scooter from Vintage Scooter Adventures which is located at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs, CO. Fun times, great rates, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!”
