“Harbison Forest is our favorite place to hike. You can even hop off the "Spiderwoman" trail and get down to the river. Plenty of places to picnic or relax, or take a harder biking trail. Only $5 to park and spend the day. Highly recommended, a bit of a hidden gem.”

“Three great historic house museums that can be toured daily. Learn about Robert Mills the architect responsible for many great plantations in SC and best known for the Washington Monument. The Woodrow Wilson house is also part of this museum and located around the corner. Great for history buffs and those who love historic architecture.”

“A well-kept park boasting 20 acres of an oak-lined entrance, athletic fields, tennis courts and walking trails. Here you will find large covered picnic areas for family events and many playgrounds for children. Community events are regularly scheduled and held at this park, and its simplistic beauty offers a fresh getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. ”
