  • This was absolutely the BEST rental I have stayed in! Stylish, charming, warm, and comfortable. Sparkling clean too! April was always just a phone call or text away. The highlight was the cozy fireplace with a supply of firewood for the chilly nights. You will love 💕 this home!

  • This is a very cute and cozy house. We loved it!

    Mary2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • April’s home is as nice as the pictures appear. It’s got great character and I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. It’s close to town, but quiet and private. April knew I was coming from Seattle and graciously shared some restaurants and had the house all dialed in so I could chill after a long drive. Thanks April. I hope my next Airbnb can live up to yours!

    Jake2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • April was a kind and communicative host. Staying in her home felt as though we were staying with family in thier home. The energy cultivated by April in this home was perfect for our trip to visit my family. The fireplace was the perfect bonus. We will defintely stay again!

Our home sits on a 2.5 acre, slightly wooded, lot right on highway 20 approximately 20 minutes from Colville. The Little Pend Oreille River (pronounced pondere') runs along the back of our property and provides for beautiful walks and refreshing dips on hot summer days. The cabin is the last remaining of 8 originally built for hunters/fisherman. Since we purchased the property, we have fixed up the interior to be a bit more cozy and welcoming for a quiet weekend getaway.
The cabin is a studio style set up with a separate bathroom with shower. The beds are arranged to be used as couches during the day and beds at night. There is a mini fridge, ample cabinet space, and a single burner electric stove top to be used for cooking and a small fold away kitchen table. Dishes, cookware, coffee, and basic toiletries are among the items stocked in the cabin. There is a large driveway with your own parking and a picnic table in front of the cabin. It's the perfect place to unplug and unwind, as there is no cell service and no wifi.
Accessibility meets tranquility. We have the ease of access being right off the highway but enough wooded property and space to still feel tucked away. We are less than 5 minutes from Crystal Falls and less than 10 minutes from the Tacoma creek access to the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge, and Beaver Lodge.
  • Great get away from the city. Cute, small but functional log cabin with a lot of charm. We enjoyed using the hot tub as well

    Tina2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We were driving through on a long road trip and stayed at Tenton/Kristens. We were coming especially late and they were very accommodating. The place was clean and comfy!

  • Barbara and Tony were wonderful, genuine hosts. They treated us so well it felt like home. The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. We feel like we’ve made new friends. If you are in Colville this is the place to stay. Thank you both!

  • If you like feeling at home, this is the place to stay.

    Micheal2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect an exceptionally warm welcome. This is an amazing couple. Be sure to allow for some time to let them show you around their garden and workshops, and meet their hens and very friendly cat. The space is cozy, and everything you need is right there.

    Faye2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara's place is just lovely. It's on the west side of the valley so it's a bit cooler in the afternoon than places on the east side would be. Her husband, a contractor and carpenter for 41 years, has done a wonderful job remodeling the place and making it a welcome home for Airbnb guests. Clean, quiet and comfortable, not to mention very easy access to Colville and surroundings.

Beautiful, quiet two-story home with lots of windows on 21 natural landscaped acres at the base of Colville Mountain. This home is unique and charming with lots of room, a spacious deck, patio, BBQ, firepit, fireplaces, rec-room (with pool /ping pong table), games, and a three car garage. Nearby is the Colville National Forest, multi-use trails and several rivers and lakes – including Lake Roosevelt. Enjoy winter and summer activities. Canada only one hour drive; Idaho two hour drive.
There are three exits in the downstairs area and four exits upstairs. There is a piano in the living room and a patio door from the living room to the deck. There is a patio door in the master bedroom to the deck and a patio door to the patio from the kitchen nook area. There are cleaning supplies upstairs, as well as downstairs. There are enough supplies for a short term stay, but long term guests will have to replenish supplies, as needed.
There are homes on the west side of Madison Street and it comes to a dead end about 1 1/2 blocks north of our home. Our home is the only one on the east side of the street until you cross the road at the bottom of the street. The driveway is circular and there is plenty of parking. There are a lot of white tail deer, turkeys and quail throughout the neighborhood. The turkeys have a favorite dusting spot just east of the garage so don't be surprised by turkey feathers in that area. There is an elementary school about four blocks away and Safeway is about one mile away. The neighborhood is quiet and our home is peaceful as well as private.
  • Laurie made it very easy to book this stay for a third party. Communication was quick and thorough. The accommodations were exactly what we expected, very convenient and a great value. Thank you Laurie

    Meri2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie's home was a great place to stay. It is near many outdoor activities (nature watching, hiking, etc.). In fact, I saw four deer running around the place during my stay. Having a garage available to guest was a nice feature given that it was very cold and I would have had to scrape my car windows otherwise. Laurie was a great host and responded to messages in a timely manner. I would love to stay again.

    Nicole2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house is amazing!!!! From the views and the privacy of the home, to the pool table and ping PONG, this house is so relaxing!!! Highly recommend it.

  • This home is great. I really loved the home and the location. The Hosts are amazing people as well. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this home.

    Michael2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the best places I’ve stayed with AirBnB — and I’ve stayed in a lot of them. Laurie was super-responsive and her house had everything we needed. The morning parade of turkeys, quail and deer was pretty cool too.

Welcome to our A-frame guest cabin! The cabin is on 20 acres of private land conveniently located between Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and Colville National Forest. Our guests come to enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and hunting, or they simply enjoy the view of Lake Roosevelt and the peace and quiet of our mountain top home.
The cabin has a loft with two bedrooms (two built-in single beds per room). The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchenette, bathroom, and sleeper sofa. It is heated by a wood stove. The guest cabin is located completely separate from but near the main house. A 2-3 person hot tub is located on the lower deck of the main house that guests are welcome to use.
Our 'neighborhood' is Bear Mountain and most residents have 20 acres. Sit on the cabin deck and watch the boats go by on Lake Roosevelt. Take a short hike from the cabin to a ridge-top to see how vast Lake Roosevelt really is. Take a short drive to a secluded beach where you can launch your kayak, take a dip in the water, or throw your line in the water and catch some walleye.
  • The place was so nice! Beautiful view. Edward and his wife were so nice and quick with response. Would love to stay there again. A++

    Sylvia2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Came to go fishing but I never left the property because it was so beautiful and the cabin felt so comfy! The most beautiful view from the front deck! Plenty to explore and see. They also had everything you needed to cook with!

    Zachary2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Edward and Doris place is amazing, make sure to grab a bottle of wine and catch the sunset off the porch.

  • Very cozy place. Your cabin has everything for a great stay.

    Alex2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great 2 night stay in Ed and Dori’s cabin! It is a very cozy space with everything you need, plus a wood stove which we loved! There’s no TV or wifi in the cabin which is a great way to relax and unwind from the everyday go go go. The outside hot tub was a perk we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as hiking around their scenic property. We brought our dog along and he really enjoyed playing with their dog and befriending the kittens. Ed and Dori were great hosts, friendly and informative. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys nature and the simpler things in life.

  • Wonderful private space! We needed something simple and got SO MUCH MORE than that! Ron and Toni were great hosts and very accommodating. This was my first air bnb and it blew me away! Make sure you check out the little reading room by the river which was so peaceful.

    Tracy2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and Toni go to great efforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We weren’t able to stay very long, but it was a great experience just the same! They are great people.

    Rachel2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and Toni are superhosts in my book. They are so easy to talk to and had great personalities as well. Their place is better then described in the listing. Our boys loved being able to play on the property and with the goats. We will absolutely be staying here in the future anytime we are in the area.

This quiet cabin is nestled away on the southwestern slope of Dunn mountain, in northeastern Washington. It is situated on 35 acres, with a "million dollar" view of Summit Valley and the Huckleberry mountain range. It has a private, gated driveway, with easy access and plenty of parking.
  • If you like quiet and cozy this is your place. Everything you need and many more amenities then staying out at many cabins. Super nice host who is quick to respond. Place is easy to find and really provides great privacy. Already missing the quiet and the incredible views.

  • Quiet , clean and warm. Amazing wood stove kept the place cozy on cold fall nights . Beautiful property with no distractions .

  • Perfect hunters cabin! Only minutes to good hunting land, and close to lake Roosevelt’s

    Michael2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • So relaxing and cozy and a perfect place to get away from the city for a few days! Our dog had more than enough space to run and play outside. My boyfriend and I didn’t want to leave! There’s a ton of kitchen amenities and we were able to cook meals without having to bring a lot of our own supplies (salt & pepper, condiments, cooking oil, plenty of pots and pans and dishes). There is a washing machine and you can hang dry your clothes by the wood stove so they dry very quickly. There is plenty of firewood for the fire pit outside as well. Tracey was very fast as responding and a great host. We wanted our privacy and that’s exactly what we got, but he messaged us making sure we were doing good and asked if we needed anything. We have AT&T and lost service about 20 minutes down the road before getting to the house and we were pretty happy about that. Our trip was worth the money and ended way too soon. I would gladly pay to spend a full week here. We will be back for sure!

  • Stay at Carolyn's farm is a must for anyone visiting Northeast Washington . The hospitality, abundantly stocked fridge and shelves, adorable farmhouse decor, comfy beds, and sparkly clean rooms are the perfect compliment to the beautiful sheep farm in gorgeous wooded country. Carolyn, her husband, and 2 precious dogs made us feel right at home with their kindness and attentiveness. We were encouraged to enjoy walking all around the property. One of the best Airbnb experiences we have had!!!

    John2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Carolyn and Bob have thought of everything. The extra little touches - fresh eggs - fresh cookies, fruit, snacks and amenities make all the difference. We went for a walk out to the barn to visit the kitty- hens- sheep and alpacas. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Looking forward to our next visit.

  • Bob and Carolyn were great hosts. The home is well furnished and has the niceties of home. The small touches like farm fresh eggs and homemade chocolate chip cookies made the stay delightful and relaxing. There are great views from the home. Location between Colville and Little Pend Oreille Lakes is great.

  • This was a amazing stay at a amazing location. A absolutelybeautiful farm. Where they have everything you may need. It was amazing seeing the length they go to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is so special that they share such a beautiful ranch with others. We cannot wait to go back. And if you plan on staying here. Book early. It will be a extremely hard place to book soon. They provided local information of the area that made our trip successful and enjoyable.. We cannot wait to return! A stay you will not regret. Cute and comfortable.

  • This was the perfect spot for us for the holiday weekend! After another airbnb fell through, I was so fortunate to stumble upon Tanya's place! It was nestled up on a hill and her directions made it so easy to find even at 9pm in the dark! She was quick to respond on a holiday weekend and even gave us fresh chicken eggs which were amazing! If you are looking for a place to hunt, this is great because public land is within walking distance of the cabin and we saw so many deer and turkeys over the course of the weekend! • I’m not the auto review/auto 5 star kind of guy. This is a lovely little cabin. Very accurately described and so much fun. Tanya and Tony were great hosts, great people. I spent 4 nights while the temperate dropped to around 22F. The cabin is very warm. You don’t need to put the heater on for long to get the place toasty.

  • Lovely little cabin in the woods! Host was extremely helpful and great with communication. The cabin was spotless and still cute and comfy with incredible views. The space has everything you might need and more.

  • Katharines place was just what we needed. It was secluded and peaceful. The house was incredibly well stocked with everything we could imagine. The little touches like the welcome note and Alexa loaded with information were warm and pleasant. It was clean and well decorated, oh and that soaker tub!!!! Wow! It was a fabulous weekend, we feel well taken care of. You will love your stay here!

    Jason2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Katharine’s home was exactly what we needed for a get away work week. Her home was clean, well appointed, comfortable and ready for us!! We felt welcomed and were able to relax and work or play as we needed!! The soaking tub, comfortable bed, stocked kitchen and beautiful views were all perfection!!!

  • This is such a nice place to call home for a few days. Out in the woods by itself. A perfect getaway. The house is charming and allows for home cooking. Wonderful attention to details, great selection of books, movies and access to cable TV. We appreciated the use of washer/dryer in house. When we arrived we found a fire warming the house, warm home made bread and a bottle of wine! The views from all the many windows are of a woodland dream. Kathy has created her own version of heaven in the woods. We went back-country skiing up at nearby Sherman Pass for a great day out in the snow. All in all a wonderful stay and would consider return one day.

    Jonah2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Kathy's place was amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. She had everything from reading material to chargers in case you forgot one for your phone. The internet was blazing fast and the s'mores, eggs and orange juice were a classic touch. The fire was warm when we got there and there was even baby soap for our toddler. I was so impressed with everything Kathy offered. She was spectacular!

    Cassandra2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful and spacious with many very thoughtful details, including a bottle of wine on arrival, some breakfast groceries and even a bone for our dog. The location is great and the cabin is surrounded by private, peaceful woods. Highly recommend staying here.

  • This was the best experience I’ve ever had an an Airbnb. Kathy was the most hospitable host from all the little touches, treats, homemade bread and welcoming gestures to the comfortable beds, all the supplies needed and more! Kathy responded within seconds with each conversation we had. The home was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with everything and even more than what was needed to enjoy. The privacy is more than I imagined, with only trees and wildlife around the home. The trails behind the home were a plus too! I can’t say enough about this home and Kathy. She is a superb super host! I’m in love with this place and would recommend and come back any chance I get! Thanks so much, Kathy

Enjoy the full mountain experience in our cabin by the edge of our private pond. Who needs electricity when you're becoming one with nature... ha ha. You can also experience breathtaking views of the valley below and see the animals on the farm. Even though this is more of the roughin' it cabin with no water, heat, or electricity, there's still access to indoor flushing toilet, sink and hot water shower in the basement of the Curly Horse Campground Camp Center. Bring your own bedding and towels.
Quiet retreat with ample opportunities to see wildlife. There are 3 indoor four season showers plus four outdoor showers with privacy partition and curtain for the ultimate outdoor bathing experience.
There are tons of place to go hiking, quad riding, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. For an extra fee, your horse can also stay in one of our pens/stalls.
  • Great place to stay for a few nights.

Also known as Dominion Mountain Retreat, this 565 sq. foot bungalow can sleep up to 5, but is spacious and lovely for a couple. Very comfortable queen bed upstairs, with spiral stairs leading to a rooftop deck. Full kitchen, tiled bath with shower, hot tub and fire pit available for comfort outside. Hummingbird paradise in summer, especially June and July! Please note: Winter Access requires 4WD or AWD vehicle!
The bungalow is separate from the main house, and has a rustic feel, but is very comfortable. The queen bed upstairs and both twins downstairs have wonderful memory-foam mattresses. The 6' curtained window seat is a favorite of the under 18 set. There is a full kitchen with an under counter fridge, gas range, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and all the dishes and pots and pans you need. New geothermal system provides heat and air conditioning, and solar panels on the roof of the main home help make this a green property. We recycle everything as well. Guests have full access to 20 acres, including an enclosed garden with lots of sitting areas, a great fire pit for campfires, a hot tub on the main house deck, a weber gas grill on the main house deck, and pasture leading up to the neighbor's horses.
Colville is a town of 5000 in a beautiful mountainous and forested area of Northeast Washington. There are some good restaurants, an excellent library, several good grocery stores and one store featuring organic and local food (in Kettle Falls - 8 miles from Colville.) In late summer the county fair is held in Colville, and there is another festival at the beginning of August. Farmer's markets are held twice a week from Spring through Fall. There is a community theater group that puts on plays from time to time. One of the best things about Colville is the abundant outdoor recreation that is available here. There are two downhill ski areas within 45 minutes' drive, plenty of cross country skiing and hiking, mountain biking, boating on the Columbia River and several lakes, fishing, hunting and camping all around.
  • Beautiful sunsets, close to town, amazing hospitality! Highly recommend!

    Keith2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie's cabin is a convenient base for wonderful hiking and snowshoeing options off Sherman Pass on the Kettle Crest and elsewhere on the Colville National Forest. We enjoyed watching it snow, watching movies, reading in the peaceful surroundings and waking up to our lovely, sparkling Christmas tree that she generously let us put up inside to make it even more cozy. Extra amusement was provided by her two friendly, fluffy kitties patrolling the grounds.

  • A beautiful, quiet, private location to take in everything the Colville area has to offer. The bungalow is gorgeous and was everything we expected.

    Melissa2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't have asked for anything more. Every need we might have had, Leslie had already thought of!! What a delightful little cottage, beautiful view and weather for every season...rain, snow, falling leaves and sunshine...like I said, she thought of everything, lol!!

    Joan2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • We were so very impressed with your mindfulness of the environment. We arrived at night and in the morning we saw solar panels!! The hot tub was AMAZING and the view SPECTACULAR. The bungalow was beautifully decorated and clean. The selection of book and music were refreshing and quite delightful. We look forward to a future visit. :-)

    Amanda2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie's place is so tastefully designed that when you open the door, your first reaction is: I'm glad I'm here! In addition, wildlife can be seen often on her property: fat quails marching across her lawn, or a flock of wild turkeys with a couple of cats running in the field.

Experience life on a sustainable homestead! Your home away from home is a spacious yurt that comfortably fits a family or group of 3 (up to 6 if you bring sleeping bags). It has a full kitchen, half bathroom, dining area, queen size bed, sofa, desk, and wood burning stove. Right outside your doorstep is a private sauna and shower where you can relax after enjoying the great outdoors! WiFi is spotty. The yurt can get quite warm during the day in July and August but cools to 50s/low 60s at night
Our 40-acre property is located on a hillside with picturesque scenes of pastures, valleys, forests and mountains. You can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the sunset from the property. We raise sheep, chickens, and geese on our farm, all of which are free-range, so you might find them roaming outside your front door. Sustainability is important to us. The farm, including the yurt, is completely solar powered. Water comes from our well and heating is from wood sourced locally.
This is an ideal area for outdoor enthusiasts and skiers/snowboarders. We are right by Flowery Trail Road, where 49 Degrees North Mountain Ski Resort is located just 30 minutes drive. There is also good skiing in Rossland, Canada which is about 2 hours drive away (don't forget your passport!) Our backyard is the Colville National Forest, where you can enjoy great fishing, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, climbing, off road vehicles, and winter activities such as cross-country and downhill skiing and snowmobiling. We are nearby several lakes (Waitts Lake is well known), the Columbia River, Kettle Falls, and Sandpoint and Lake Pend O'Reille in Idaho. The town of Chewelah is just 10 minutes away, where you can find the ChewVino Wine Bar, a nice local hangout with a good selection of wines and the quaint Flowery Trail Cafe for healthy breakfast options and organic coffee. If you need recommendations, just let us know!
  • We would certainly come back. The sauna makes this an exceptional value! Clean, personal touches, beautiful farm, genuine hosts, Comfy bed, quiet, out of town but a quick drive to shops, close to 49, everything for a much needed getaway. We spent much of our time playing Card games in front of the fire while listening to music. Thanks for a great stay.

  • Wonderful getaway! Gorgeous yurt that pictures don't do justice! Ann and Kevin have a delightful experience to offer for those who need a getaway from the city and busy life. Spectacular views, friendly creatures, and a warming home to slow down and enjoy close company.

    Kerstin2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • With farm fresh eggs and a sauna ten steps from the yurt's front door, what else could you ask for?

    Sherry2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • My son and I booked the yurt on short notice and I’m so glad we did! This place is so special. The yurt itself is comfortable and beautiful. The farm is a great place to wander and decompress from noisy city life. Ann and Kevin are friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. Our whole experience, although short, was exactly what we needed.

Our place is a beautiful and comfy home away from home. We provide a full delicious breakfast in our dining room and a refrigerator stocked with water, yogurt, and juice in your own kitchen. Try our suite with big screen tv featuring Netflix and a comfy sofa to relax or the smaller bedroom with DVD player. The bathroom is private unless both rooms are rented. There is a full upstairs kitchen for guests. We invite you to enjoy our beautiful home and would like to show you true hospitality.
Our place is nestled in the forest just a few miles from Chewelah, Washington a place for all seasons. Hiking and snowshoeing trails on the property. Relax with a good book by the fireplace or enjoy the sauna.
  • Expect very friendly hosts. They are a bit further away from the road than I thought but it wasn’t a problem, their mile long driveway was well maintained. Kitchen supplies were all there, in interesting places but everything we needed was available. Our space was private and quiet.

  • Gail went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! Each day she prepared a delicious hot breakfast which we enjoyed with wonderful conversations. She truly made us feel at home and helped us find alternative activities when the ski hill was unexpectedly closed. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

  • The Forrest AirBnB brought true relaxation to our journey. The amenities provided were far beyond our expectations. The BnB is located in a secluded mountain setting and run by a couple committed to making a person's stay relaxing and hospitable. A wonderful place to stay. We will be back.

Welcome! We hope you love/enjoy the peaceful beauty in N.E. Wash. that attracted my grandparents to homestead here in 1905. The property has been in the family since then. Jim and I built our home here in 1984 and raised our girls here, where I grew up. Our Guest House is newly made to look old, and is 750 sq.ft. in size, overlooking a large meadow with several ponds. It has brand new modern amenities. The quiet setting and mountain views will bring you relaxation. Jim and Alice.
The rural location allows you to enjoy all that the country has to offer-- hooting owls, gobbling turkeys, and a clear view of the starry night. Often there are deer, elk, the occasional moose, mountain quail, ducks, geese and coyotes that can be seen and heard *Access to guesthouse is with a keypad on exterior doors to unlock.
This property is on the doorstep of thousands of acres of available State and Federal land. The Pend Oreille Lakes and the Little Pend Oreille Wildlife Refuge are just minutes away. You will find all of the outdoor activities you wish-- fishing, hunting, hiking, snowshoeing, biking (road/mountain), etc. within minutes of your doorstep.
  • You can't go wrong with this place and Jim & Alice go above & beyond to make your stay comfortable.

    Darren2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was amazing here. Very clean, cozy, and close enough to town to not be inconvenient. Also, the hosts are very gracious. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

    Jay2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Honestly, this place far exceeded any expectations I may have had. Jim and Alice have created something special. The place was immaculate; everything was in pristine condition. The guesthouse is it's own separate structure connected by a garage. The place was warm and cozy, with plenty of hot water and a powerful gas stove. Everything was done right in this guesthouse, and everything was clean, fresh and new. My favorite part of the trip was meeting Jim and Alice. These are amazing people with guests best interest in mind... they were exceptional hosts. Finding huge pots of gold in the forest may have been the only thing that could have made the trip better, but for the experience I had and knowing I'll be back, I sure couldn't ask for anything else. Thanks!

  • I would highly recommend booking with Jim & Alice. I am a housing coordinator for a traveling physicians. We had a bad experience with our original accommodation Jim and Alice were wonderful and accepted us last minute, allowed my traveler to bring her tomatoe plants early, and they went above and beyond to get in WiFi for our guest. Their home is clean and well taken care of. 5 stars!

  • We could not of been more pleased with our stay in this lovely home! Prior to our evening arrival, the hosts had turned on the lights and warmed up the home for us. This cozy spot, nestled in a snow covered meadow just outside of town, had all the comforts of home. The basket of snacks and sweets was a nice surprise upon our arrival as well. The home is located very close to an amazing hidden jewel of a ski resort called 49° North. We found the folks in Chewelah to be very friendly and we relished the small town appeal! I highly recommend this location and the gracious hosts!!

This beautiful house sits on the shore of Deep Lake, 15 miles from Northport and just across the border from Rossland and Trail BC. This is a very lovely, fully equipped, lakefront home. There is a deck off the dining area, a side deck and a large dock. The kitchen is fully appointed. There are several small appliances including a blender, crockpot, electric skillet, and a Keurig pot (bring the pods you like). There is a cupboard full of spices.
Three story lake house with a southern exposure.
There are homes around the lake with only an occasional motorized water craft on the lake. It is mostly quiet and pleasant. Most homes are weekend or summer retreats. The water is nice for swimming, kayaking, floating, etc.
  • We love this place. It is so peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely come back.

    Nancy2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time at Rose's lakehouse!! It was so comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun and restful stay! The views of the lake were gorgeous, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with some staples such as spices, cooking oil and sugar. We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill and playing board games, swimming from the private dock, and even using the kayak! The cassette tape selection was a trip down memory lane and we had a blast looking through them and listening to some awesome classics! We highly recommend this place and definitely plan to be back!! Thank you Rose!!

  • Scenic views for days. Peace and quiet. Right on the lake. We stayed for 5 days and did not want to leave! Rose has made sure you have all the comforts of home available and was even kind enough to call and check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. Great service, great place--we'll be back!

    Krysta2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our little family enjoyed everything that Rose's home had to offer! The lake location is perfect to hit the rest button on life and slow down. The views are serene and beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside every night to watch the fish jump. Rose is an amazing host and is so accommodating to make sure all guests needs are met! Her home is cozy and well stocked. We will definitely be back!

    Kim2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rose is an incredibly thoughtful host and the house is lovely. This is possibly the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. Deep Lake is pretty, swimmable and easy to reach.

    Jennifer2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • The lake is a great location for swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. We enjoyed hikes into the Colville National Forest, especially the walking trail around Meadow Lake. Good memories. Thank you Rose. Allen

  • What a fantastic home! Smack dab on Deep Lake, with a great dock. There are tons of rainbow trout in the lake. I loved that we didn’t have cell phone reception, or internet access at the house. It’s exactly what we needed. It sounds cheesy, but my favorite part was showing my kids how the cassette tape player and VCR work. we listened to the provided tapes, which brought us right back to our childhood. Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers, Mariah Carey, The Beach Boys, and so much more. The kids lived playing hide and seek throughout the house. It was quiet, and secluded. There are neighboring houses and a trailer, but I never saw or heard anything from either. The beds were comfortable, and my wife loved the heated mattress. I would absolutely stay here again. The kitchen was well stocked, and fun to cook in. We made great memories here with my girls catching their first fish, and seeing tons of deer and eagles. A true mountain lake getaway!

    Tim2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first ever experience using air bnb and it was amazing. This lake house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The house sits right on a beautiful lake and there is a dock for fishing, boating or swimming. The inside of the house had a big loft and multiple rooms for our six member party. The host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Everything about our stay far exceeded our expectations. The area was fairly sucluded and private which we liked. Also I felt like we got an amazing deal on the place. Everything was amazing and we plan on coming back next summer.

Hike or snowshoe into the woods from our back door or drive several minutes to the ski lodge/nordic area. Lots of trails near the Chewelah Peak Learning center just a 1/2 mile away! • We had such a fun time skiing and staying at Bethany's place. The accommodations were perfect for our family of six with a little snuggling. Beth is so kind and even threw an extra mattress down for the kids to sleep on. This place is so close to the ski resort and it was so great to go from jumping in the car to hitting the slopes at 49° Ski Resort in 5 minutes!! We are a very social family and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Bethany and her family. She was very respectful of our space but when we initiated connection she was very open to visiting, answering any questions and giving great recommendations!! We loved this family and their space and we will definitely be back!!!

This 725 Sq. ft. cabin is perfect for a quiet get-away. It sits at the end of a long driveway nestled in the trees...out front is a wonderful pond with seasonal birds. Large upstairs bedroom w/ king bed & sitting area. Full kitchen. Full bath. Washer/dryer. Nicely furnished. 32" TV, Blu-ray player w/ movies. Wi-Fi is very unreliable, no cable or cell service... so, come relax, unwind & recharge. Our hobby farm has goats & chickens & 2 large people friendly dogs, no pets allowed.
Driving distance: Spokane 1 hour, Chewlah 15 minutes, Colville 25 minutes , 49° North Resort or Lake Roosevelt are 30 minutes close.
Our rural setting changes drastically with the seasons. It's wooded and secluded and our own little hobby farm helps set the mood. Even with the animals, it's generally quiet and relaxing and on a clear night the stars should be enjoyed.
  • Would highly recommend, we love this place.

  • What a place! We were looking for something last minute in an area off the beaten path for a hunting trip and Elaine's cabin was a perfect fit. I will definitely return next year and maybe bring the family in the spring to feed the baby goats. Thanks again!

    Jeff2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic cabin and a great place to relax. Delicious cookies on the counter and nicely furnished! Wish I could have spend a few more days to enjoy the peace and quiet.

    James2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was bigger than expected and very comfortably accommodated my family of four plus my sister-in-law. Elaine had set up a high chair and a pack n play for our 8-month-old so we had everything we needed. She gave immediate replies to questions and even brought over warm cookies. Very pleased with our stay.

Studio with queen bed, futon and floor matresses available. Located near 49 North, Chewelah Peak, Chewelah Golf Course, Chataqua Festival, Quartzite Mountain and numerous lakes, you can enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, water sports, huckleberries, or just relaxing and breathing fresh mountain air!
  • Returned to Margene's place again for a couple of ski days at 49 Degrees North. Conveniently located 8.6 miles (easy 14-20 minute drive depending on traffic and road conditions) from the house to the ski area parking lot and less than 2 miles to downtown Chewelah. 49 Degrees North is a great little ski hill with lots to offer for Beginner to Advanced skiers; no "extreme" terrain, but great glades and tree skiing. We were finding powder pockets 3 days after a storm. In response to my comments in February 2019, Margene added wine glasses (Thanks! Too bad that we were too tired to drink wine.) As noted before, the space lives bigger than it appears in the photos. With the microwave, crockpot, fridge, and utensils, were able to eat in for breakfast and pack lunches. Nice touch to have chocolates and microwave popcorn. Again, the double shower head and jacuzzi tub were appreciated after days of skiing. Hope others are able to enjoy as much as we have!

    Charles2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

  • Better than any Airbnb ive stayed!

    Eddie2019-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Margene is a wonderful host and the place is great! Very clean and cozy. There is a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, water cooler, plates, bowls, cups, and silverware. Access to WiFi and smart TV with Netflix and Hulu included. The bathroom is huge! I also loved all the natural light in the room. I had a short stay and wish I could have stayed longer! I will be back!

    Alexandra2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place. Quite, great view. Saw deer and turkeys in abundance. Flannel sheets were cozy!

    Dave2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • As others have noted, the space really does live bigger than what the photos might lead you to believe. The Bedroom/Living space is bigger than most master bedrooms, and includes a dining table/4 chairs, larger than typical hotel mini-fridge, microwave, crock pot, place settings, glasses, plenty of storage space (we had ski bags as well as regular clothes), … No actual wine glasses, so if you're picky about that, you may want to bring your own. The bathroom is also huge. The bathroom includes double sinks, a separate toilet room, a jacuzzi-tub and double shower heads that my wife especially appreciated after skiing all day. The only heads-up that I might give to other travelers is that the toilet room might be a little tight for a larger individual. There's also a separate storage area beyond the bathroom in case you need even more space. For us, the amenities and proximity to both 49 Degrees North and town were perfect and we would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat. Much nicer for us than the "traditional" motel we stayed at in Chewelah last year.

  • The place and hosts were very nice. They got us into the place on super short notice, and made accommodations for our extra requests. They prefer not to have pets, and I wish that was more explicit upfront. I'd give five stars but my pet is my family and I choose places based upon that.

  • Great place to stay! They have spared no expense for the comfort and amenities available. everything was top notch quality! • Gail's place is such a gem! It is comfortable, beautifully appointed and really lovely. There is a private kitchen area, which Gail had stocked with a selection of teas , coffee and juices as well as homemade zucchini bread, bagels, cheeses etc. She made a full hot breakfast, which I didn't expect...cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon and avocado...delish. I could come and go as I pleased with a private entrance and great hiking right outside the door. She was so flexible and communicative with checking in and out. I would be happy to stay there again!

  • Gail is a great host and has a lovely home that she shares. You get so much space and she will help you in any way she can. She makes sure you have a comfortable place to stay and everything you might need. We would not hesitate to stay with her again if we found ourselves back in that area. It could be a little tricky getting to her place except she takes the time to meet you at the driveway to make sure you have no problem finding her home. It was very quiet and peaceful. You have not only your own kitchen and bath, but a private deck where you can enjoy that peaceful place.

My husband, our two year old son, and I slept great! It was also nice to sit outside enjoying tea and coffee while watching the sunset. We'll likely be back since we have family in the area.

It seems like everyone loves Black Lake and hates to leave it! This quiet lake is on a small mountain 2 miles off the highway. It is a no-wake lake so there are no noisy boats or jet skis. Black Lake people enjoy serenity. The home formerly housed the campground store which was converted to a fourth guest room.
The lake is stocked with Tiger and Rainbow Trout. There is a large fishing dock and a small beach which is shared with campers.
It is 20 miles to Colville but there is a small store, gas and a small restaurant 7 miles in the other direction on Hwy 20.
  • Lovely place to get away from it all! We spent lots of time doing puzzles in front of the fire.

  • What an amazing place to stay! It was quiet, beautiful, and just what we needed. We loved the house and the wonderful lake! Our kids had a blast, too. Pricilla was a fantastic host and even had some toys for the kids. Our dogs were welcomed with open arms. We want to go back!

  • Fabulous historic cabin with wonderful updated kitchen, bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Priscilla made us feel extremely welcome. Wish we'd had time to enjoy the canoes or kayaks. Black Lake is very quiet, without water skiers or jet skis. Would definitely consider coming back again in the future.

    Barbara2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Priscilla’s house is beautiful, tucked away in the woods by the lake with gorgeous scenery. Priscilla was the best host I’ve ever had through AirBnB, she was concerned with all our needs and even built a fire ready to start in the fireplace! There are plenty of towels, extra blankets, and more than comfortably housed 8 guests. Can’t recommend enough!

    Jeremy2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Priscillas place was just what i was looking for. A quiet cabin in the woods with a fireplace. It was also so much more. It has a beautiful kitchen that I would have loved to cook in if I wasn’t on holiday from cooking. There was plenty of space to wander and snowshoe. It was a cabin in the true sense, not a big fancy house in the woods. There were plenty of nicely appointed bedrooms for our party of 4 as well as plenty of bathrooms. Lastly, i need to mention the view. It overlooks the lake which was frozen and covered with snow. Watching the shadows move across the lake and through the trees was our main pass time. There was about 2 feet of fresh snow when we arrived. All driveway and paths were nicely taken care of. I know this is a place i will visit again.

Enjoy a private and fully furnished guest quarters on a 305 acre working ranch, 5 miles from Lake Roosevelt. Walk/hike, read, cook (private kitchen), help with the our animals , tour our orchards/gardens, watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Some of our guests enjoy romping through the entire outdoor areas while others just like to curl up with a book in front of the crackling wood stove.
Private ranch (goats, sheep and cows) invites you to enjoy their private guest quarters. Nearby to Washington's largest Lake (Roosevelt), a public boat launch is just 8 miles down the road. We have a mix of forests, fields, and orchards/gardens all tied together with readily accessible trails. The guesthouse is very comfortably appointed with separate kitchen and bathroom, bedroom, sitting areas, and private covered patios.
This is a very private setting with the nearest neighbor being over a mile away. Our place is a combination of fields and forest, some fenced, some not. We run cows on some of the fenced areas during the summer months and goats year-round near our barn.
  • Fantastic place to stay! Very peaceful and relaxing. I wish I had more time to enjoy the property. Very clean and well stocked. There was a nice selection of DVD's and the Wifi was good. I hope to return!

  • Jim and Rory's place is very beautiful and cozy. The welcome committee, too cute. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful hand crafted furnishings, comfy bed and the best stocked kitchen we've seen at an Airbnb. Definitely top notch. The area is very rural and quiet.

  • Super nice place in an absolutely beautiful spot. Awesome amenities and great hosts. Can’t recommend it enough... we will be back for sure.

  • This space is truly a gem. The home itself is very well appointed and beautifully decorated with many of the first-class furnishings built by the homeowner! Then you have the magical ranch, valley and forest surrounding. My husband and I spent much of our time soaking up the view and quiet as a perfect escape from busy city life. We were even invited by Rori and Jim to meet the goats and cows and I had my first introduction to milking a goat! We would come back here in a heartbeat. It sets the gold star standard of Airbnb experience.

  • I can only echo the other reviews and share that the beauty of this place, the remoteness, and the unique farm setting made for such a special stay. This was the perfect beginning for a 2-week road trip for our Seattle family of 4. The property was so lovely, we did not leave during our 2-night stay.

    Kerry2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place. Great hosts.

    Helen2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect, amazing, magical, peaceful, beautiful - other guest have left us no words! Jim and Rori anticipated everything, even our needs for treats (best ever!). Grahm anticipated our need for walks and Spencer supplied cute. We hated to leave and loved the week we spent there The housing is wonderful - filled with beautifully handcrafted furniture (Jim's expert work). Hasta la proxima!

We are 15 minutes from Chewelah and 30 minutes from Colville. Owners have 2 large people friendly dogs to watch over things... therefore:Absolutely no pets!
Our rural setting changes drastically with the seasons. It's wooded and secluded and our own little hobby farm helps set the mood. Even with the animals, it's generally quiet and relaxing and on a clear night the stars should be enjoyed.
  • Great little cabin in the woods! Elaine gives great directions, everything is always neat and clean and stocked well if you want to cook your own meals.

    Kristine2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy cabin in the woods with privacy, highly recommended. There are two dogs out if you arrive at night that are friendly but looks a bit scary (especially when they have their teeth out).

  • I was ecstatic when I walked into Elaine's cabin. The photos don't do it justice! It's so adorable and cozy. The whole cabin was immaculately clean and had everything we could need. The temperature was warm and the beds were all comfortable. Elaine made it extra special by having an adorable little Christmas tree set up for us and putting out some toys for the kids. This location is perfect for peace and quiet. We loved seeing deer out the windows and visiting the goats! Perfect cabin experience.

    Hope2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very well set up! Beautiful little cabin with all the right amenities! There were even five white tail deer hanging around during our stay.

    Jason2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was cozy, warm and with thoughtful touches. Bed was comfy. Great hospitality.

    Cherilyn2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in the trees!

    Matt2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great location if you are looking for relaxation! Elaine was an amazing host and even went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. You are greeted by a couple very friendly pups.. and may even see some wildlife like we did. One of my favourite Airbnb places to date.

    Ct2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine’s Carpenter Cabin was lovely: we loved watching the sun rise over the hills and illuminate the forest, seeing the deer and turkeys wander down through the trees, and visiting the baby goats. The cabin was well-equipped with plenty of pots and pans, a wonderfully efficient electric grill, and good bed linens on all the beds. Everything was clean and fresh inside, and the setting was beautiful outside. Elaine and her husband were consummate hosts, always happy to chat about the location and their family history there. The kids loved visiting the friendly goats, especially the adorable baby goats! Thanks, Elaine, we had a marvelous time!

  • Amazing!!!! I sent and inquiry message at 8 am and they had us booked and checked in by 10. The bunkhouse was amazing. The staff allowed our kids to help feed the horses everyday. My kids set alarms just to do it. Everything was beautiful and well equipped. We will most definitely stay here again.

The bunkhouse was exactly what we needed and we were greeted by a very sweet gal working on the property. Hot shower, clean linens and room for all of us to stay. We will definitely stay again when we come to town.
