Parks & nature in Comal County

“Beautiful place to swim! Requires a reservation though, which you can get online. There are spots from 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm. The reservations keep the park from getting over-crowded which you will appreciate once you are there. There are tree ropes for swinging in to the cool and lazy river and lots of shade if you want to fall asleep with a book under the Cypress canopy!”

“One of our family favs a short drive from the property. Make a day out of it and tour the small town of Wimberly. You will need to book online as there is a fee. In the fall winter just double check as things change in slower season. Just wear your swimming suit and some comfortable clothes over top and bring a towel and get ready for some beautiful time in nature and a BIG SPLASH.”
