“ This garden is a hidden treasure that houses some of the most important bonsai in the United States. The collection of bonsai on display changes regularly and around 100 bonsai are on display at any given time. Docents can provide information about all of the amazing things to see at the garden. The collection includes one tree gifted to Lincoln and another estimated to be 1,600 years old! Admission is free.”

Plaza
“Critical Mass begins at this downtown square at 5:30 on the last Friday of every month. The group ride started here, and is now in hundreds of cities worldwide. It’s a thrilling, charming, and authentic way to explore the city—a giant bicycle parade of hundreds celebrating a friendlier, greener, healthier way to get from point A to point B. Most rides start as a celebration with a slow pace and a density that fosters a social atmosphere and makes it easy to meet the riders around you. The event can feel more political as the night goes on, so drop out whenever you like. And come ready: The mass doesn’t wait if you need to stop to pee.”

“When SF's streets are too steep for cars, they're often turned into steps -- or in this case, a slide! Ask us if you want to borrow cardboard and waxed paper for better sliding.”
