“Say Hello to Stella or George! You will find a wonderful customer service, Stella is the owner and opal cutter and George is her son and the jeweller on site. This is a family business and offers opal to suit all budgets. Quite often customers receive small gift with their purchase. Feel free to tell her that you are staying at Eva's place and engage in conversation about opal, mining or opal cutting. ”

Church
“You have to see this place to believe it!!! Rock carvings in the walls, high roof "ballroom" style design, and stained glass windows (switch the lights on at the left hand front wall to best view these) help to make the Serbian Church one of Coober Pedy's most awe inspiring structures. Also go the ramp to the top floor to view more statues carved into the rock walls - it's a masterpiece that mustn't be missed!!! Open 24/7 with a $5 donation requested to support its maintenance.”
