Park
“Tickle Park: To access one of the most wonderful beachfront parks around all you have to do is walk across the road, cross at the traffic lights and turn left. In a few metres you are at the beautiful Tickle Park where you’ll find: Ocean view picnic shelters with clean free barbecue facilities (breakfast here is worth the effort) A wonderful kid’s playground Beach showers and public amenities A large open grass area - great for kicking a footy. Lots of natural shade and a stunning ‘magical’ fig tree that is adored by all the locals. $5 YOGA Classes. These great classes take place under the fig tree Sundays at 8am, Wednesdays at 9.30 and Thursdays at 6 am. The park has plenty of parking close by and is across the road from the shops which makes it a great place to gaze at the ocean while sipping the coffee you just purchased or relive your childhood with fish and chips by the sea. ”

“A holiday in the surfing mecca of Coolum is the perfect place to learn how to surf, or brush up on your existing skills. The ideal way to learn the basics of surfing is with a two hour group surfing lesson on Coolum Beach.”

“We are the oldest Thai Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast and have been established since 1996. We moved onto the Coolum Beachfront 5 years ago into a bigger and better location and now offer great alfresco dining in a chilled out atmosphere opposite the beach. Anne, our head chef from Bangkok will charm your tastebuds with the most amazing Thai Cuisine your will eat in Australia. If you are a lover of good Fresh Thai food you will love our meals, mostly Gluten and Daily Free. We do not add any MSG or stock powders or fillers to our dishes and are extremely Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. We have created a whole menu just for Vegan/Vegetarian guests. Our restaurant is fully licensed for Beer, Wine, Spirits and have a great Cocktail Menu. We also cater for children with their own menu too. We are easily accessed with wheelchairs and have a 60 bay car park in our complex for easy parking if needed. Please don't forget to book your table for evening dining to avoid disappointment :)”

Café
“If you want a perfect croissant without going to France, Ma Boulange in Coolum has it! The charming French couple who operate this cafe, along with their welcoming and hard working staff, serve a wide variety of delicious meals and tempting treats. The eggs Benedict is gorgeous for brunch, a plain croissant with a side of jam is heaven on a plate and the pear almond tart for a treat with a great coffee is bliss. Highly recommend a visit when in Coolum”
