Park
“This place is terrific no matter what you like to do. Lake Macbride is a no-wake lake so you can kayak, canoe, etc. There are motor restrictions on this lake so don't plan to take a boat with bigger than a 9.9 HP motor from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Beach, hiking trails, boat ramps, fishing. The sunsets here are incredible - many options for picnics for families or for a romantic evening. You will need a car to get to this spot unless you hike the five mile trail from town. ”

“This is the closest grocery store. It doesn't have the huge selection that Hy-Vee has, but it's reasonably priced. Closed on Sundays.”

Natural Feature
“Owned and managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, this lake offers boating (no motor or size restriction), fishing, beaches with swimming, and general lake recreation. Popular in the summer - locals prefer the weeknights. Rental boats are available from Coralville Lake Marina and Bobbers Marina - reservations recommended as they do sell out.”

“Only a 10 minute drive to seriously the BEST BBQ I have ever had in my life. I love the fatty beef brisket and their cornbread. Everything I have tried here has been awesome. Be sure to try all of their BBQ sauces, they let you take lots of samples home.”

“J&A Tap was bought by John and Amanda in November of 2008. They have remodeled the inside and out, with new changes almost every month. Added 3 sand volleyball courts and a kitchen for your favorite bar foods. J&A Tap is family-owned and operated right here in North Liberty, IA.”
