  • Such a lovely, calm and clean space. I will definitely check to see if it is available the next time I need to stay near there

  • Great private space, with all amenities you could need.

  • Jonathan's place was a great location for where I needed to be in SW Portland. His directions were very easy to follow and his responses were always prompt. He even provided bananas and brownie bars, which was a thoughtful touch! The room is small and simple, but cozy assuming you just need a safe space to stay and are out exploring the city. Would recommend!

    Emily2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of my favorite places to stay in Portland. It is clean, quiet, comfortable and located close to downtown. Look forward to staying there again.

    Glen2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan is a 5 star host with a 5 star place! I stay here frequently and will continue to book at his place whenever I can.

    Glen2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and windproof, this place sets you just outside of the city. Close enough for a good hike in good weather, but also a cheap Uber ride for the not-so-nice days. Private bathroom and coffee machine to boot!

    Ronin2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan is a great host! The location is great and the space is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I stay here frequently!

    Glen2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable bed and everything needed in a self-contained stylish space accessible by separate entrance to main house. Beyond the bedroom is a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, plus all the makings for tea/coffee and some healthy snacks. Quiet road with no noticeable traffic noise. This was very convenient for an overnight stay while working in Portland at the south waterfront.

Enjoy Portland's SW Hills in this 2 Bedroom Apt. Private King Master Bed w/micro flannel sheets. Living Area w/Couch, Books, Poker table, Games, & SMART TV. Well equipped Kitchen w/Gas Range/Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, & Full Fridge. Office w/Desk (Chill Space OR Murphy Bed) & Bunk Beds. Full Bath w/Towels & Amenities. Wire Fenced Backyard w/Covered Porch/Tire Swing. Private Keyless Entrance & Parking. Short Walk to #12 Bus, Supermarket, & Hillsdale area.
We are located inside of the Hillsdale neighborhood about 3mi/5km from Portland city center. The SW Hills are a quieter part of Portland. We are located on the "no outlet" street... (2nd ave, not far out), but an easy Uber or I-5 hop to most of PDX and beyond. There is a corporate supermarket (Fred Myer/Kroger) and Hillsdale neighborhood center about a half mile walking distance. Transportation via the #12 bus is accessible every 15 min to the central bus mall (approx 10 min). But you should Ubur/Lyft(cheaper for groups;-) Also, trails abound. Our property is fairly private for urban standards. It abuts to Barbur Blvd, so there is traffic noise. Notably in the backyard. (I hope the tire swing giggles cancel it out=) Parking can be an issue if you have multiple large cars, but we can certainly accommodate one large car/van/truck or 2 regular sized cars. The apt is the max size that the city allows for ADU standards (i.e. any larger space would have to be a full vacation house.) This is a great house for famlies, friends, or coworkers looking for an efficient and fun space that is close to the city center. Thanks for reading, (If you have ANY questions please feel free to contact me=)
  • Great hosts, amazing house,

    Kelsey2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Doug is so communicative and made us feel so incredibly welcome. A parent's dream that there is already a pack n play at this Airbnb that made traveling with our 7 month old so much easier while our 8 year old absolutely loved the bunk beds and Murphy bed. She also totally loved saying hello to the chickens in the awesome back yard! My fiance and I loved the super comfy king sized bed in the very tranquil room and the amazing collection of books throughout the entire place. The bathroom is very clean, the shower offers plenty of hot water, and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash options are available. Plush towels and washcloths too, what more could you hope for?

    Shaun2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas has created a fantastic Airbnb, very homey, and everything you could need for a short or longer-term stay. The space was much larger than expected and nice to have separate rooms. The beds were super comfortable, great kitchen, and tons of books and games. The view of the backyard is incredibly beautiful. Douglas was very nice and helpful even letting us check in early. Communication was quick and helpful and the check-in process was super simple. We would definitely stay again.

    Scott2020-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas is an amazing person, very kind and respectful. I really loved to be at his place. Me and my family, we felt like home. His place is very clean and comfortable. I strong recommend to stay at his house. Thanks Douglas for being an awesome host. I really appreciate it.

    Arthur2020-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Doug’s place felt just like home. We enjoyed all the personal touches and even the accommodations for a family with kids. The place is super clean and had plenty of amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, so if you don’t have plans on leaving the Airbnb as much this is the place to catch some rest. And if you don’t want to lay in bed all day there’s Netflix available, board games, and a variety of books for a good read. Also they have chickens we visited with every morning and a tire swing in the back yard. The place is close to downtown Portland and a walking distance away from a Fred Meyers. This place has exceeded all my expectations and really is the biggest bang for your buck.

    Amanda2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas’s place was PERFECT! He even gave us fresh eggs from his chickens, and was quick to answer our every need. His house was beautiful and in a great location, pretty and close to everything. The bed was the most amazing I’ve ever been in! We felt at home the entire time! Would stay again 110%!

One of our 3 bedrooms in our cozy home. Queen bed, window overseeing the small patio. Shared shower and toilet. Nearby downtown, 15 minutes riding a bike, 30 minutes walking, 5 minutes by bus. This room is in the first floor, on the back of the garage. Be aware of it :)
The room is on the back of our storage/garage. Its in a very good location, easy access to any place in the city. Nearby trails and the waterfront (cottonwood bay, which is amazing for a picnic, tennis, frisbee in the summer). There is no need for a key since I will send you the door code when you book. :)
Its a very quiet neighborhood full of trails all around.
  • If you are looking for a place to stay for the night or for two months, this is a great place.

    Nicholas Alexander2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful quiet neighborhood close to the city. Danna has an adorable home that she freely and openly welcomed us into. The bed was very comfortable as was the temperature in the home. The bathroom has a shared shower but it was available whenever we needed to use it and was laid out like an on-suite.

    Melissa2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Listing was as good as advertised. Great location. Host was super-friendly, able to accommodate irregular schedule. Plenty of privacy.

    Bruce2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Danna is a very friendly host, and she provide a clean room and nice social space. The location is near by bus stop.

    Wei-Ying2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • A great place, a great host and a great location very close to the bus downtown. I loved the South American theme of the house.

    Mike2015-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had an extra night in Portland and Danna agreed to host me with little notice. The house is very comfortable and in a good area close to the bus routes. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Danna was a great host and gave me advice on where to go and what to do, she even gave me a lift to one of the restaurants I wanted to go to.

    Aaron2015-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The neighbourhood and accomadation was great! Comfortable and the other guests were good fun! Very close to downtown Portland on a bus.

    Oliver2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Danna was really welcoming, and though I only saw her once during my stay she texted me to make sure that everything was all good in the room/house and that I was enjoying Portland, which was very nice. The listing was accurate in all accounts. I had a private room with a shared bathroom. The neighbourhood was sort of a gated community without the gate. All the houses looked pretty similar and had key codes to use in place of keys for their front doors. It's about 15 minutes away from the SW side city center by the bus, which is really close by. Totally great and everything I needed while I was there for my conference!

Close to South Waterfront, OHSU and NUNM. Perfect for folks who are looking for a quiet and peaceful space while in Portland. The room is on the top floor of the house and you have this floor to yourself and it includes a private bathroom (shower and claw foot tub). The room has a mini fridge and electric kettle with a varied selection of teas, coffee, still and sparkling waters. Free parking in driveway.
The space is a mish-mash of new furniture and antiques. There is a view of Mt Hood out the windows and there are black-out curtains for those who do want to wake up with the sunrise. Magazines in room vary- usually: The New Yorker, Harpers Review, New York Review of Books, The Atlantic, etc. Bathroom is stocked with bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, natural soaps, shampoo, conditioner, make-up remover and lotion. Hair dryer with styling wand in bathroom. Mini fridge, electric kettle and a variety of tea offerings in bedroom. Steam iron and ironing board. This is not a full house share (no kitchen). Self contained and very quiet and private space.
The neighborhood is a mix of old portland and new development. We are two blocks from the overpass to South waterfront area, which includes Transit Hub (Trimet Bus & Street Car, Bike town Kiosk) and Tillicum bridge. There are many food pods/carts, cafes and coffee shops in the neighborhood. 5 minute ride to downtown via Uber or Lyft. Transit to downtown is 10-15 minutes.
  • The eclectic Victorian room was a perfect match for what I needed. They comfortable homie place convenient to the medical center.

  • The perfect place to stay! I loved everything about this Airbnb. It was super clean, comfortable, spacious, and charming.

  • Great place to stay!

  • I love Zoe's place. Clean and convenient.

    Tressi2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • I felt right at home in the lovely room -- and having the whole floor to myself was luxurious. The long bath tub was a special treat after urban hiking and the tea selection was much appreciated. I really liked that there is not a large tv in the room... it felt more like a home than a hotel.

    Malia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely home. Stylish and comfortable, exactly as described/pictured. Quiet, spacious, and super clean. Quick drive to downtown, short walk to transit.

    Maria2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location convenient to downtown Portland. The bedroom suite upstairs has nice views, plenty of space and a grand old-fashioned bathroom.

    Jonathan2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • I didn't need such a beautiful or relaxing place to stay for my grad school interview weekend, but at the rates that Zoe posted, I was able to treat myself to it anyway. You should too.

This private guest room is in the walk-out basement of my home. It is in a convenient location, just minutes driving from downtown Portland on a hill, yet surrounded by forest. Great place from which to explore Portland, the Oregon coast, Willamette Wine Country, Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood area! You have your own entrance reached by going down the steps next to the house. It is walking distance to the VA and OHSU hospitals Marquam Hill campus.
There is plenty of space to be comfortable with two people. There is a smart TV but NO cable. There is a Netflix account on it. The bathroom has a shower, no tub. The heating is in the tile floor and there is a control for you to adjust. It stays cool in this room in the summer. There are two windows facing the deck and back yard which is a tiered hill. Guests may not enter backyard. There is no microwave and no refrigerator.
It is a quiet dead end street. Any direction you walk it includes uphill or downhill. I do not recommend staying here without a car unless you have specific things to do like a doctor’s visit or visiting someone in the hospitals. It is very easy to go for wonderful walks with great views of the Willamette River and Mt. Hood. There are no restaurants or stores nearby that don’t involve walking downhill and back uphill
  • Gracious host and peaceful comfortable space.

    Vahid2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A great space. Secluded in the trees but close to the city. Very private and quiet. A nice remodeled updated bathroom that was sparkling clean. Comfy bed, good coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back.

  • Great location in John's Landing, with easy access to local trails, coffee shops, etc.

    Greg2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, right off the freeway. You can hear freeway noise from the garden but it wasn’t an issue for us. The windows are small as expected in a basement apartment but it is well light and stylishly furnished. Very comfortable bed. Lots of nearby eateries.

    Christine ‘Chris’2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and cozy place close to downtown! The hosts were very thoughtful and responsive to our questions leading up to our stay.

    Jessie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Everything was beautiful! Your home was so close to everything, parking was great. • What's an incredibly gorgeous place to stay! I called it an apartment when talking to him and he referred to it as a suite... and it definitely is a suite. Lol! There's so many incredible touches there- you will not be disappointed at the bang for your buck!

    Jonathan2020-05-07T00:00:00Z

    Jorge2020-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect and so comfortable.

    Janel2020-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • A stylish, well-apportioned apartment in a fabulous neighborhood. The patio/view is a spectacular place to enjoy your morning coffee/tea and the updated amenities make it all the more enjoyable. My only complaint is that the couch - the only real seating option - is not terribly comfortable. Fortunately, you're in Portland, so you won't spend much time at home on the couch.

    Ronnie2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peter and his roommate were fantastic hosts!! I absolutely would stay there again. The place is beautiful, they are quick with responding, and the location is outstanding. I would highly recommend!

    Jessica2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's place has got to be the most stylish and well designed airbnbs that I've stayed in. It is a quick uber to the Downtown area and has great travel tips for where to go in Portland. Would love to stay there again.

    Alex2020-01-27T00:00:00Z

  • My stay at The Apricot was better than expected! Peter is a wonderful host - prompt responses and very accomodating. The amenities are spectacular. So many thoughtful touches all throughout. I ended up staying in more than I had planned and it provided was much needed R&R. I was lucky enough to experience a couple of sunny mornings on the deck - that view is NOT to be missed. The location is convenient with easy access to all of Portland. I can't wait to be back!

  • I could not be happier with my stay! The space was exactly as described, and so cozy! Willy was so helpful, and went above and beyond when I reached out to him for help during my stay. I will definitely stay again for future trips to Portland.

    Kelli2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Willy and Amy's suite is on a quiet residential street that is walking distance from the pedestrian bridge that will take you right into the heart of Portland. The space was immaculate with a huge closet and hangers, a comfy bed with a soft, fluffy duvet, microwave, mini fridge, dishes and silverware, washer and dryer, and a huge bathroom with towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and hair dryer. There was an extra bed cover in the closet, but even in late February the suite was perfectly toasty warm and I didn't even need it. I slept great. I didn't need to ask the hosts for anything additional. You will have a cozy, private space to work (strong WiFi signal), rest, and venture out to enjoy all that Portland has to offer. I definitely hope to stay here on my next visit.

Our house is a great combination of lovely outdoors, only 10 min from downtown and 1.5miles to OHSU. From the wall of windows in the living room you can see Mt. Hood, Willamette River, and light through the giant tree in the front. All furniture, bedding, dishes are brand new. NOTE this is the UPSTAIRS. One bedroom with a QUEEN bed. Sofa sleeper in the living room (FULL SIZE). Drive one block to forest bathe in the amazing Terwilliger Park- hiking trails, bike lanes and tree-covered driving.
There is plenty of safe street parking, a walk up stairs to the house, and then you're home! Enjoy the peacefulness of our perfect location and still only be minutes from downtown. About 1.5 miles to OHSU and the hospital. I love seeing the creativity of artists from all over the world. If you fall in love, let me know. The pieces come and go from the house... if there’s a tag next to it, it’s for sale. If there’s no tag, I could tell you where to go to find! Enjoy our mini art pop-up! Ps: go to baker and spice bakery (6 minutes away) for YUM treats.
Amazing! One block from Terwilliger, ten minutes from downtown, but still quiet.
  • I very much enjoyed my stay.

  • I loved the amazing views from the top to bottom windows at this place! Also great proximity to downtown and other desirable locations. This house is super clean and McArthur does an excellent job at communicating and providing helpful tips/insight on Portland. I’d stay here again if I could and I definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Portland:)

  • This house is exceptional and exactly what we needed for a getaway weekend. We were visiting Portland from San Francisco and immediately booked when we saw this house. It is a bit away from the city, but it took us a maximum of 15 minute lyft/uber ride to get to the heart of downtown. The house is beautifully decorated and the floor to ceiling windows allow a bunch of natural light in to the house. The views from the living room are pleasant (river in the distance and tree-lines all around). The house is equipped with cooking utensils should you need. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has heated floors! Jen is great at communicating regarding check in / check out. We arrived at night and had no problem using the app-based entry system to get into the house. The deck that leads to the house is flowered with vibrant colored plants and the landscaping is so inviting. I would highly recommend this house. We did not have enough time to take advantage of the nearby trails, but would suggest doing this as well.

Welcome to our home, a beautiful old house built in 1910 that we have been completely updating throughout this past year. The location of this house makes it great for getting around Portland. OHSU and the South Waterfront are a ten minute walk from your room. Access to public transportation to the heart of Portland, and other parts of town is literally three blocks away. A protected bike path to downtown and bike rentals are along this route.
On a clear day, you can enjoy a view of Mount Hood from the living room! We are one of the closer BnBs to OHSU. If you're here for an interview, you can walk to the lower buildings in ten minutes. The upper buildings are accessible by an aerial tram also ten minutes away. If you're not staying at OHSU, you'll have the whole of Portland at your fingertips. Getting to downtown by bus will take you no more than thirty minutes by bus (this includes walking to, and waiting for the bus). The brand, spankin' new MAX Orange line, which takes you to southeast Division and Clinton streets is a ten minute walk away. From here you can access everything cool in SE Portland. We are close to the freeway, but the house is up away from most of the traffic noise.
Lair Hill is a sleepy neighborhood mostly populated by white-collar professionals who work nearby at OHSU. After you crush your interview, you may find yourself in one of those 100+ year-old bungalows.

Our Borealis Room was inspired by high mountain and northern places. Light blue bedroom; "midnight" bathroom. In this east-facing micro-suite, stone and glass tile bring to mind the rock and ice of mountain peaks while everyday comforts keep you cozy.
Bellaterra is a licensed bed and breakfast in a creatively restored Victorian in Lair Hill, a historic neighborhood in close-in Southwest Portland. Rooms are inspired by nature and culture, each with a unique theme. The guest rooms are decorated with antiques, and each has its own glass or stone-tiled bathroom. Some rooms have views of the Willamette River, SE Portland, and Mount Hood.
Lair Hill is an early Portland neighborhood which offers a quiet, leafy place to relax or take a walk while providing easy access to downtown (approximately one mile). OHSU, Doernbecker Children's hospital, Casey Eye Institute and the VA hospital are all within about 1/2 mile. Also close to the vibrant South Waterfront neighborhood and the Marquam walking trail. • Bellaterra Bed and Breakfast is cute, cozy, and very easy to access! Bus routes are very close, and Lyft/Uber drivers are able to easily find their way to the house. I was even able to walk into downtown when the weather permitted. My room was small (it was just me traveling, so it didn't matter) but very comfy, and held everything I needed. The continental breakfast was a lovely addition that helped to tide me over during my mornings of exploration in the city. Overall, a great place to stay :)

  • This is a nice, clean and stylish room. It's perfect for one traveler. Ellen was thoughtful. She responded my questions quickly. Thomas was kind. He reminded me to get air for one of my car tires so I could safely drive back home. They are great people. They made me feel safe to stay there. I also enjoyed a restaurant nearby: Cascade Fare. After a day conference, it was nice to walk a block to sit in a modern new American food.

  • Super fun room. Had a really nice stay. Staff was accommodating and quickly responded to questions.

  • Ellen invited me to her symphony performance and I decided to take up that offer, which I'm glad I did because it was such a memorable experience. Great amenities and the BnB has so much personality

    Jordan2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen is a wonderful host! Her place is definitely the best to stay in Portland. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. Every morning there was served a breakfast for the guests, the whole atmosphere on the place was just awesome. It felt like everything is made with love and caring about people who are staying there. It was super clean, cozy and the location was just perfect! In the morning I saw incredible view with mountain during sunrise, it was amazing. Thank you so much Ellen! I would definitely stay there again when I’m back to Portland one day.

  • Will and Val are such charming people. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, they're truly thoughtful about their guests and make you feel very welcome. No awkwardness or discomfort at all!!

  • Val and Will were so generous and kind. The room was so cozy and comfortable as well. I would definetly stay with them again.

    Jillian2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Val and Will were very hospitable and had the place thoughtfully prepared including plenty of local guides and personal recommendations. Check-in and check-out experiences were super easy and smooth. The place was nice and quiet, and pets are friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    Cindy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Val and Will were both fantastic hosts! I stayed for a night in Portland for my med school interview at OHSU and they made me feel right at home. Their place is very clean and they were super helpful whenever I needed anything. Val and Will are just all around great people that I’m happy I met. They took care of me like I was a visiting relative of theirs, and even fed me dinner during my stay, which was huge because I was so stressed out and running around all day preparing for my interview that I forgot to think about dinner that night. Staying with them was a wonderful experience and it made all the difference in how I experienced probably one of the more stressful times of life. I would 100% recommend staying here if you’re ever in the Portland area. Thanks for everything, Will and Val!

  • Martina was a great host! Very easy to check-in and strong communication (We mentioned the Brita filter had mold and she offered to buy a new filter right away!). Check-in is easy and looks exactly like the pictures. Thank you for hosting us.

    Kimberly2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Great place.

    Ernie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Martina was an excellent host, so friendly and welcoming! She invited us up for coffee with her family on the second floor and made us feel at home, lending us some supplies we needed for our baby. The house is a nice Victorian in good condition with tall ceilings and a spacious living room and large kitchen. Bathroom was modern and very nice. It’s great for a family, with one large bedroom and a smaller one, and it’s located in a very convenient neighborhood. It’s just minutes from downtown with easy freeway access, and yet quiet and secluded. The power outlets were loose and the bedrooms could use some darker curtains, but those are very minor details in a very nice place!

    Eric2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Martinas's place was clean and warm. It is well located and only a short walk to the downtown bus. We stayed with our two kids (1 & 6), Martina had a pack and play cot that fit into the second bedroom so our kids could share the room (which they love). There are a few steps to the front door and no bath (which we knew going in). It wasn't a problem for us but it's just something to know if you have problems with stairs or need a bath for your kids. Everything was set up nicely and decorated well. We enjoyed our stay in Portland! Thanks Martina

    Lisa2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and comfortable, this house is great for extended stays. Check in is painless as you only need a code to enter, so there is no hassle over keys. The patio outside is perfect for a quick smoke or chat with friends. Great location: quiet, cute neighborhood, and walking distance to a bus stop that brings you downtown. The one inconvenience is that there is only one bathroom, which may be a problem for larger groups.

    Brandon2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, clean house, strong communication with owners. They were willing to accommodate me and my guests and I would recommend staying here!

    Sydney2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Martina's place was perfect! Only about a 10-15 minute uber to downtown and about a 20 minute walk to the river front with lots of cute cafes and whatnot. Martina was super flexible and let us check in early as well as check out late and leave our luggage at the house all day as we had a 9pm flight out. The beds were also super comfy. We will definitely stay at her house again and would recommend it to anybody looking in the downtown Portland area!

Nice quiet apartment right next to downtown PDX and near the waterfront. Near all transit, businesses and restaurants
Guest will sleep in the guest bedroom, has a Queen size bed, closet with hangers, dresser and night stand, alarm clock with outlets to charge phone, peppermint aroma mist, and fan. There’s some workout equipment you can use at your leisure in the living room. TV, cable and Internet is available at your discretion and the Wi-Fi username and password will be written on the white board near the kitchen. You can have more than 1 guest, But there’s a $10 charge per extra guest. Some rules are not negotiable, like there will be no smoking cigarettes in the apartment, that goes for every resident who lives in this building not just you. Weed is allowed BUT moderately and with all windows open. Excessive weed smoke is not allowed due to it seeping through the door and into the hallways of the building causing issues with other residences. It’s your home during your stay so just respect the place like it’s your own home. There’s not many rules to follow, just with the smoking.

  • Tyler’s Airbnb was a great find for me during my stay in Portland. Location is excellent and Tyler was very accommodating.

    Andrew2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Tyler is an amazing host who went above and beyond for me with a flexible check-in as well as tips about where to go around town. The bed was very comfy and the humidifier was a great touch ! And in my opinion the most underrated part about this location is the proximity to the waterfront area. This is the best value for a place you could stay if you ever want to visit the beautiful city of Portland. Good location and good vibes. Book now!

    Angelica2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic! One of the best you'll find in Portland!

    Brennan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location that worked out really well for my needs. I was in town on business and the neighborhood has everything I needed for my stay. Arrival instructions were clear and simple, making checkin a breeze. The room is setup really well for cooking and dining in or taking a short walk to nearby restaurants. There are a lot of great options for coffee and dining within a short distance. I would definitely recommend this place to others if you're in the neighborhood.

    Kevin2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We have rented twice now and each time, Matt has been very responsive to our requests and questions. The unit is very comfortable and convenient to the river and bike path. Although it is in the basement, we heard very little noise from above and were never bothered or kept awake. We will certainly consider another stay at Matt's in the future.

    John2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The home is very cozy and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet, and so close to just about everything. My boyfriend and I were completely in love with this place, from the helpful local tips to the stocked kitchen and games available. What really topped the cake was being able to borrow the bikes for a ride around the area-it was just amazing.

    Cristina2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Five star hospitality, great location, amazing space! I came out to Portland for a job, stayed at Matt & Christina's Airbnb to access the landscape during my first month. They go above and beyond in communication, the bikes are awesome to ride across the street and up the waterfront, smart TV with Netflix and lots of options, comfortable bed and great kitchen utensils. They also provided a regular supply of shampoo/ conditioner, fresh sheets, paper towels/ tp, two beers as a welcome in, and anything else you might need. :) Would def go back and will recommend to any of my friends visiting the area.

This listing is for SOLO FEMALES ONLY. You will have your own private room and bathroom in the upstairs of my rowhouse. My 8 month old kitty as well as just myself will be hosting you (and living on premises). PLEASE SEND A PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR ANY COVID UPDATES, QUESTIONS AND/OR CONCERNS as I am adhering to CDC and Air BNB recommendations and protocols as things are evolving!
Guest room is upstairs with an adjacent private bathroom. Block out blinds, high end linens and towels. 3 types of pillow offerings( memory foam, down, or synthetic)Comfy queen size bed ( memory foam topper) with blanket layering options. There is a small closet, dresser and extra blankets! Sound machine and coffee/ tea maker with snacks and water in room. Salt Lamp. Dyson air purifier fan and heater. Small writing desk and chair. Robes and slippers....soft and soothing!. I just got a kitten.....and he is very curious. I've been trying to keep him out of the room!! My room is at the opposite end of the guest room upstairs.
The John's Landing neighborhood in SW Portland is a mix of historic Victorian houses, condos, and apartments nestled amongst the trees! It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city....so if you’re looking for action or Portlandia vibe...you won’t find it here and it is not walking distance to a grocery store but there are 2 cafes within walking distance. I'm in a good central location to get to any part of Portland. I'm close to Daya yoga studio and Elephants Deli. For the most part it is very quiet and surrounded by natural beauty. At times, here and there (especially summer months) you may hear the sounds of city life as people come and go on the street. I've designed the space and your room to help with this! The neighborhood is safe and a great place for walks or runs. You can get to the river paths which run along sw Waterfront.
  • This was a fantastic stay. Brenda is amazing. She was there to greet me when I arrived and gave me a quick tour. The space was exactly as described. She really had thought of everything. There are special little touches at every turn. Would highly recommend.

  • I stayed here while interviewing at OHSU and it was really a great experience. The apartment is very close to the campus. Brenda was really an amazing host, she has really thought of everything to help make your trip relaxing and reduce your stress. There are plenty of snacks and freshly brewed coffee in the morning. She has anything you may need in the bathroom, and even hair products for us curly girls! Traveling alone as a woman can be stressful enough, Brenda has created a great space where we can feel safe and comfortable.

    Rachel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Brenda's Sanctuary in the City place during my orientation for a new job with VA and I had a wonderful experience. While I chose her property for the close proximity to OHSU/VA campus initially, now I am planning to return for other personal retreats or professional related reasons since her home is really true to its name, Brenda was a wonderful host--very attentive to all details to make the stay pleasant and comfortable; available as needed but not intrusive; inspiring trust, willing to even make special accommodations or provide help/support beyond what I expected. I highly recommend her place, which I can honestly say was a healing experience! Luiza

    Luiza2020-01-23T00:00:00Z

  • Brenda was truly an amazing host and her accommodations were well above and beyond my expectations. Our private, self contained, all-new apartment is a great choice in a time of social distancing. Minutes from downtown, Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), the VA Medical Center, Lewis & Clark College, Portland State University (PSU) and Multnomah Village and Hillsdale neighborhoods. Easy access to I-5. Three-minute walk to bus stops. And moments from beautiful wooded trails. Enjoy your own kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, plus fast wifi and Roku TV with Xfinity.
We designed our new apartment with a lot of TLC. We know what we want when we travel, so that's where we started. Your stay starts with your own private entrance off our driveway where you'll have all the off-street parking you need. – Keyless entry opens to the bright new kitchenette with a kitchen table that comfortably seats four and a separate fold-down, wall-mounted table at the garden window to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. Make as many meals as you wish with a convection oven, induction cooktop, and microwave. Refrigerator, tea pot, coffee maker, pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils, and more are all supplied. – Off the kitchen, you'll find yourself sinking into the cushy chairs with a good book or to watch your favorite show on the Roku TV with all the streaming services and Xfinity channels you could want. – A queen bed with a plush top awaits when you want to call it a day – or just take a nap! – Enjoy a private bathroom with two sinks and a glass-enclosed shower with two shower heads (no bathtub). We supply towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, soap and shampoo. – If you're traveling with a little extra stuff, you'll find a roomy walk-in closet to store your things. – Just outside the apartment entrance, the fence gate opens to a quiet, private backyard and garden for those moments when the outdoors beckon. – One of the first things you may notice is our house sits on a wooded corner lot framed by towering cedar, oak, pine, and maple trees. All adding to the getaway feel of our home.
Our home sits comfortably among the beautiful wooded hills of southwest Portland, quiet and private, yet only two blocks from SW Barbur Blvd. and a quick trip to downtown Portland or to hop onto I-5. Hillsdale is a mile away and has great restaurants, two brewpubs, a hugely popular bakery, liquor store, laundromat, dry cleaners and more. Multnomah Villiage is less than two miles (a 5 min. drive) and has unique clothing stores, several terrific restaurants, a wine bar, fantastic book store and yogurt shop. (NOTE: Unfortunately, many shopping and dining locations are closed right now.) Just a half mile away is Fred Meyer shopping center. And even closer you'll find a Starbucks and a great hardware store.
  • Rich’s place is just as pictured, it’s extremely clean, welcoming and comfortable. Rich was an excellent host, very attentive and kind. He always answered all my questions in a timely manner. The location was perfect to get to OHSU and close by many grocery stores/restaurants. I would definitely recommend Rich’s place to anybody.

  • We are super delighted with this Airbnb, it has everything you need, it is very beautiful and clean, it is in a beautiful area of portland and close to many shops, the treatment of the owners of the place is super nice! ... Recommended!

  • This was our first stay at an Airbnb and Rich & Lynne were great hosts with any questions we had before arriving making sure the location was good and it was in a perfect location for making our trips back and forth to OHSU. We were nicely welcomed with a card, flowers, snacks, cozy and comfortable suite with a kitchenette you could literally cook anything for any meals here and plan to stay again in the future as well providing the openings are available. I / we found the Suite very comfortable, cozy, safe and a home away from home experience. Even though we were there for medical it truly did feel like a get away / mini vacation and could've easily stayed longer. THANK YOU for making this place perfect! 5 stars for sure! :)

A loving family of four, offering private day-light basement with a living room, kitchenette, bedroom & bath that is close to downtown. Sorry there is no deck, outdoor seating, full kitchen, washer dryer in the unit. Enjoy the 120" screen home theater or sleep tight on a queen Tempurpedic mattress, when you are not exploring the city. Extreme care has been taken to sound proof the bedroom, but please note the home is close to I-5 freeway. NO SMOKING OR MARIJUANA USE IN THE PROPERTY PLEASE.
This no smoking space features a private living room, bedroom and a full bath. You will have access to the entire guest suite with separate entrance. Living room has a home theater with 120” screen and reclining couch. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and bagel toaster are provided. For an informed stay we feel it is critical to also call out what this place does not have. Please note there is no deck access, outdoor seating area. The place does not have a dedicated full kitchen and washer dryer. If you need to use the washer/dryer please let us know beforehand and we will provide access. On this narrow dead end street, this is the only house with a 2 car driveway. You can use that as a landmark if you have trouble spotting the house number. Park your car (one car) in the open spot in the driveway. Climb about 15 steps down from parking space to the private entrance. Bedroom has a queen bed with Tempurpedic mattress, memory foam pillows, full length mirror, dresser & a TV. About us: We are a family of 4 with a four year old and four month old and live in the main house (upstairs and part of the day light basement with separate entrance). There are 3 doors separating the private airbnb bedroom and the room where the new born baby sleeps for noise isolation. My business schedule allowing, I’m home most of the day if you need anything. We will try our best to provide beforehand things you may need, but don't hesitate to message or call us if you need anything, or have questions. Complimentary breakfast: To start your day we will leave some items like fruits, cereal, milk/half & half/creamer, coffee/tea, bread/bagel, jam/cream cheese. No guarantees that all these items will always be available or replenished throughout your stay. They need not always be unopened boxes. Dishes: This room does not have a dishwasher or insinkerator. So please do not dispose solid trash in the sink. Entertainment: If you decide to spend your time binge watching your favorite episodes on Netflix, Roku or Chromecast on the 120” screen, we will not judge you :). The living room also has back and neck recliners to help you watch in comfort. Between 10pm - 7am, we kindly request you to keep the home theater volume below 40 (trust us, this is plenty) . Bedroom: The bedroom has a queen bed with Tempurpedic mattress, rated firm. Note that Freeway I-5 is about 100m from the home but we have made every effort to sound proof the bedroom. Each window has 3 panes of glass and the walls well insulated for sound & energy. While the bedroom ceiling is also insulated, you might still hear the 4 year old running before and after her school hours. She goes to bed around 8.30pm, so there should typically be no one walking above the bedroom later in the night. Comfort: The thermostat is in the main house but the temperature is controlled off of the sensor in the airbnb guest suite. We will try to maintain the temperature between 68 – 72 degree. There will also be 2 portable heaters provided. Entry/Exit: The home is fit with an electronic lock. To unlock, enter the first 6 digits of your Airbnb registered phone number including the area code. To lock when leaving, close the door and press the “Schlage” button on the keypad. Checkout: Checkout time is 12 noon. However, if you choose to stay back an hour or so, it usually is okay with us as long as there is no immediate reservation. Feel free to check with us. Please place used towels on the floor. Please leave the rooms in the same clean state as it was when you arrived. There is one live streaming security camera installed in the driveway. NO SMOKING OR MARIJUANA USE IN THE PROPERTY PLEASE. If we smell cigarette or marijuana you will be asked to vacate immediately and may be charged for odor removal. County Registration: 18-219864-HO
  • Rekha's place was private, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the freeway and main roads. Home theater set up was a plus. Spacious main room with adjustable reclining couch for kick back comfort. The bathroom was like walking back into the 80's but I kind of liked it. Well kept and clean. I enjoy places with decor you rarely see anymore. I would stay there again.

Come and stay in our cozy ground floor apartment with stunning views of the Willamette River. Slider doors lead onto a patio just perfect for taking in the sights and sounds of our lovely river. It feels like you're in the midst of a natural wonderland, but you are also mere minutes from downtown, Sellwood, and several other areas of SE and SW Portland! River access is just a block north at the park!
The apartment is all yours. Please note, that there is no river access at the apartment. There’s a waterfront park a block away, and a spot to rent kayaks here: https://portlandkayak.com/
  • The property was on an very nice location right by the river bank and very nice parks both sides. It is also conveniently located quite close to Portland. It is very easy to reach i5 both North and South. Checking in was very easy. The house was sparkling clean. All and all I spent a two week stay flawless.

Our private one bedroom apartment is a peaceful retreat with easy access to all Portland has to offer. A great place to relax after exploring the city.
A private entrance with keyless entry opens up to our bright and airy apartment. The space has been newly-renovated and includes one bedroom with a comfy queen memory foam bed, full bathroom, kitchenette, and a large living area with dining table, fireplace and comfortable queen sized couch bed. Plenty of privacy from the main house with personal entrance and complexly separate living space. Large windows look out into a leafy garden and fill the room with an abundance of natural light. Everything is provided to make you feel at home, including cozy blankets, a selection of pillows, kitchen utensils, plates, silverware, and a dining table that can expand and seat 6. Portland maps and guides are provided for days of exploration and access to WiFi, Netflix, Hulu and Prime is available for those drizzly days. It's best suited for guests and families seeking space to relax and recharge after a day of exploring Portland; If you're needing more of a "party spot" this may not be the best fit. The apartment has a full bathroom with stand up shower (no bathtub). The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, sink, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven (no stove) and washer/dryer. Complementary tea and coffee are provided along with restaurant/ food cart recommendations.
We are located in the South Burlingame part of SW Portland. Ideal location less than 1 mile from Sellwood, 1 mile from Lewis and Clark College, 1.5 miles from Multnomah village, 2 miles from OHSU, and 3 miles from downtown. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.
  • Great stay! It’s a quiet and private neighborhood kind close to a busy road but you don’t hear much. Beautiful hidden entrance. They even left some bagels and pastries for us! Communication for questions was very fast! Thank you!

  • I would come back! The place was clean and spotless. The biggest thing I really like was they provide a binder filled with useful information!

    Christine2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • The unit is very spacious—basically the full basement of a split-level house. Nicely decorated and super-organized with clear labels for everything. On a busy road, but the bedroom is in the back so you don’t hear it that much. Nice fenced yard.

    Lisa2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay!! Super easy access and many toiletries as well as washer and dryer were provided!

    Kayla2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is by far one of the best places I have stayed for during a trip. Kristina’s home is absolutely beautiful and it was such a nice place to home to for the few days I stayed. She provided even the smallest of things such as feminine toiletries and lotion, etc. We were even greeted with local baked goods, along with a chalkboard full of local suggestions! I would love to come back again if Kristina and her family would have us. Thank you!

  • Exactly what is described, Host is a very honest, trustworthy, and informative person. Initially we heard dogs barking when we were walking up to the place but that ended very shortly and it didn't bother us throughout the night. 10 minutes / 10$ Lyft to Downtown - Very convenient. 3 people were comfortable, 4 would be pushing it. THANKS PATRICK!!!

We loved that it was near downtown portland since we can do many activities during the day and night. Overall, I recommend this place if you don't mind not having TV and AC. The pool and books did us justices while we did a ton of sightseeing.

I have lived in Sellwood for over 15 years and, in our opinion, it's by far the best place to be in Portland! Welcome! If you are coming for work, to visit with family, or simply want to explore and relax, you are sure to find comfort while staying here in this BEAUTIFUL Sellwood Studio Space! Everything you need is just a WALK away!
The private studio is very quiet, offering a cozy space you will quickly settle into. It has been recently built to match the style of the bungalow home built in 1915. Everything is new... refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, hot water pitcher, dishware, silverware and more. All the furnishings, linens, and TV with sound bar... all are new. Very clean and comfortable, this space is settled in the magical town of Sellwood... you can't go wrong with our Sellwood Gem.
If you are not familiar with the charm and uniqueness of Sellwood, take some time to explore this place, and all that it has to offer. The studio is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood in the heart of Sellwood. To the north, only four houses away, is the infamous Sellwood Park. Walk two more blocks and you are treated with one of the best views in Portland, overlooking a 140-acre Wetland with our city skyline off in the near distance. And, the fully operating, 1910 Oaks Amusement Park and Skating Rink are within a 10 minute walk settled along the Willamette River. The amazing Sellwood Park is a walk away; If you have time for a walk, this is a must!!! At the northend, you will find a trailhead that leads down and around the 140 acre wetland of Oaks Bottom. It's a beautiful mixture of forested trails, water, and wild life! Either walk out and back or make it a loop. Depending on your direction, you may walk past our old historic Oaks Chapel, the oldest, one-story church in Oregon. View the Willamette River, 100-year-Oaks Skating Rink and Amuzement Park, and the city skyline along the way! Only two blocks to the west from the studio is another park known as Oaks Bottom. The Willamette River and Spring Water Bike/Running/Walking Trail meanders along its border all the way into downtown Portland, 3 and 1/2 miles to the north, and beyond. Head east in the opposite direction, and the bike trail continues for over 40 miles... all this is accessible by foot or bike from our studio. Mixed in with the variety of old homes, many dating back before the 19th century, Sellwood has numerous places to visit. Many family-owned coffee shops (my favorite being the Blue Kangaroo), antique shops, several bakeries (check out Grand Central Bakery), food carts, and dozens of restaurants (Jade is one of the BEST!) are just around the corner. If you were feeling up to it, you can walk to our one-screen movie theater, built with lots of character, for a decent movie price! These along with dozens of other options are all within a very short walking distance! And, of course, the New Season’s grocery store is only 3 blocks away! By bike, along the Spring Water path, it's only a 15-minute ride into downtown Portland and the OHSU Waterfront. Those who work in Portland never have to get in their car if desired! Reed College, Lewis and Clark College, and Portland State University are also only a 20-minute bike ride away. Whether you want to take a yoga class, get a foot massage, take a jet boat excursion on the Willamette, or eat at over 30 different restaurants only blocks away... Sellwood is the place to be. Add this to the vibrancy of our city and the list of things to do... it's endless! You can’t beat Sellwood for the number of things you can do… without a car. Matched with the incredible charm of this place, you will for sure want to come back.
  • Great quite place!! Perfect for river lovers only a few blocks away!

    Tyler2020-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • This stay is absolutely beautiful. In a wonderful neighborhood, great for walking, close to a huge park and the river. Grocery store in walking distance on Tacoma. The home itself was perfect. • We had a wonderful stay at Sheryl's place. As we were all a bit jet-lagged on arrival, we had a chance to enjoy a breathtaking range of sunrises from the lovely front balcony. Sheryl had prepared the apartment for our arrival with meticulous attention to detail, with everything we could have asked for (even books for the kids!). We are already planning our next stay.

  • Sheryl's place had a wonderful layout. Very open and cozy at the same time, made even cozier by the fact that she left us fresh flowers and a personal welcome note. I was nervous about the stairs but they are inside so not slippery in the Portland rain. As we have friends and family in the area, I would definitely stay there again. Top notch!

  • I stayed at Sheryl's place with my family while touring OSU and spending some time in Portland. The unit was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The views from the front balcony were beautiful and the wonderful breeze that came through in the evenings was so refreshing. The kitchen was superb and had everything for a dinner at home or for a quick take out bite. The central location also made it easy to see the sights. If we are ever back in Portland we will definitely stay here again.

  • Spent 2 months here as a solo traveler. Great place, feet from the riverfront, about a mile walk from the Pearl District. Apartment itself is stylish, comfortable, and other residents are quiet. Arin is very quick to respond and helped me resolve an issue I had at the apartment extremely quickly. WiFi and hot water were consistent. Cons - bed has thin mattress (murphy bed), some trouble sleeping. There is also a distant train that comes through several times a day, and always around 10pm and 5am which woke me up. However I am an incredibly light sleeper and more white noise would probably do the trick.

    Sarah2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Arian’s place is everything you could hope it could be. Right on the beautiful waterfront, and an easy walk up into town. We enjoyed a great two month stay here, and would be happy to come back. Thanks, Arin!

  • Supercling clean, puickly response, convenient location, everything was great.

Very comfortable bed, Great kitchen well stocked if you want to cook and the place is sparkling clean.. We loved the area. It is close to restaurants, shopping and streetcar etc...We walked along the river which is just about a block away. Arin was very quick to respond if we needed anything. We will definitely stay again! Monte and Kathy

  • Very good location if you’re new to Portland and trying to learn your way around. A few restaurants, cafes and shops in the neighborhood, but it is a bit of a walk to the closest supermarket. Very scenic location on the waterfront in a clean, quiet and safe neighborhood.

Beautiful, immaculate basement apartment. Queen memory foam mattress with high thread count sheets. Gorgeous walk-in shower with heated towel rack. Make yourself a meal in the full kitchen. Enjoy the gas fireplace or the outdoor patio. The location is within minutes of downtown, Lewis & Clark, OHSU and Lake Oswego. Restaurants and shopping within two blocks! We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of our apartment and disinfect surfaces and clean all linens between guests.
The apartment is located in the basement of our 1950s ranch but is completely private with keyed access. The ceiling was carefully insulated to reduce noise but guests will still hear footsteps from upstairs. Please know we are doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and cleaning all linens and towels between guests, as we have always done.
The house is located about 5 minutes south of downtown Portland and OHSU, and about 5 minutes north of downtown Lake Oswego and Lewis & Clark in a quiet, safe neighborhood. You will be less than 2 blocks from restaurants, stores and a bar.
  • This place was so spacious and clean and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely stay again

  • 10/10 recommend this AirBNB! Literally everything was perfect for our fall vacation in Portland. Location is perfect. 12 minutes from downtown. The house is easy to access from the airport in a quiet little neighborhood. Right off the freeway. There's a gas station and a few places to eat less than half a mile away from the house. Very clean. Lots of amenities. More than enough space for two people. The fireplace is lovely and great for watching TV on the couch. There's a full sized kitchen if you want to cook. Bed and blankets were very comfortable. Loved the shower. Heater works great. Place to park your rental car right next to the basement door. Thank you, Susan! We'd love to stay again in the future!

  • Susan’s apartment is perfectly located for anyone visiting Lewis & Clark and is an easy drive into downtown Portland. The apartment is very comfortable with good WiFi and the kitchen has all the utensils needed for a short stay. Susan responded quickly to any question or need that we had. We would definitely stay there again.

The Woodland Room is furnished in the colors of the forest: greens, golds, and browns. It is a peaceful, north-facing room with views of the trees. The curtained-off bathroom is grotto-inspired, with granite, marble, and pebbles.
  • Nice house in a great location for OHSU.

    Bob2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really stylish and clean place. The Woodland room we stayed in was exactly like the pictures and as described. Ellen was super great at accommodating me with a last minute change of plans and adding on another guest. Only thing I might mention for others who plan on sharing the room with more than one guest is that the bathroom is only separated by a curtain in the bedroom I was in. This wasn't a con for us, but might helpful to know for someone else.

  • A lovely Victorian getaway near downtown Portland. Beautifully appointed, cozy with breakfast downstairs in the parlour. The mini fridge in the room was a great plus. Nice folks everywhere. Fantastic culinary destination.

    Candice2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy and quiet! Stayed in the Woodland Room and loved waking up looking at the treetops outside the window each morning. Breakfast is very simple (cereal, coffee, muffin, OJ, etc.) which is exactly as it needs to be. Room was clean and safe. Was able to Lyft to many places for ~$10 with no issue. Walking down the street to some places was also possible. Very Portland!

  • Best kept secret! Charming, friendly and you feel at home. Must stay here.

  • This is a fantastic property with immense charm and character! The hosts were very prompt to reply and to accommodate. The location is second to none! You're just a few minutes away from the popular Division and Hawthorne streets, and to Downtown Portland. Commuting from here was a breeze! The rates are a steal for this beautiful stay and the amazing location. Thank you Ellen and Thomas for all your help!

This listing is for a bedroom with a queen size bed and a double loft as well as a fold-down double couch hide-a-bed. It can sleep as many as five. Common areas and bathroom are shared. Your room is on the upper level of one of Portland historic homes. It is a large Portland style house in the very center of the city.
Historical house right in the middle of the city. Please feel free to ask whether the other rooms in the apartment have been reserved. It's just possible that you might have the entire house to yourself! In this case, the common areas as well as the bathroom would be private. Your entrance would also be private. Transportation is available on the very corner, next to the house and we'll link you with all of the wonderful options for public transportation throughout Portland.
We are close to everything downtown. You might also be interested to know that there's a police rest stop in the church next door so it's a very safe neighborhood as well.

Welcome to our home, a beautiful old house built in 1910. The location of this house makes it great for getting around Portland. OHSU and the South Waterfront are a ten minute walk from your room. Access to public transportation to the heart of Portland, and other parts of town is literally three blocks away. A protected bike path to downtown and bike rentals are along this route.
One of the closer BnBs to OHSU.
Lair Hill is a sleepy neighborhood mostly populated by white-collar professionals who work nearby at OHSU. After you crush your interview, you may find yourself in one of those 100+ year-old bungalows. My own home is 106 years old and upkeep is almost a full time job for me.

  • A terrific place to stay in Portland. Easy access to downtown via streetcar. Lightrail also 5 minute walk away. Good neighborhood, many good restaurants. The building is clean and modern. The studio is cozy, but the big windows are excellent. Great bath and kitchen (although the hot water has a comical mind of its own). Good wifi. The host is terrific. Responsive and enthusiastic. Check-in/check-out was easy.

There are plenty of great food places within walking distance. The condo itself was awesome. It was spotless on arrival and the kitchen was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking to stay in the Portland area.
