Neighbourhood
“Courtmacherry and Timoleague and The Seven heads walk A walk along Courtmacsherry village is lovely. There's a number of good cafes but with kids best drop into the Golden Pheasant cafe (and aviary) and find the Eagle Owls, well worth a look, especially at feeding time. The Lifeboat pub is gorgeous. At the end of the village is the beach and the beginning of The Seven Heads Way, which goes pretty much all the way to Inchidonney (50k+). From Courtmacsherry go as far as you like and then back, worth it.”

“Deciduous natural forest with marked pathways, skirting the sea and coming out into a panoramic headland. Bluebells time is wonderful. Continue as a cliff walk and head back into village via "the fuschia trail" by the Courtmacsherry Hotel.”

Point of Interest
“When it comes to unique wildlife encounters there are few things as breath-taking and humbling as coming face to face with the world’s largest creatures. Whale watching is one of those activities that comes close to the top of every “100 things to do before you die” bucket list ever compiled — and it’s much more accessible than you might think.”
