“The Dragon's Tooth Trail is a rugged and rewarding hike. The trail offers incredible views of the area and an opportunity to see some of the unique geological features of Cove Mountain. The mountain is home to various outcrops of rock, and the "Dragon's Tooth" is a unique spire that projects 35 feet above the surrounding rock. The head of the trail also offers excellent views of many nearby and distant peaks. It's a rewarding climb that requires some skill and challenge to travel.”

“Southern home cooking served family style. Great place to eat! Especially if you hiked McAfee's or Dragon's Tooth, just a little further out 311 in the beautiful Catawba Valley. We had our wedding rehearsal there and it was fantastic. Call ahead for reservations.”
