Building
“One of Memphis' best examples of where community is part of the building design. This building was once one of the Sears and Roebuck catalog distribution centers and has been restored to support community with a YMCA, Health Center, Brewery, Charter School, and many bars and restaurants. You must see to believe it.”

Entertainment
“Home to endless -- and often amazing -- art shows, the Crosstown Arts area has sprouted up in anticipation of the redevelopment of the Sears building. The mesmerizing Beacon sculpture, also known as the “Bicycle Windmill," by Eli Gold and Colin Kidder greets visitors to the area. There are also several murals including the new I Love Memphis mural by Jay Crum and Kong Wee Pang. The Moonpie Project is a rotating mural series featuring new artists (from both Memphis and other cities) every two months. Now look up! The billboard "Jackie in the Secret Garden" is by Maritza Davila.”

Food
“Icy treats made with natural ingredients in the Mexican paleta style. Flavor options vary seasonally, and the cold weather flavors are some of the best! Light, delicious and satisfying. Tip: ask for your pop to be dipped in chocolate. You won’t be sorry! ”
