“Very large County Park with hiking, biking and swimming beach right on the Hudson. We come here frequently.”

“Teatown Lake Reservation is 1,000 nature preserve and education center. Dale and I enjoy walking around the lake (some rocks and roots, and takes around 40 minutes). It's peaceful and there's all kinds of wildlife. They also rehabilitate injured animals and birds and you can visit these, also. There are also indoor exhibits and a gift shop, but getting out into the countryside is the reason we go! Small parking fee - well worth it!”

“There is another swimming hole/beach up river called Silver Lake Park but they require you to be a resident to swim there. Mayo's Landing technically requires the same but no one ever checks it!”

“208 acre waterfront park containing tidal wetlands, a fresh water pond and wooded trails and provides boat access to the Hudson River. In winter, it is a favored spot for viewing eagles on the Hudson”
