“Sail across the smooth waters of beautiful Lake of Bays aboard the historical SS Bigwin! We offer regularly scheduled one-hour public cruises starting in June through to October. Cruises are available daily during July and August, and several days a week from September through to Thanksgiving. Departing from its dock in Dorset Ontario and cruising down majestic Trading Bay with its tall pines and towering cliffs, you’ll love seeing beautiful Lake of Bays as the world’s elite did in the early 1900’s. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the splendour. Arrive early so you can tour our Marine Museum and get checked in!”

Grocery Store
“Voted "Canada's Best Country Store", this famous general store is a "must-see" for anyone visiting the Muskoka or Haliburton area. Located by the bridge on Main Street in Dorset, the store has been owned and operated by the same family since 1921, and now sprawls over 14,000 sq.ft. of retail space. Shoppers can find gifts, souvenirs, housewares, clothing, footwear (where moccasins are a specialty); a true "browser's paradise". Robinson's also includes a Foodland supermarket, a Home Hardware, and "The Red Onion", our upstairs Ladies' Boutique. Ample free parking or come by boat on beautiful Lake of Bays. Open 7 days a week, year round. Hours vary by season.”
