“A one of kind cocktail bar offering a big selection of unique and classic cocktails and spirits. Green Project also operates a kitchen where you can enjoy burgers, pizzas, pasta and salads all made on the spot using local products. All that while listening to some good music (occasionally live) in lovely surroundings. Once there, do not forget to ask Yannis (the owner) to show you his homemade marmalades and jams. ”

“The cuisine at Markakis is traditional Greek with a variety of fresh fish dishes prepared according to local recipes! There is always a huge selection of fresh sea food on offer and guests can choose from a variety of delicious fish soups: red mullet, anchovy or octopus. The Markakis is also famous for its lobster spaghetti, homemade sweet wine and souma, a traditional drink made from figs!”

“Buzzing with a great selection of hand-picked old-school music ranging from smooth jazz to psychedelic rock, it's right on the beach of Drios and usually packed with everyone and anyone that passes through there. It's a calm place to grab a drink and enjoy the ambient setting and is known for being one of the best bars on the island.”

“ The Mecca for Wind Surfers! Long and sandy beaches with beautiful swimming pool-like water and the best circumstances for Wind Surfing; you can also rent equipment here. This is where the yearly Wind Surfing World Cup takes place. There are several hotels and taverns and a nice little restaurant with Asian Food nearby! You go there easily by bus or with your own vehicle.”

“Good "home-cooked" ("mayirefta") meals with more of a homey twist for good prices. Albeit not a seaside venue, it has a terrace where you can enjoy your meal and usually plans some music nights during the summer.”

“A hip and modern bar buried under bougainvilleas and twinkling lights. With high to moderate prices and many options for a bite or a drink, it's usually a bustling and refreshing place to go during the early or late hours. The food there is also divine.”

“Great quality food, obsessively traditional, disarmingly familial and elaborately delicious, it boasts for a serene environment, quality ingredients and good prices. On some nights it features a band that performs well through the night. You could also grab a cup of coffee there and enjoy it under the tall shades of the many trees that shield it from sight. ”
