“A casual atmosphere offering award winning Mintaro restaurant and equally exemplary wines and craft beers. Set amongst the vineyards, a nice place to take the whole family. Ive enjoyed going to Hickinbotham to watch a folk band play in the beer garden. Its a easy to get to and nice and close to Mornington. ”

“This idyllic location is the home of the Diggers Club, and shop for a huge range of plants, heirloom seeds and garden hardware. The gardens change throughout the year and peak in summer with wonderful planting combinations of summer perennials and heirloom vegetables. You can also dine at the historic Heronswood restaurant, enjoying dishes created from the freshly grown garden produce.”

“Situated on the Marina at Safety Beach is this stunning new venue which recently opened in September. It has a Fine Dining Restaurant which overlooks the Marina, open for dinner Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday lunch. Bookings essential. Theres a Cafe, if you prefer a relaxed coffee, breakfast or lunch no bookings required you can just turn up and grab a table. The bar is open from 3pm for beverages, cocktails and a light bar menu. If you like whats on the menu you may like to take a browse in the gorgeous Providore which has many gourmet delicacies with a touch of Italian flavour. Finish it off with a visit to the Cellar which houses a mix of both international and many local Peninsula wines to choose from. Well worth a visit and only a five minute drive from Ian Cove”

“Wombat cafe is off the main beach-side part of Dromana but close to the mountain-biking Mecca along Boundary Road. It's fantastic to have a vegan and raw food cafe that's local. Everything is prepared fresh on site. Given the cost of ingredients and manual processing the prices are quite reasonable. The food is fantastic! A good sized variety of food options are available. They have a take away meal fridge so you can pick up a meal so you can dine in later if you wish.”
