Casa Tota - Heritage home with a Pool in Assagao

Casa Tota is a Portuguese style house that is approximately 150 years old. It has been lovingly restored and is furnished comfortably. There is a central courtyard, which houses the kitchen and dining areas and a decorative water feature in the middle. There are 3 double bedrooms with en-suite showers. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The third bedroom can be configured as a twin room on request.There is also a lovely garden area with a shallow private pool in the back yard.

It shares its neighbourhood with the likes of Rachol Seminary and other Ancient Churches. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families, and particularly those wishing for a long stay. The Loja (shop/store in Portuguese) on the water’s edge was a trading post. Canoas (boats) exchanged salt and tiles for farm produce. Restored, it’s now a self-contained space in the same rural waterfront setting, tranquil yet only 20 minutes from Panjim. It remains a working farm with normal farming activities.
