“Near Dunedin, I think the best beach in Tampa Bay. Also Dunedin has a great downtown”

“Local brewery with good eats! Live bands regularly. Drum circle night with the locals is pretty entertaining, no rules, just bring a drum and swing to your own beat with everyone else.”

Route
“This state park features sunbathing, shelling, swimming, fishing, picnic pavilions, bathhouses and a park concession building. The Caladesi Island ferry departs from Honeymoon Island. Like Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island is one of the state’s few undisturbed barrier islands. The Island also features two bird observation areas, a pet beach and two nature trails. “This is my (Trisha's) favorite place for a date night. They have a great cocktail menu, wines, and beers. The food is always delicious. I enjoy going for a full meal or just to grab drinks. They often have quality live music which is a nice treat and you can sit inside or out. I highly recommend The Living Room for a nice evening out!”

“Great brunch spot, for both weekdays or weekends. Get a table outside in the back, under the big covered outdoor back patio and sip bloody mary's or mimosas while scarfing down their famous cinnamon buns, and other pastry specials. ”

“The best way to go is by car or by bike. There is a fee that is $8 per car.”

“Not the biggest place, and it sits right on a street, but my personal favorite in terms of the beer itself. Dunedin has alot of competition for beer, but 7venth Sun's IPA's and are the best (according to me ), along with the rest of their offerings. Grab a flight, and sit at the open air window, and hang with some locals debating baseball. ”

Park
“Vibe: Serene and pristine. Caladesi is accessible only by public ferry or private boat. However, there’s a convenient marina and concession near the white sands and maritime hammocks. What to Do: Drift away from the popular areas. The tip of the island is good for shelling, and on the inland side, you might lock eyes with an osprey.”

“Great lunch spot on the water, right down by the Dunedin Marina. They haul in their own fresh fish. I recommend the fish sandwich and an ice cold beer. Their beer selection is pretty good. They have a small bar inside, but most seating is outside, overlooking the marina. ”
