“Described as a “Chef-driven butcher shop, deli, and grocery store” its one of our favorites to pick up a quick lunch or dinner. If you feel like carry out, they are known for their gigantic made to order sandwiches by lunch, and their rotating gourmet dinner menu, available for pickup every evening between 5:30 - 8:00PM. Dinner often sells out, so we recommend calling in the afternoon to put in your order. To view the daily dinner menu - check out stachowskimarket.com”

“The only downside to Dupont Circle is that there isn't a great grocery store nearby. Folks in the neighborhood have nicknamed this the "Soviet Safeway" because it's not really a full grocery store and is often out-of-stock on things. Still, it's the closest. Other options include the Harris Teeter on Kalorama Road (in Adams-Morgan), Whole Foods on P Street, or Glen's Garden Market (organic, but insanely expensive).”

“This is a go to spot in the neighborhood because it has a little bit of everything. The grocery store section, which only sells produce from local and sustainable farms, is a bit pricey, but the prepared food section and the made-to-order food area in the back are great and quick options for high quality food at any time of the day. They also have a bar area with a rotating tap of reasonably priced pours from local breweries and some of the best cold brew in the city. Not to mention the extensive outdoor seating area that is utilized year round.”
