“This imposing castle is just outside the village. Built at the end of the 16th century, added to in the 17th century before being severely damaged in the French Revolution has recently been restored. You can have a guided tour in the summer (the owner's niece stays there during her university holidays!).”

Grocery or Supermarket
“This is the closest supermarket and it is a pleasure to do the shopping here. Open from 8am - 8pm every day and from 9-1pm on Sundays. A couple of tips. It's customary in France to always say 'Bonjour' in shops, banks etc. It will get you off to a good start, even if your French is very rusty! Bring your own shopping bags or use one of the cardboard boxes which are usually behind the check out points.”
