Restaurant
“This is a local institution for seafood of all kinds. The bar is a favorite waterhole for many local fishermen, and it often has live music. There's a no frills dining room, but the best part is the roof deck for drinks, music, and a more limited pub menu than in the main dining room. Haddad's is about a 5 minute walk from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, walk down to The Esplanade in Brant Rock Center, and you'll see Haddad's on the right, after the strip of stores and the laundromat.”

Restaurant
“This is a cool beach bar that has good food and drinks and live entertainment. The locals hang here a lot. Just be aware that on weekends after 9pm they have live bands and it gets loud so if you are looking for a quiet place don't go when the bands are playing. The Jetty is about a 5 minute walk from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, walk down to The Esplanade in Brant Rock Center, and you'll see The Jetty on the left, about halfway down the Esplanade.”

“No other ice cream shop compares. Made without any preservatives this family owned operation has been cherished for many many years. School field trips are taken here to get the first ice cream of the season. Did you know Far Far means grampa in Danish ? at least that's what the owner told me !”

Bar
“This is a local watering hole that is famous for its Greek style pizza. There is keeno in the bar and lots of TVs for sports fans. They have an extensive menu with everything from dinners to submarine sandwiches. It can get loud with all the people, music and TVs, but it's a fun place to hang. At night they often have DJs or live music. The Venus is about a 5 minute walk from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, toward Brant Rock Center. Walk down to The Esplanade in Brant Rock Center, and you'll see The Venus on the right, after the strip of stores and the laundromat, and before the Hop restaurant.”

“Circa 1898 statue of Myles Standish (Military leader of Pilgrim Colony from 1621 until his death in 1656) atop a 116 foot tower is located in this State Reservation. Take a picnic and enjoy the view, on a clear day to Provincetown and the arm of the Cape.”
