“The views on the drive to Point Udall are, in my opinion, what make this a worthwhile stop. ”

“Buck Island tenders two sides of the same great coin: one of the world’s best beaches on one, and a prime snorkeling site on the other. Just 20 minutes by boat, the island represents just one percent of Buck Island Reef National Monument, a pie-shaped, (mostly) underwater park designed to protect the fragile coral reef and marine environment ”

“Located just east of Christiansted. Serves a mix of Caribbean/American food. Has indoor and outdoor seating in a lovely little courtyard. Try to get the outdoor. Recommend ordering off of the daily specials menu. One of our favorites.”

“Sounds crazy, but their Disco Bingo on Thursday nights is incredible! Deejay plays classic tunes between rounds of bingo (dance if you want to!). The pot is often HUGE (I’m talking like $1000-2000 huge!) for the final round, and somebody will win, so it might as well be you! Winners are sometimes able to pay for their whole vacation! Limited seating, and it’s so popular on the island that you need to call the restaurant to reserve your spot a week in advance. $5 per bingo card; you can use it for all rounds; buy as many cards as you want. Good luck!!!”

“Five minute walk down Strand St. Great chef and specials. Small place not on the water, but you can walk back along the boardwalk.”

“The Caribbean lobster dinners and various steaks are their specialty. But, we have never had a bad meal here. The seaside location is just perfect for fresh caught tuna, wahoo and mani specials. A well stocked bar serves most libations. Sunday Brunch has a mouthwatering menu, too. We recommend calling ahead for reservations. ”

“Castaways is a fun family-friendly place that has something for everyone. You can eat in the breezy outdoor restaurant/bar or order take out. While the menu has other options, we especially love the pizza here. They also have nightly entertainment such as open mic night, bingo, and live bands. Be sure to try your luck with playing the 'Shake of the Day' which is a dice game at the bar and win some cash!”
