“Multiple amazing courses! #1 THE CLASSIC NORTHERN MN'S MUST-PLAY COURSE Designed by course superintendent, Scott Hoffmann, The Classic was created to give every player the most unique and tour-quality experience available in the midwest. The Classic works flawlessly together with towering oaks and northern Minnesota beauty to provide a natural, tranquil and traditional golf experience that is truly unmatched. Rated America’s Top 100 Greatest Public Courses (#59 in 2019) and 5 Stars by Golf Digest, #2 PINE BEACH EAST Scotsman James Dalgleish put a lot of love into his 1926 design of our Pine Beach East course, and we put every bit as much into maintaining this historic gem. All of its traditional charm remains. However, some change is for the better, and we feel certain our rebuilding of the greens, refined bunkering, and Scots-approved natural fescue grass adornments would please Mr. Dalgleish as much as it does the modern golfer. #3 PINE BEACH WEST Seven par threes of properly varying distances combine with two challenging par fives, and a host of tempting par fours, to offer a sub four-hour crash course in the game of golf. The West is a downsized golf university with a complete curriculum. All 14 clubs in your bag will get their exercise, as will your judgment and savvy. Conditions are top notch and the greens are quick and true. Our faculty of golf professors is so confident you will enjoy your education, they offer a complete tuition refund for a round that breaks par. Go West! Your challenge awaits.”

“An absolute must play. Two Legacy Courses: Dutch Legacy The crown jewel of Brainerd golf courses, Golf Digest has rated the Dutch Legacy at 5 stars, making it one of only 24 five-star public courses in the U.S. for 2009. Brilliant design blends with the beauty of an Audubon Signature Sanctuary course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The design showcases a skillful blend of par 3s, 4s and 5s, resulting in an exciting level of playability for all levels of golfers. At least five sets of tees are positioned on each hole. Bobby’s Legacy This fabulous 4 1/2 star-rated (Golf Digest) Brainerd golf course was named after its famed designer, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Bobbys Legacy is a shot-makers dream, featuring elevated tees with a beautiful harmony of shorter holes with longer, more traditional par 4s and 5s. The signature of the course is its many split fairways and multiple tees for the ultimate in playability for all. The beauty of dramatic lake vistas will take your breath away.”

“This a close-by (2 miles) wonderful place to go to relax, fish, or just walk around. The one side of the bridge/ rec area has the Dam, popular for fishing, a playground, grills and picnic area, the other side of bridge has the small private beach, swimming, boat launch and picnic area with lots of shady tall trees. Never crowded, and little known beach used by primarily locals. About $3-5 bucks a day for the beach/boat launch side. The Gull River runs under the Dam, and is just beautiful to cruise down in a canoe/kayak. ”
