Mountain
“Its a bit of a walk to the top but well it for the best views of the city and surrounds. Marvel at Edinburgh’s sweeping cityscape from high above at Arthur’s Seat. An enjoyable hike through the lush terrain, grassy slopes and diverse natural structures will lead to the peak of a collection of hills, otherwise known as Arthur’s Seat. Spot iconic sites from the top such as Edinburgh Castle and Calton Hill. The summit will offer ever extending views of the city, sea and countryside of Scotland.”

“On a nice day, at any time of year, the Botanics are a great place to visit. As well as wandering around these beautiful gardens, there are amazing glasshouses, a cafe and a shop, as well as being able to catch glimpses of the city and castle. Check out their website - they commonly have things going on (e.g., Christmas at the Botanics (light installations) and the Luna cinema).”
