“4 mins walk/ Bio Oko is a single-screen cinema from 1940 . It is one of the hitherto preserved and operated cinemas from before 1990 and since 2007 it has focused on non-traditional and art production. “Amazing brunch and cake spot. I sometimes go in the evening for cake as well. It can get crowded on weekends so you might have to wait about 10 or 15 minutes for a table, but it's worth it for the brunch tower!”

Cocktail Bar

“Black Angel's Bar in Prague is designed in the style of 1930s restaurants, the so-called 'public houses', where people of all social strata met their friends after a hard day’s work to cheer the spirit with a good drink, which was then quite unaccountably banned. Located on the second lower level of the hotel U Prince in Old Town Square, it was previously called the Black Angel. The premises with the original Gothic and Romanesque masonry, which creates an atmosphere of secretly 'getting together’, immerse you in the mood of black and white films, where the names of cocktails are not just void of meaning.”

“Best ice-cream in Berlin by none! The queue in the summer is so long they had to open another shop next door so people can queue on both sides of the street.”

Cocktail Bar

“In the heart of the Žižkov party district, this bar nurtures the same essence of underground hedonism as Charles Bukowski, the iconic writer it pays homage to. With dim lighting, a cosmopolitan crowd and zigzagging shelves stocked with curios, Bukowski’s is popular with both Prague residents and tourists. The menu is all cocktails and no food, with half-pints of locally brewed Vinohradský lager available on tap. The sociable mood is encouraged by friendly bar staff and low music. ”

“COFFEEEEEEE!!! Yes, this is a place to go for coffee lovers. But there's also a great selection of breakfasts and other bites including all the hipstery-yummy-avocado-quinoa-superfoods that are fashionable these days :) You are not allowed to reserve a table here, so first come first served, others wait in line (don't forget to ask the waitress for a number to get a table).”

“It’s about a 20 Minute nice walk to the Alster (the big lake in the middle of Hamburg) and the Alsterperle. In winter, you should have a Glühwein or a “Lumumba” (Hot Chocolate with Rum) here and just watch the lake. It’s calm and cosy and they have warm blankets. ”
