Nightclub
$$
“Established in 1991, this flagship London club has spawned a record label and countless multimedia outlets since then, but still remains a key destination for dedicated clubbers in the capital. Some of the world's biggest DJs regularly play here alongside up-and-coming acts in various rooms, so if you're seeking a big night out in Elephant and Castle, there's nowhere better.”

Theatre
“Fancy a night at the theatre. Why go to the West End when you have an excellent theatre right on your doorstep which hosts both musicals and plays. Go early for a pre-theatre drink in the bar or head to Mercato Metropolitana Food Market which is just opposite.”

South American Restaurant
$$
“In a way this place doesn't look like much - in a tired and dilapidated shopping centre (which is going to be demolished soon) it's actually a hidden gem of Latin atmosphere. Columbian beers and food, South American football on the tellys, and families having a great time. A great place for an afternoon beer.”

“A new gym and swimming pool across the road behind Pret A Manger, they have casual session prices for both the gym, pool and activities (yoga and pilates).”

Cinema
“The Sunday roasts here are amazing, they come out incredibly hot and are so tasty! Fantastically friendly staff too who can't do enough for you. Highly recommend. It's definitely a pub by the way, not a cinema like Airbnb are insisting. Weird!”

“Our local pub at the end of the road. The landlord Darren totally renovated the pub when he bought it and is now one of the best around this area. ”

“This is the near Tube, train. Only 5 minutes by bus or 10 minutes walk. Also there is the shopping centre.”
  • 11 locals recommend
Metro Station
“Bakerloo line and Northern line (bank branch). From the station platforms always take signs for ‘Imperial War Museum’ exit and you’ll come out right opposite the flat. Otherwise you’ll come out next to the shopping centre on the opposite side of the roundabout. You’re geographically very central so often buses or walking can be preferable to the tube. But it can be a quick way to get to Oxford Circus or to travel longer distances in London. ”

“Even though, located in the old & aesthetically unpleasing mall of Elephant & Castle, this Indian restaurant is rated highly for its genuinely delicious Indian food. Casual vibe 5 mins away.”
