Molecular Gastronomy Restaurant
“One of the best restaurants in Australia, if not THE BEST one. The crown jewel of Melbourne fine dining. Set menu only. Getting a table at Attica is extremely difficult; you need to book at 9am on the dot on booking release date (the first Wednesday 3 months before intended booking). This is because at 9:05 all tables will be gone. If you are unable to get a table at Attica, you can try Vue de Monde in the CBD; this is a much bigger restaurant so it is likely to have seats available last minute. Personally I prefer Attica over Vue De Monde.”

Deli / Bodega
“Soak up all the culture of Ripponlea and enjoy the most delicious and nutritious home-style hot and cold food options, the cakes are to die for. The cafe staff are so friendly and helpful and it's a great place to take your book or laptop outside of the lunch rush. Open 7:30 a.m. till 6 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the weekends. If you enjoy your meal Amanda the owner has published a beautiful recipe book on sale in-store. If you're keen to try the famous Reuben sandwich be there right on lunch hour as they sell out. On the pricey side but worth a stop in go with an empty stomach servings are ample. ”
